okie here is how i would do it..

i would turn on one of the switches and let the bulb heat up a bit. wait a while and then turn switch "A" off. now turn the middle switch "B" on and walk to the other room where the bulbs are. the one that is burning is switch "B" the bulb that is warm/hot is switch "A" and the cold bulb is Switch "C".

Halfway through the trip he wakes up as the bus bounces over some bad potholes. When he finally falls asleep again, the bus still has half the distance to go that it has already travelled. Fortunately, Mr. Wagle wakes up at the end of his trip.

What portion of the total trip did Mr. Wagle sleep?

Did he sleep for 2/3 of the trip???

The numbers are arranged in reverse alphabetical order. Right?

Next one: (Assume my answer is right)
How will you get 5 gallons of water with 4 gallon and 7 gallon bucket?

Hey.. No try for the distance puzzle? Let me wait for someone to answer.

yes arjun you are right.

here is the answer to your kostin

fill the four gallon container and empty it into the seven gallon container. fill it again and continue to pour into the seven gallon till that is full. you are now left with one gallon of water. empty the seven gallon container and pour this one gallon. refill the 4 gallon container and pur it into the seven gallon. you now have five gallons in the seven gallon container!!!

Anil Ambani has two cubes on his office desk. Every day he arranges both cubes so that the front faces show the current day of the month.

What numbers are on the faces of the cubes to allow this?

Note: You can't represent the day "7" with a single cube with a side that says 7 on it. You have to use both cubes all the time. So the 7th day would be "07".
