RECAP: "Calm down…we will get even with the girls," Armaan responded. "Bohot haasi are hi thi na inko, aab hum inko dikhaenge ke hum kya kar sakte hain," Armaan said confidently with a smile on his face. "We will surely get our revenge from the girls."
"Inko hum dikhayege keh inka palla kis ladkon se para hai…hum bhi kisi se kum nahin hai," said Armaan with his wicked smile.
Armaan and Rahul both looked at each other and smiled. They were going to get the girls good.
*********
Armaan and Rahul signaled one of the waiters , who was serving ladoos and mithai to the guests, to come to them. Armaan got the box of sugar- free mithai, which he made Rahul go and buy from the store at the corner, and put it on the tray which the waiter was holding. He instructed the waiter. "Sunno, yeh mithai udar jo ladkiyan khari hain, unko dedo," Armaan said pointing towards the girls with a mischevious smile on his face.
The waiter did as he was instructed to do so. Riddhima and Muskaan were in deep conversation with some other girls—they were enjoying themselves when the waiter comes to them and serves them. "Man you missed out, humne ladkon ka aisa haalat kar diya tha ke…" Riddhima said but was interrupted by the waiter. Riddhima happily picked up a mithai and Muskaan did the same and thanked him.
Riddhima and Muskaan, looking at the delicious piece of mithai, took a big bite and began to chew. Their happy faces suddenly changed to a confused expression as they continued chewing and then to a disgusted expression as they spat out the mithai from their mouths. They realized that something was missing in the mithai and it was SUGAR.
Armaan and Rahul burst into a laughter riot. Riddhima and Muskaan turned around with an annoyed look on their faces and looked at them laughing uncontrollably. They understood that they had done all of this just to get even.
"K..kai…kaisa laga meetha," Armaan said unable to control his laughter. Armaan and Rahul laughed more. Riddhima's anger was boiling. "Oh im sorry, mein to bhool hi gaya keh mithai mein to meetha tha hi nahi," Armaan said with the mischevious smirk on his face now that he had managed to control his laughter. "Waise tum logon ko zyaada meetha khana bhi nahin chahiye," Rahul said as Riddhima and Muskaan stared at him.
"Kyun, khaankajhoore, tu kaun hai hume kehne wala keh hum meetha nahin ka sakte hain," Muskaan said in anger. Rahul fumbled for words. He was lost looking in Muskaan's brown eyes which were encircled with heavy kajal. He quickly came out of his thoughts remembering that they were getting even with the girls.
"Kyun..Kyun ki," Rahul stammered. "Kyun ki, aaj kal ladke na zara dekh kar shaadi kar rahe hain…zyaada meetha khao ge to mote ho jayo ge," Armaan interrupted. "Haan," Rahul said in agreement to Armaan. "Aur yeh nahi ho keh ladkon ki kaami par jaye,"Armaan finished off saying.
"Tum na…," Riddhima said in annoyance. "Tumhe humari phikar karni ki zarrorat nahi hai," Riddhima said while pointing her finger out at him, "tum apni phikaar karo to zyaada acha hoga." With saying that, she and Muskaan both left them.
Armaan chuckled to himself. Although Riddhima had gotten them good with the papad and the cold drink trick, he had no regrets. If the girls hadn't done that, then they wouldn't have gotten them back with the mithai, and Armaan would have missed the chance to see her annoyed. Who gusse mein bhi kitni khoobsurat lagti hai...sigh
"Yeh to sirf plan ka ek phase tha, abhi dusra phase baki hai," Rahul said, bringing Armaan out of his thoughts. "Tune sunna na joh mene kaha," Rahul asked looking at Armaan confused expression. "ha….Haaann..meine sunna," Armaan affirmed.
Riddhima on the other side, was feeling the same way. Mujhe kya saach much mein khusi mil rahi hai Armaan ko irritate karne mein …Jo bhi ho, magar Armaan bohot cute lag raha tha jab humne uspe who chaal chaali thi…. Riddhima realized what she thought and shook off all her thoughts.
"Riddhima Jee," said a waiter.
"Haan bole," Riddhima said as she turned to face him.
"Wo aapko koi bula raha hai outhouse mein," the waiter said and went off.
Riddhima thought to herself. Is waqt mujhe kaun bula raha hai…wo bhi outhouse mein? . Riddhima decided to check it out so she went outside and walked on the pebbled walkway towards the outhouse. She continued thinking of why someone would call her to the outhouse in the midst of a wedding. Ho sakta hai keh koi kaam ho she thought to herself.
She opened the door slowly. The door creaked a little as it opened. Riddhima went in and saw nothing but darkness in the outhouse. The only source of light was the brightness of the moon which was peering in through the light curtains of the window. The door quickly closed shut as Riddhima went in. Riddhima got startled and looked back.
