Yeah, it was a great movie overall-although there could have been a little more comedy i think

I saw that, shobana is so awesome(though i can follow malayalam a bit, i know tamil), vidya is no where near her, but I am sure she is the right actress in Hindi, with all the right expressions. I have seen this movie in tamil, which was more like comical movie, but jyothika ruled too , but ofcourse the original is original

But I think it's not fair to compare Vidya's performance with Shobhana's. Vidya herself had said a number of times that she will consider herslef to be successful if she can do even 5 % of what Shobhana had done.

So let's be fair to both of them. 😊

i finally watched the movie yesterday night... which definately was not a good idea 😆 😆

the movie was absolutely rocking! 👏 i especially loved akki's performance and vidya's during the 2nd half 😃 😃
as far i saw the teasers and promos on tv, they looked morely of comedy but after watching the movie there is alot of thriller/suspense and minimum comedy... but anyways still gr8 😉
when hearing the ghost voice of manjulika and also at the climax, it totally gave me shivers and really frightening that i couldnt get no sleep last night 😆
i love the bengali song "aami je tomar"... being a bengali for the first time i was able to understand the whole translation 😆
and seeing vidya's sudden transformation into someone else really freaked me out

as for akki... he has a gr8 comic timing as always, and seeing him in a new, different avatar is also a treat to watch 😃 his entry scene was hilarious when he thought all of shiney's family one-by-one where mad and especially when he scares away the aunt 🤣

overall i rate it 10/10!!! 😃 😃 😃

I had no intention of belittling Vidyaji, Ofcourse she rules, but for me whatever I have seen first always stands out and the comparision is natural.

Sangi, I was not comparing actors but the scene😊. The treatment given to both. I actually think that Vidya did a fabulous role. I can't think fo anyone who can do justice to sucha role. The role required a tall girl with charming Indian look.
