I agree with you 100%

Daarji is the most disgusting one in the family, if he wasnt this way, then im pretty sure brij wouldnt have been either...Influence matters.
And thats the scariest part, that a family like this can exist, where all the women are so weak because theyre raised under the influenses of male chauvenists and cant think of a life outside the house! :(

a sister ties rakhi on her brother's wrist every year with the trust that he will protect her all along but here unrelated men like maan, gurvinder r coming to save geet from hands of brij....all 3 r men but how different r their perspective of women.
for brij women's dreams, desires, happiness hv no value....for brij so called family honour is more valuable than a girl's life.
for gurvinder his love for a girl is above everything including his own life.
and maan...he hates girls in general (maybe some girl has cheated on him in the past)...but he values a girl's life. he has saved geet several times.

@Bold - Well these people r that such level of MCP's who think whatever wrong is happening with them is cuz of the women around. For them its only female who carries the honor of the family on their shoulders. They find ways to dump each of their mistakes on women and punish her. If they do realize their own doings toh baat hi kya hai.

Hai Rabbaa.,..I hope I m not dreaming😲😲...u all r here🤗...Woww its like going back to my old family😳😳😳...u know I replied in this post because Angel is my old Buddy sinse Kayamath days and then I saw u clicking like as well😉😆...no wonder all grt minds think alike and we all r here thanks to the hottest man in tinsel town..Maan singh khurana😎😆...

Coming to the main mudda..yeah its sad that even in 21st century such type of families and people exist who treat girls like a piece of flesh..According to them birth of a girl itself is a big curse🤢..so whenever anything goes wrong..girls become thier ultimate target no matter whosoever is responsible

It sad and horrifying to think this still goes on in the world. But unfortunately it is not just confined to the interiors of the Indian Subcontinent. Here in the West activists are fighting an on going battle against 'Honor Killings' and ' Forced Marriages". Well done to the creatives for bringing this issue to light👍🏼.

I keep asking myself that question over and over again.........why does Daarji blame Geet 😕
They were the ones to make Geet marry Dev in the first place without knowing anything abt him.
Why didn't they think abt their honor at that moment, taking in consideration that if NRI gives dhoka , what will happen with their so-called honor ???? It was their first duty to protect the honor of the family by trying to get background information abt Dev before they married Geet off
But no..............and now when the consequences of this marriage are in front of them they cannot handle it ........🤬............bunch of cowards 🤬
There is no need to blame Geet, it's not like the girl went , slept with Dev and got pregnant.......she was married to Dev............it wasn't written on his forehead that he was faking it all 😡

Angel its still happening in the interiors of places like Punjab and Chandigarh where Family honour is considered the ultimate goal of living even if it means killing your own loved ones...few weeks back I saw on star news how a brother killed his own sister and her husband because she eloped and got married to someone outside their community..it happened in a village in punjab only...so somewhere Geet serial is trying to show some harsh realities of our society only.,...

But one thing which I fail to undestand here is that why Geet is being blamed for all this when the real culprit is Darji and company who got her married to Dev without even getting full information about Dev's family..so they r responsible for this mess today and how easily they r putting the blame on poor Geet😡..mayb somewhere they r right about aborting this child as they r looking at the situation practically and Geet is becoming extra emotional here and not thinking about her future but killing is not the option 😕...they can make her understand in a more matured way rather than taking the sword in the hand and ruthlessly trying to kill an innocent girl in the name of izzat🤢

hey there Jo my darling🤗......it's see gud to see u here with us and I have been meaning to PM u but I just got pretty lazy lately to PM😆😳

oh my god hun I am shocked reading all our wonderful members comments including urs as well and thought of an elder in the house killing their kin just to their honor is scaring the living hell out of me guys.

knowing that somewhere out there in these days an age a crmes like what we all watched last night is being committed and no one is stopping it is very shocking to me😭

just imagine if a man like Maan had not come on time to stop that beast Brij he would have killed that poor girl and walk away freely
.....seriously guys it's indeed a shame.

thank u to each other and everyone of u who took time out to read this topic and also reply to, thank u all guys :)

hopefully something will be done to those who are still living like Geet's family in the 21st century and ar still so backward.

Hey dear...about this point you've made, highlighted in red...
Actually, even in the 21st century these things are very much prevalent in some parts of India. Read the newspapers, sweets...everyday there's at least one article about an honour killing...couples marrying out of their caste, inside their village, inside their gotra, despite famliy disapproval...so many things.
The worst I've heard so far is a girl being buried alive by her father, brothers and male cousins just because she dared to talk to a boy in her school.
It's something that disgusts all of us those who have their heads screwed on their shoulders...but for delusional people like Brij and Daarji, it's a norm. For them, honour is a bare neccessity, one as important as food, shelter and oxygen. They feel that it is essential for their survival. Sickening thoughts, in my opinion.
Today's India consists of two different universes...one, comprising the urban people with their liberal, practical, logical and compassionate approach to life. The other, however is the stark opposite of the former.
It comprises people who are getting more regressive by the day. I say this because about 5 years earlier, there were much lesser reports of honour killings...but you might disagree and say that they were done secretly. Still, since I never read about them, I like to believe that they didn't happen as frequently. But now, every day there's some news about the gory and cold-blooded murder of an innocent human being by their own kin. It disgusts me, but I can't deny it happens.
Villages are going back in time instead of moving forward. As hard as it may be to believe, but it's the truth...and very bitter.
Women are still treated as nothing more than property in many places of the country, and perhaps in the world.
Brij and Daarji are despised by everyone in this Forum, as all of us here are thinking people. No one can find any logic for what they're doing, and all we can do is hope against hope that they get their payback very soon in life.

Oh u should post more here 😆😆😆. Some topics r really good for debate and discussion👍🏼

21st century has nothing to do with uneducated people. For them the world is same as it was 50 years ago. Some people moved on but some of them r still standing at the same place with their false honor and beliefs.
