Okay, so I don't remember the Mediator scene perfectly, and if I am wrong, just correct me, I'll edit it.
Part 19: Kripa entered the living room and saw her father sitting in a formal suit on the couch. He was busy watching Meghna and Roshan play "Need for Speed" on the Play Station. She smiled and sat down beside him. He turned to her, wrapping an arm around her. He cocked an eyebrow teasingly at the ring in her finger, and then kissed it. "You knew all about this didn't you?", she asked her father annoyed. Prem smiled. "We all did.", he replied casually. Kripa shook her head angrily, and then en seconds later, smiled slightly blushing.
Kripa rested her head against his chest. "Dad? What's going on?", she asked, reffering to the noise being made downstairs. "Well, we are going to have an official dinner, and then me, Dilip and Naina will decide the date of the official engagement." Prem answered. Kripa nodded and smiled.
Prem excused himself as his self phone rang. And right at that moment, Naina came outside from a room in a lovely golden sari. She smiled at Kripa, as Kripa stood up when she saw Naina coming. "Would you like to join me in the kitchen?", Naina asked, noticing Kripa's boredom. Kripa smiled and nodded.

Kripa came out of the bathroom, drying her wet hair. Feeling tried, sleepy and restless, she didn't want to go to press conference. Today was the press conference in which Angad and Kripa will announce their soon-to-take-place engagement.
Even though, everyone was very helpful, she felt like she needed a little more time. In exactly a week, she would be engaged to Angad, her stranger. She smiled at the thought and sat down on the bed, still drying her hair with the white towel. Being engaged to Angad, being married to Angad, was her dream. She could give everything she had to fulfill it. But she also knew, she would miss her family. Her brothers, her father, Jasmeet aunty , Rajeev uncle. She sighed, a little upset about leaving them, but the thought of staying with Angad as his wife, overwhelmed the sadness.
It was when she got up to comb her hair, that she noticed a red and white card kept on her desk. She picked it up, and took out the red rose, peeking out of it. She smiled and touched the petals, thinking of Angad, she blushed and then brought the rose closer to her nose, smelling it. She sighed again, remembering the way Angad smelled. Shaking her head, she looked at the simple yet beautiful card.
She opened the card and read the lines written on it.
"Dear Kripa,
Call me...
Your's forever,
Angad."A little confused Kripa rolled her eyes, and called Angad.
"Hey stranger.", Kripa voiced into the speaker.
"Hey gorgeous. Whats up?", She heard him say. His voice like wine in her ears.
"Shouldn't I be asking that question?",Kripa said. "Why did you want me to call you?".
"Can't I hear your voice?", Angad pretended to be offended.
"Well, you can but normally you don't sneak a card upto my room, with "call me" written on it. Hey, how did you even do that?", Kripa voiced, a little curious.
"I have my ways.", Angad said mysteriously.
"Of course.", Kripa replied rolling her eyes, "Who was it Roshan or Prithvi?". "You there?", she asked when he didn't reply.
"Angad?", she said again when no reply came. Shaking her head, she turned around murmuring a "crazy" while staring at the phone. Surprisingly, she bumped into someone only after two steps. She looked upto see Angad grinning childishly.
"Hey.", He said wrapping his arms around her waist, and pulling her closer. "Angad!", Kripa exclaimed, "what are you doing?". "I came to drop off the card", he said smirking.
"Angad, get out! If Jasmeet aunty sees you here alone with me, you'll be in trouble.", Kripa said pushing him towards the door. He wrinkled his nose. "I don't believe in these sort of "no seeing the bride before the marriage" stuff. Besides, we aren't engaged yet, we are simply dating right now.", Angad spoke.
"Well, Jasmeet aunty believes in it. She is like a mother and it would hurt her feelings if she finds you sneaking into my room like this. Now leave before you get in trouble!",Kripa said in a low voice. "I don't mind. You're worth the trouble,"Angad said pulling her towards him again. "Angad, please. Someone's going to catch us.", Kripa pleaded. Angad rolled his eyes, and kissed her cheeks, sending currents down her spine. Kripa blushed and dug her face into his chest while Angad hid his face in her neck. Right at that moment, the door opened. Kripa quickly pushed Angad away.
"I'm sorry for not knocking dear, but this is really impor-", Naina turned around and paused, when she saw Angad in the room with Kripa.
"Angad!", "Ma!", Angad and Naina exclaimed in a unison. Her hands on her waist, Naina asked her son, "what are you doing here?".
Unable to come up with a come back, Angad repeated Naina's words. "What are you doing here?".
Naina gave him a stern look. "I am here to talk to Kripa about the conference. And I thought I told you to sit downstairs with Prithvi.".
"I know Mom, and FYI (for your information), I was here to talk to Kripa too.", Angad spoke in a matter-of-factly way. Naina rolled her eyes. "Angad leave now!", she pitched.
"Fine, I'm leaving.", he marched towards the door. "Have fun without me.", He gave Kripa a taunting smile, before opening the door, and walking out of it.

Angad and Kripa sat on the beach, watching the water sparkle like diamonds under the sun. It was sunny that day, but the sun wasn't bothering either of them. After the press conference, Angad had managed to convince everyone to let him spend some time alone with Kripa, and now they were on the beach.
Her head against Angad's chest, Kripa felt she could listen to his heart beats all her life, as he held her protectively in his strong arms. "Kripa,", Angad's voice made her open her eyes. "Hmmmm..?", she simply responded, not finding her voice, overwhelmed by the beauty of the moment. "We have a lot to talk about.", he said.
Kripa looked up at him. There was something in his eyes, she couldn't exactly point out. Was it fear or guilt? What did he want to talk about? Was there something about him that she didn't know?
