Firstly, thanks for having the decency to reply because clearly Chandani could not be bothered to reply back properly and resorted to what felt like a personal attack to me.

'Earlier on in the day'? Ok so what about people who live in a completely different time zone and didn't care to share their sentiments? Do we not get a chance to express our views at all? Wow, that's sad really. Does freedom of speech not exist on this forum at all? Just because a few members spoilt if for us by bashing, why punish most of us? How is that fair at all?

I'd just like to make a note to the GDT that fair enough you've please a minority of this forum, just know that you have upset a lot of us though. Even those who have not once bashed DB, or EVER interfered in GC pr for that matter even DD's personal life.

Please don't come up with comments like this forum is strictly for Maan and Geet because 90% of other forums on IF do not have that rule that the actual actors themselves cannot be discussed. If that was the case then please request vijay to remove Gurmeet's blog. After all, we're only ehre to watch the show and appreciate the character being portrayed on screen right? So why in the world do we need a blog that shows him playing with his dog?😕Or maybe this has all become too much to handle for the dev team?

Looks like this forum is fit for certain fans. The fans that will sweet talk till you become diabetic 😳 I agree, the blog should be removed. why is it here if it cannot be discussed? Pointless, I say.

Yes, some members have perhaps taken it far but even if someone wants to criticise, no harm in that either. If we can praise why not pick out on the flaws? I haven't been here for quite some time and really want to discuss the comments (which I felt were in bad taste) but everywhere I look, there's a no entry sign.

Thanks a lot! It frustrates me to think that I feel like I'm having to watch my words on an online forum. Isn't the forum a place for people to come and just chill out and express their opinions to other members with a similar interest? Then why so many restrictions on what can and cannot be said? Honestly, the only reason I can think of is that the Geet Dev Team cannot handle the amount of people bashing the actors. What they need to realise is that Geet is the most active forum on IF so what seems like a 'lot of members', is actually still only a minority. Am I sitting in jail or on a public forum I cannot seem to decide.

My respect for him has decreased. Hopefully, that will not have an effect of how I view his character on screen.

I think today on this forum I've seen more closed topics than open ones.

I m so sick of the whole episode... really. I mean if u can't tolerate being scrutinized constantly its better u become or stay an ordinary citizen. Being in the pubic eye constantly means tht every aspect of ur life be it personal or professional will be commented upon... and then u go ahead n open a public blog... why? Simple u want more popularity... u want ur fans to knw abt u so they feel even more connected... but in the process u will open urself to these same fans commenting on u n the people u associate with. N fans of other actors commenting as well.

Ever read an article or a blog post abt two actors of bollywood ... especially Salman n SRK.. mate if u will read the type of comments posted there by their individual fans... the comments posted in ur blog page will look tame.. u think these bollywood actors let these comments influence them or their family... What would happen if each bollywood or bollywood actor or for tht matter any pubic figure was constantly having to give clarifications, or having to constantly reprimand everyone who wrote nasty things abt them or their family... GC mate... they would ve no time to do anything else.

I m sorry to say this but by posting that comment on ur blog... u ve really disappointed me, a GC fan. I personally ve never posted in ur blog bcos its not ur blog but GC-DB blog... n I personally don't like DB.. so why post in a place were she is a part of. Simple.. And my not liking DB has got nothing to do with me being a GurTi fan or DD fan... I ve never liked her.. neither liked her in Ramayana nor in PPW. And thtz my personal opinion.. n if someone has a problem with tht then tough.. deal with it. N if u can't deal with people not liking what u like then showbiz is a wrong choice of career.. And tht in no way means I condone the comments made but I do really believe tht in the profession tht u r in its a professional hazard...

And if ve a problem with people commenting on ur blog then stop blogging.. or moderate it like a lot others do.. In fact from what I ve read recently u don't even blog urself.. so whtz the point?!? Even the bollywood actors.. when they tweet do it themselves n not through someone else...

Exactly. Even I have noticed this censorship approach towards members and I think it's a bit far fetched on the part of mods. They need to relax and accept that people will come bursting with opinions. As you said, Geet forum is most active and thinking of it in this context, it is indeed a miniority of people that lose it in the posts!

But gagging people will only make matters worse. And I also feel that mods need to understand that criticism is natural and perfectly normal 😆 why are some behaving as if it is a stigma? Let it be and accept it. Even I am unhappy with GC's remarks and think that he should have chosen his words carefully. Already I can see myself losing interest in the show and to top that, the forum is becoming a police state 😆

Oh so now there are exceptional rules too? So if they are getting married then discussion is allowed, what if they are getting a divorce? Then is it not allowed because it gives them bad publicity?

What if they are getting engaged or having a civil marriage, then are we allowed to talk because we shall still be 'interfering' in their personal lives now right? Oh and we wouldn't want to be labelled 'abusers' again. Maybe you personally would, however I take it as an offence.

I have lost track of the hundreds of rules posted on this forum.

I still don;t get why this topic is called an 'appreciation' thread cos clearly many members do not appreciate Gurmeet Choudary at all. Just call it a discussion thread, it makes so much more sense and it'll be easier to get members to post here too. You think members who are angry at his blog will want to enter a topic that says 'appreciation' thread on it? I think not.
