For Geet the hug was about her need for comfort from him - the one person who has some "inkling" of her dard in this strange city in a moment of emotional distress. She is focused solely on her own pain and even after she runs away because she is still in pain and realizes she hugged her "boss"

For Maan it is complete capitulation/surrender to the love she has evoked within him and that he has been denying. That's why the song fits - it symbolizes the struggle against his own heart that he loses to her.

yes the two perspective of the hug is right...

i also feel that there was a recognition of Maan by Geet not maybe romantically but a recognition of Maan with whom she can share her pain.

She saw him, may be as her saviour, but she saw HIM not just anyone, It was Maan for her. there should have been a form of flashback for her too the way Maan had right from the first meeting.

She should have some realisation that every moment of pain she has had or trouble she has been in, Maan has been there for her and it is Maan she saw and went to in her darkest moment, the moment she remembered was not with fondness but pain, utter sheer helpless pain and she only see HIM, Maan when she seeks alleviation, He is her light of hope and yes she said sorry because she realised something..

but CVs have the habit of showing one perspective so we are guessing Geets

Nargis, you are right 100%. Actually have seen so many posts on this as why Geet is not feeling much as Maan is. But you are right, How can she???

I won't go much deep as I have already posted a topic on this as you know...

Now coming to the point, First of all she is feeling guilty of hugging Maan as if he might get angry.

Secondly, she is aware of the fact that she is pregnant and defo in Indian culture a woman / girl thinks that once she's married or preggy how can she think of a man in true sense.

also she thinks that she's not a free bird now to allow anybody to come in her life/dreams. Thats what I feel...

but you know what I think CVs should give extra importance to Geet's track in bringing out the feelings in perspective of romance towards Maan. The way they handled Maan's track is appreciative but Geet's track I sooo wanna see how they handle...Its very delicate btw...

geet hugged him cuz she waz reaalli hurt...she lukd shattered in a matter of seconds...and wen maan approached her wid concern...she quickly hugged him tight in an attempt to forget her pain!

---buh maan hugged her bk cuz of his hidden inner feelins of love fer geet which he cud no longer control--he tried resisting it---like he moved his hand up and pulld them bk buh then he gave himself away .....

waowww....wat a scene yaar...buh m realli sad they ended the night track there! i wished they walked and talked on the way too....xpected sumthin more from the night!😕

The hug was beautiful no doubt...I agree with your views...I understand where Geet is coming from as well....But i think CV's needs to show us some of her realization towards Maan...Bit by bit now....

Gosh i am in such a dilemma....I want her to fall for Maan and feel for him and on one hand i know after what she has gone through, it will take time for her to trust someone.....and she will defo fall for him in time..thats for sure but I CANT WAIT..😆.I am always on the edge of my seat watching the show...Imagine once everything has been sorted out : Geet and Maan together deeply in luv...oh my heavenly god...what would that be like.....hmmmmmm
