i am in two minds right now let me put both the aspects

1. He saw his mother crying and suffering silently becoz of Dev's mom that's why he does not like weak women and the fact that love could make you leave your family and child for another woman

2. I don't know why, but I strongly feel its Nayantara. He might have liked her but she chose Dev over him. Though I am sure he is experiencing love for the first time, he could have had an infatuation over her which at that point in time he mistook for as love.

what do you guys think?

Ok I have a mini feeling its nayantara ,
1). Maan is elder to dev , but still dev is married and not maan (elders get married first concept)
Though I'd go with the mother -did-something option
Or hmmmm since he said pyaar jaise "vahiyaat" , as in bad emotion or cheap or watever :P he must have seen it through a close person soo it could be his mom left him and so his dad got married to pammi hence the "chote saab"

As a Maan fan i am ok with your scenrio 1...and it actually makes sense to me...But i hope it is totally not scenario 2....cause I would hate to think a Hero like Maan could ever like a low life like NT.....ugh!!!! She is ok for the slimeball Dev.....2 of a kind...u know!!!😆