"Hello….Hello…koi hai idhaar," she yelled out softly. No one answered back. Riddhima decided to switch on the lights of the outhouse, however, they didn't turn on. "Uffo yeh lights bhi na," she said irritatedly. She stepped further in the outhouse trying to see if anyone was there. Riddhima was slightly getting scared. "Kkk—kkoi mujhe idhaar kyun bulaye ga jab koi hai nahi idhaar," she stammered slowly. Riddhima heard noises from the window as if someone was banging on them. Riddhima got startled by the loud noise and tripped on an object as she screamed. "Y—yeh….yeh mein kis musibaat mein paas gayi," she said to herself slowly. She picked herself up and decided to leave right away. Someone indeed was playing a very bad trick on her. Just as she was about to make her way towards the door, her eyes fell upon a discrete repulsive creature. Her eyes opened wide in shock as she screamed realizing she just saw a rat. "AAHHHHH," she continously yelled and ran towards the door.
As she made her way to leave, the door flung open and she saw a shadow-like figure standing there. The person yelled her name out, "RIDDHIMA…ARE YOU OK?." She, being totally frightened with all the events that took place, ran and flung her arms around the person's neck without even seeing who it was. She was frightened completely and needed someone to comfort her for a while. Her arms encircled the person's neck really tightly. The man was surprised to see her this scared. Riddhima clutched onto the man tightly while she was breathing heavily. The man tried to comfort her and put his arms around her skinny body. The man was none other than Armaan.
Armaan was lost in his own world seeing her hug him so passionately. Riddhima had her head on his chest and had her eyes closed. She was breathing heavily still and it sent tingles down Armaan's spine. Riddhima had slight traces of sweat on her forehead. Armaan put his hand on her hair and ran his fingers through her hair in attempt to comfort her. "Riddhima..Riddhima…are you okay," he muttered sofly. Riddhima slowly opened her eyes and moved her head off from his chest and saw Armaan standing in front of her. They were standing close to one another—there was a small tiny gap between them. They looked deeply into each others eyes for a while as if they both were lost in a sea of love, and then Riddhima happened to glance that she had her arms around his neck and so she quickly pulled them away. Armaan, too, took his hands off her back. "Tum theek to ho na," he asked her. "H..ha…haan mein theek hoon," she said as she wiped the sweat on her forehead with her sari pallu. "Kya hua tha," Armaan asked with concern as he looked into her worried filled eyes. "Woh..woh…I saw a rat and hence I screamed," she said, looking into his eyes.
Just then, Rahul and some guys joined them and were laughing. Riddhima was shocked.
Yes, this was all a plan by the boys, however, the plan was just to scare Riddhima by banging on the windows. Armaan was going to open the door and scare her when Rahul gave him the signal, however, when he heard Riddhima scream continously, he became worried and ran in without giving the plan a thought just to see if Riddhima was ok.
Riddhima understood that this was all a prank and was fuming with anger.
"ACHA, TO YEH SAB TUM LOGON KI CHAAL THI," she said. "AB MUJHE SAB SAMAJH AGAYA HAI…Mein bhi kitni bewakoof thi keh yahaan outhouse agayi," she yelled out loud to them.
"Riddhima, haan mein manta hoon keh humne yeh chaal chaali, but Riddhima try to understand that it was only a joke…we were just trying to get even with you girls," he said in an apologetic tone.
"Yes, Riddhima…it was only a joke," Rahul agreed.
Riddhima sensed the guilt in both Armaan and Rahul's voice. She thought in her mind Sahi to keh raha hai Armaan…akhir yeh khel hum ladkiyon ne to shuru kiya tha
She straightened her voice, "Sahi hai…LEKIN hum ab yeh khel nahi khelenge," she said.
"We're even now," Riddhima added as she brought her hand forward to shake. "Agreed," Armaan said as he shook his hand with Riddhima's. They both kept on swinging each others hands up and down as they were busy looking at each other. Her innocence and charm is going to kill me Armaan thought in his mind. Rahul coughed and brought them out of their worlds. They were startled and immediately pulled their hands away from the shake. Riddhima went shy and turned around as fast as she could and ran towards home. She didn't want to turn red in front of the two guys. Armaan stared at her leave admiringly.
"Umm..Armaan tu theek to hain na," Rahul asked.
"Haan …Haan mein theek hoon…ab chal the hain," he added as he started making his way back to the Gupta residence.
As they made their way back to the Gupta residence, Rahul again asked him if he was ok.
Something didn't seem right to him…Armaan was acting strange after the outhouse incident with Riddhima.
"Haan yaar mein theek hoon..tu chinta maat kar," Armaan said reassuringly.
