After marriage, Manasi has not found it tough to balance her personal and work life. "We are living in the modern age and it's not all that tough to strike a balance between work and home anymore. Both partners need to trust, respect and love each other and from there on it's a smooth sailing." One fine day, she thought it was the right time for her to get married and she went ahead with it.
Refusing to give any further details she says, "Now, no more questions on marriage."
On the sets of the serial 4, she is the only girl besides her hairdresser. She tells us excitedly, "I am a complete tomboy and with only guys around, we keep playing pranks on each other and have good fun." Many times she has even beaten up her co-actors on the sets. "This is the reason why just everyone loves to be on the sets of this serial," says Manasi.
Manasi was out of work after India Calling, but by choice. "For me, the script matters the most. I wanted to do something which nobody else had done. So, I waited for the right role to come my way. Many people thought I was being foolish but I think I made the right choice," she stresses.
When at home, she loves watching comedy shows on television. "Having a good laugh is important. I love watching shows like Friends and Seinfield. I think it is the best way to unwind after a hectic day of shooting." But Manasi feels there is a lack of good comedy shows on Indian television. "We have too much of emotional drama and very little comedy shows. But soap operas are a staple diet for the majority of viewers in India. They just cannot do without them."
