Hi Lilmizz_Rahela, nice topic … I love to cook & try new recipes ... I don't use cookery books for normal everyday cooking.. if I want to try something new, I search for the recipe and have a read through it .. I normally just use the recipes for a guideline.. I use the basics of the recipe but add in my extra's (flavours/seasoning/ingredients) and use my own estimates for the ingredients .. But for baking I normally follow the recipes more closely as correct amount of ingredients & baking temperature & time affect the outcome ..

A book or magazine is good if you like trying new things out. It might be hard to digest initially!!!!

i cook very often though mum doesnt let me get into the kitchen much..i knw how to cook but i hate cookery books..they really puzzle me..so i use my ideas n itz even better!

hi i am new and i have done food technology at school i know some bits of cooking i have baked brownies and i did use a recipe book that we got off the teacher at school

ive got a big word document on those recipes that were on it and they are mainly english food recipes
