TOI:Original Gangaa to return to the show as a new character

With 'Gangaa' set for a time leap, child artiste Ruhana Khanna, who played the youngGangaa earlier, will re-enter the show. This time around, she will play Aditi Sharma's (the grown-up Gangaa) daughter, Krishna. Says the child actor, "I can't express my happiness. It's a homecoming of sorts for me. The only change is that instead of being called Gangaa, I will now be called Krishna. The show is very close to my heart. I missed everyone on the set and it will be fun to shoot with them again."The daily soap, which launched in March 2015, is based on the lives of the widows of Varanasi. It features seasoned actors like Susmita Mukherjee, Hiten Tejwani, Gungun Uprari, Abhishek Tiwari and Nivedita Tiwari. Vishal Vashishtha of 'Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera' fame took from from child artiste Swar Hingonia to play the grown-up Sagar Chaturvedi.
