MATH TEASER

heres a math teaser u all shud know this lol

Mr. Macho ate 125 hot dogs over a five-day period. Each day he ate secen more hot dogs than on the previous day. How many hot dogs did he eat on the 1st day???

u need to write it in a sentence and show ur work!!!

answer is 11 if I have understood the question correctly.

assume he ate x pieces on day 1. Everyday he eats 7 more than the previous.

x+(x+7)+(x+14)+(x+21)+(x+28)+(x+35)=125
therefore x=11
