Past Failed Love Affair - Possible..... But if Maan ever felt an emotion like love towards a female he wouldn't be as confused as he is now, regarding his feelings towards Geet. I don't think he had let anyone came that close to him before, let alone a female.... Moreover he hates females in general.... If it was just a past love affair, his hatred would have been a bit more specific and not this much deep rooted( that's what I feel)...

The wrong thing happened towards his mother - But if Maan felt bad about what ever wrong doings happened to his mother, he would be a bit more supportive of females... Any guy who loves and respects his mother won't be able to hate females that deeply.... In the beginning Maan point blankly refused to help Geet, when she was in trouble....

But it possible that he had known someone ( male or female) not fighting against the wrong doings against him/her.... Maybe that why, Maan told Geet that he cannot respect anyone who cannot fight their own battles and silently suffer all the atrocities done to them....

Could be his father left his mother for another female - That's possible.... Maan might have loved his mother very much.... Maybe his mother committed suicide or something when Maan was very young and impressionable age, owing to his father bad habits.... So in Maan's mind it would have been that, his love for his mother was not enough for her to continue living.... And also hatred towards the woman who broke his parent's marriage.... My imagination is going very wild here.....

So Maan shouldn't like his father also... Nothing is said about that.... Why only his hatred towards females is so much emphasized ???

Maan Illegimate Child - According to Dev, he always got what ever was leftover from Maan..... It was always Maan first and then Dev.... Why would that be the case if Maan is illegimate.....

So its all a bit confusing.....

And where is Vikki??? What happened to him?? .....

What about Kamya?? Is she not Maan's sister???

Both Daadi and Maan talked of bringing Dev, Vikki and Maan together under the same roof, so as to bring the entire family together.... So if Kamya is their sister why is she not included?

Also the photos in Maan's house only show 3 brothers together and no sister.....
Or did I miss any Picture of Kamya???...

Why does nobody wants Dev's mother to live with them???? She is even not mentioned in any of the conversations....

The more I think, more confusing it becomes.... It can be any one of the above or a combination of a lot of things......

One thing I am 100% sure.... Maan does carry a lot of emotional baggage with him.... About what it is..... Your idea is as good as mine...
