Dev was actually married to NT and the only reason he had married Geet was to get her property. He had a one-night stand with Geet (after their fake marriage) which resulted in the pregnancy.
After that night, he abandoned Geet and went to Canada with NT.

I think he has already gone. In anycase, his holiday will not affect Geet' shooting, since they had a bank of episodes.
