Saawariya- MAKE IT TO THE OSCARS

ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHU ARE BUSY SCRUTINISING A PIECE OF ART CALLED SAAWARIYA WILL EAT THEIR WORDS WHEN IT WILL BE NOMINATED FOR THE ACADEMY AWARDS. iTS GOT THE ABSTRACTNESS OF THOUGHT AND UNIQUENESS WHICH NOT MANY FILMS HAVE. aLL THOSE PPL WHO LIKE IT ARE BEING SENT TO CLINICS FOR TREATMENT. SO WHAT WAS SLB THINKING WHILE MAKING THE MOVIE.GIVE THE MAN SOME RESPECT AND CREDIT. AGREED SAWARIYA IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. bUT AT LEAST TRY TO CROSS AND REACH OVER TO THE OTHER END OF THE SPECTRUM

Yeah........ give us a break. First of all who sent movie for the Oscar nominations from India is the frustrated bunch of people.(jury)

Of course if Eklavyaa can be nominated then this full loaded crap can be. So, thanks to people like your thinking ability Indian movie always remain far away from Oscar.

out of sheer curiosity - how many abstract movies have you even seen ? ... could you please name a few .... i'm so very tired of this so called pseudo-intellectual nonsense.... abstract is NOT equal to senseless .... all these ppl harping on about artsy/ abstract/ piognant/ theatrical cinema have probably never seen anything beyond a hrithik/ shahrukh or salman film.... gimme a break!

but yes, if anyone is truely a lover of this genre of film making, i'll be more than happy to hear you opinion and broaden my mind.

kudos to the ppl who like saawariya. cos those who have been able to appreciate Saawariya, have been able to appreciate OSO too.But Alas the converse is not true

👏👏👏Well said my dear , people nominating sawaariya kind of movies havent seen any other Genre of movies apart from love stories .

Common gimme a break how many more love stories will you guys supoort dont we already have a zillion of them ! Absolutely no creativity !! Lagaan maybe deserved in someway to be nominated . But as long as Bollywood doesnt not know to work beyond a love story filled with huge drapes of silk ,n huge sets , n outdoor shooting , we will never win n OSCAR .

u wanna know the way a short story should be handled? watch blue umbrella...
and u want class, watch dor, manoroma, namesake, blue umbrella, parzania, dharm etc...saawariya is not class...its just a whole lot of nonsense...
abstract?? now what is so abstract about this movie? what is so different about this movie that we havent already seen in many others? 😊

👏👏👏very well said.......I cant understand why some people call a movie as a rare piece of art & bla bla bla only bcoz of the movie is slow with blue lights & 10 songs😕........I am not telling that Sawariyaa is a boring bad movie😊.......It is a well made movie with a unreal lovestory blended with so called intellectual thought😉..........Have any of u watched any film of Satyajit Ray the only Oscar winning Indian director???......He never made such big budget movie neither any renowned producer helped him to make a movie but still he won the Oscar……..if possible watch any of his movie u will find how a Oscar winning movie should be…….& pls don't overestimate sawariyaa 😊

yes I guess the indian directors need to stop thinking only of big budget ESPECIALLY SLB . He even killed the story of black with huge sets n theatrical performance . so many low budget movies these days are so much better like Manorama six feet under , Johny gaddar ,kosla ka gosla etc etc . they may not be the best but they are definilty BETTER !
The problem is the money n resources are all with the wrong guys who cant think beyond a love story like KJ , Farah , SLB ,david dhawan etc etc