She saw herself staring at him when his gray eyes reflected her image. She nodded her head in agreement. They did have a lot to talk about. Kripa had to tell him about the very first encounter she had with him, at the launch of his sports kit.
She pulled away from him, but still held his hand. The only noises now were of the wind and the waves, because they both were quiet. The silence wasn't awkward, but it scary. The hair on Kripa's nape stood up in fear. She silently prayed that nothing would change after she told him the truth.
Uncontrollably, Kripa's stomach growled. She looked down at it with a blank expression, and then back at Angad with a cheesy grin. Angad rolled his tongue inside his mouth, suppressing the urge to kiss her, and then smirked. "How about we eat first?", he suggested sarcastically. Kripa blushed and shrugged. "I don't mind.", she chuckled.
He turned to his right and took out to two parcels of noodles, they had picked up on their way. He handed one to Kripa, and then gave her the chopsticks. "These aren't forks?", Kripa said shocked. "No. These are called chopsticks, genius.", Angad said, enjoying her expressions, yet nevertheless confused. Of course she would know what chopsticks were, but then why was she reacting so weirdly?
"I know what they are, but I won't eat with them. I want a fork.", She said throwing away the chopsticks. "Hey! Why did you throw them away?", Angad whined, his mouth full of noodles. "Because if I won't eat with them, what good are they!",she replied. " Where do I get you fork from, now? Why don't you want to eat with chopsticks?", he asked her,"Is it because you don't know how to? I can teach you then, really it's no big. See, you hold one of them like a pen, while the other-", Angad stopped when Kripa held the hand he was demonstrating with. "I know how to eat with chopsticks Angad, I just don't want to.", she explained. "Why not?", Angad pressed further. "Because, they freak me out.", Kripa said in a low tone. "What?", Angad chuckled feeling a bit confused. When Kripa didn't answer him, he kept his parcel and chopsticks between his thighs, and turned towards her completely. "Why?", he asked,"why do they freak you out?". "It's really silly.", Kripa shrugged, "never mind." . "No, come on tell me.", Angad insisted looking at her. She looked beautiful, her cheeks slightly red, her eyes lowered as she bit her lower lip.
"Okay, so this one time,", Kripa said,suddenly in a energetic tone, getting on both her knees, so that her face was an inch or two above Angad's, " I was reading this book by Meg Cabot. It called The Mediator, right. The protagonist, Suze, she is a girl who helps out the dead.So what happens is that in one of it's book, Suze, she goes to this person by accident because she misunderstands what the ghost of this lady is trying to tell her. So alot of things happen right, but I'll tell you the reason I am telling you about this. So the suze girl, she gets to know that person who she meets by accident, turns out to be a vampire or maybe he is just pretending to be one, but anyways, so he kidnaps her and take her to this place, right. And he is moving towards her with these fangs in his mouth, so what Suze does is she takes a pencil and stabs him, with it-". "What?", Angad asked fascinated. "Yeah, she stabs him with a pencil, and he faints. So she runs away.", Kripa finished. Angad nodded, his mind browsing through everything Kripa just told him.
"Wait. So how is this related to chopsticks?", he asked confused. "Well, I figured if you can stab someone with a pencil, you can do it with chopsticks too. Besides, ever since I was a little girl, I used to think someone would take out my eyes with a pair of chopsticks one day. I never really liked chopsticks, the scene from the book just fueled my dislike.... and fear to some extent.", Kripa answered him. "But, you are okay with pencils, right? then why not chopsticks?", Angad inquired. "I dont know, it's just, you know, different with pencils.", She shrugged, giving out a small laugh. "Our kids will be adorable.", Angad said staring at Kripa affectionately. Kripa blushed, and then brought her legs against her chest, and keeping her head on her knees, she stared back at him, lost in his eyes. Angad smiled at her, and then widening his eyes in a scary way, took his chopsticks and moved them towards her constantly, clicking them together. Kripa sat up straight, and then took the chopsticks form his hand quickly, broking both of them into two. Angad stared at the four even pieces of wood on the sand between him and Kripa, as Kripa got up to run. But Angad quickly caught her and pulled her down into his lap. "You foolish girl. Now how I am supposed to eat?", He said trapping her. "Aww, don't worry, I'll buy you a fork, something you obviously couldn't afford.", Kripa teased him. He pulled her closer and nuzzled her cheek with his nose.
Kripa laughed as Angad smiled at her and pulled her closer to him, kissing her cheeks. By the time, they both were intimated by the moment and Angad's anxious lips found Kripa's soft one's, Angad's phone rang. "Hello?", He answered annoyed. "Bhai? Am I disturbing you?", Meghna said naughtily. "What is it, Meghna?", he replied, watching Kripa eat her noodles with her hands. He did the same, shifting his cell onto his left hand. "Me and Ma are at Kripa's house right now. Ma's telling both of you to come quick because Kripa's designer will be here any minute to take her measurements. Ma, Jasmeet aunty, and Kripa also need to decide the design of the outfits with her.",Meghan spoke quickly. "Can't it wait?", Angad moaned. "Bhai! You are getting engaged next week, there is so much to do, come quick.", Meghna said a little annoyed. "Fine, we are coming!", Angad said. He cut the phone, and stood up. Kripa looked up at him, noddles sticking out of her mouth. "Let's go, Kripa. You have to give measurements.", Angad said in a tired tone. Kripa got up, as Angad finished off his noodles. "Need a tissue?", Kripa asked looking at his dirty hand. "Yeah.", Angad said. "Aww.. too bad I ain't got one.", Kripa sighed dramatically. "No problem.",Angad shrugged, and surprising Kripa wiped his hands off her sleeves, staining them. Kripa ran after him, caught his shirt from the back, wiping her hands off of them. They both went to Kripa's house laughing, fighting, teasing.
Everything was just perfect.
