I have caught cold and fever..so, my eyes are burning quite a lot..but fever can't keep me away from IF and you guys

So here is the next part..

Geet gets ready and goes downstairs to prepare Maan's breakfast- she had gotten used to it, and liked to see him eat a full meal before he left for work. Today being sunday, she had asked Dadi what he liked to eat and was told that since childhood, he had loved to eat Waffles on sunday..
Geet had learnt how to make them and rushed downstairs to start.

Maan came down a couple of minutes late- taken extra care to be dressed in white(it was Geet's favourite colour after all). Coincidentally, even Geet was wearing white today and Maan thought how breathtaking she looked as she came from the kitchen.

Geet noticed Maan was staring at her with super bright eyes and suddenly felt really shy. Unable to tear her eyes away from his own, she sat next to him and offered him waffles.

Maan- Geet. You didn't have to..You are unwell and...
Geet- Maan..shh..You love them. It's your typical Sunday ritual. I feel happy doing something right in your eyes.

Maan- Geet...
Geet- shh..just eat.

So he did. He had the best waffles of his life as they were made so lovingly by the wife he adored.

In a very good mood because of this reason, Maan smiled at Geet..a slow lingering smile that took her breath away

Geet- Kya hua Maan? why are you smiling in this way?
Maan- Geet. You look beautiful. and thanks a lot for the lovely breakfast

Geet(blushing)- thanks. You're welcome. Do you have to go somewhere today?
Maan- hmmm...let me think...If I leave house, you're going to go visit Pinky. But if I stay, I won't let you go anywhere..so ..what do you think?

Geet- Maan..you don't have to stay because of me, you know.

Maan- Geet. I .....(he hesitates)
Geet stares deep into his eyes, again super bright
Maan- ahem..I don't HAVE to stay, but I WANT to
Geet blushes and is thankful Dadi is here, and Maan too..as he's blushing furiously..but not regretting anything.

He decided that he was going to show her very slowly how he felt, what he felt..starting with the simple fact that he card for her and their child..

Dadi- how are you both this morning?
Geet and Maan- Good

Dadi smirks- hmm..very good! okay, I'm going shopping today so..you bachhas will be home alone. Have fun!

Maan- Dadima..please
Geet just smiles and asks them both

Geet- Dadi, MAan- do you mind if I invite Pinky and Adi for dinner? We can go out? all of us?

Maan- Geet. Of course you can
Dadi looks at Maan and says- You young people go have fun
Maan- okay dadi..Jaise aap chahein
Geet glares at Maan and says
Geet- Dadi..please..if you'll come, I will feel much better and Pinky really wanted to meet you too...

Dadi smiles and says okay

She leaves after sometime.

Geet is in her room and Maan in his. Geet is just browsing through her wardrobe, while Maan is doing the same in his room.

Geet- Today, I want to look very good.. Maan never likes what I wear. Today, he is going to not care about what I'm wearing. Today, If he gives attitude, I will give double attitude. If he looks hot, I will look more beautiful..Today, Maan Singh Khurana will lose this challenge to his wife.

Maan was thinking today Geet needs to see that I'm not merely the boss she was scared of. I will be DD( of Pinky) today, not Geet's Dusht Danav. I will be all charm today. I will make her feel like a princess, that she is- to be cherished, By ME.

suddenly they hear a knock on their doors and voila!

Pinky- Oye Geet..How are you? Adi said you were unwell.

Geet- arre Pinky..come in na! haan..but how did Adi know?
Pinky- Arre..DD was worried yesterday, so he called Adi to talk.
Geet- hmm..
Pinky- Geet...
Geet- haan?
Pinky- He really cares for you. Pata nahi- You have changed him. He smiles more, and he really cares about you.
Geet stays silent, and changes the topic to their dinner tonight

Adi enters Maan's room laughing his signature laugh

Maan- Arre Adi..Hi! how are you?You're alone
Adi- Nahi Sir. With Pinky. She's in Geet's room.
Maan- OH. Pinky is a good girl.
Adi- Yes sir. She is very good

Adi has a gleam in his eye and Maan thinks about it. Realizing that there might be more to Adi's and Pinky's friendship, he smiles faintly and changes the topic..thinking he will talk to Geet about it.

okay guys..I think it would be wise to stop here so as to give my best to the dinner!!