"Whatever you say Armaan," Rahul said.
***************
Riddhima and Muskaan brought Anjali down for the wedding rituals. Atul was sitting in the mandap, while Armaan and Rahul were smiling standing around the mandap. Anjali looked stunning. Riddhima and Muskaan helped Anjali sit beside Atul. The pundit said the chants and Atul and Anjali took their saat pheres as everyone else smiled and threw flowers at them. Armaan was throwing flowers at Atul and Anjali, but his eyes were focused on Riddhima's smiling face, who was standing opposite his side. Riddhima, while throwing flowers at Atul and Anjali, glanced at Armaan and saw him staring at her. Riddhima became nervous and lowered her gaze as she smiled. Meri nazrein aise kyun jhuk rahi hain... The pheres were over and Anjali and Atul took blessings from the elders. Armaan and Rahul congratulated the couple. Riddhima took the couple and made them sit down on the couch. The guests came one by one and congratulated them.
You can imagine the song 'Ankhon ki Gustakiyaan' going on in the background as Armaan admires Riddhima and follows her around.
Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan Maaf Hon(Repeat)
Ek Tuk Tumhe Dekhtein Hain,
Jo Baat Kehna Chahe Zubaan, Tumse Ye Woh Kehtein Hain,
Armaan stares lovingly at an estatic Riddhima as she converses with her jiju and her sister.
Aankhon Ki Sharmo Haya Maaf Ho,
Tumhe Dekh Ke Jhukti Hain, Uthi Aankhen Jo Baat Na Keh Saki
Jhuki Aankhen Woh Kehteein Hain,
Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan Maaf Hon
Riddhima notices him staring at her and she gets up and passes by Armaan and suddenly stops as a force pulls her back slightly. She closes her eyes and hesitantly turns her head to look back…her heart is beating erratically and rather fast. She turns and sees her sari pallu stuck on Armaan's kurta sleeve. Armaan is staring at her full of love in his eyes. She nervously comes forward towards Armaan and hesistantly touches his sleeve trying to take her pallu off, avoiding looking at Armaan in the eye. Armaan wants time to stop just right there…he wants to savour this beautiful moment… Armaan looks at her trying and takes his hand and pulls the pallu off his sleeve. Riddhima brings her face up and looks deep into his eyes.
Although she knew their eyes were speaking volumes to each other and she didn't need to say thanks, but she felt right to do so. "Thanks,"she said and walked away from that awkward situation.
Armaan comes toward newly wedded couple, who was busy conversing with some guests, and leans down to grab Atul's shoes. He takes Atul's shoes as Rahul was on lookout, making sure that no one sees Armaan stealing the shoes. He hides it in his light green stole and runs off and hides them in a basket full of flowers. Armaan comes back to the couple, and finds Riddhima and Muskaan staring at him intensely.
"Kya," Armaan asks with a confused expression on his face.
"Seedhe baat batao…tumne jhoote kahan rakhe hain," Riddhima asks with arrongance. After all, it was their right to steal shoes.
"M-MM..mujhse kyun pooch rahi ho," Armaan mutters while looking here and there.
"To tum nahi batao ge…koi baat nahi, hum khud hi doondlenge," Riddhima says with arrongance on the rise again and leaves.
Armaan starts singing that song from Hum Aapke Hai Koun…
Riddhima turns around with a smirk on her face as he starts singing.
You all can sort of imagine them dancing like Salman and Madhuri in the original song

Dulhe Ki Saliyon, O Hare Dupatte Waliyon
Joote De Do, Paise Le Lo
Joote Do Do, Paise Le Lo...
Hey-Hey...Hey-Hey...Hey-Hey
Dulhan Ke Devar, Tum Dikhlao Na Yuh Tevar
Paise De Do, Joote Le Lo
Paise De Do, Joote Le Lo...
Joote Do...Paise Lo
Hey-Hey
Hey-Hey
At the end of the song, Riddhima finds the shoes in the basket and runs away outside, Armaan runs behind her. Riddhima runs out the back door and along the boundary of their pool, Armaan follows her there. There playing the cat and mouse game when suddenly Riddhima trips, as she was wearing heels, and is about to fall into the pool so she screams, but suddenly Armaan grabs her arm and pulls her to him fastly. Her body bumps against his chest and she holds on to him tightly. She brings her face up and looks into his eyes as her heart was racing like a speed jet. She finds him staring at her. She let go of him abruptly and turned around, as she was feeling awkward.
Asmani Rang Ho—playing in background.
"Yeh…yeh tum k-kkkkya kar rahe ho," she hesitantly said as she closed her eyes, feeling his fingers on her back.
Armaan swayed his fingers on the bare portion of her back moving upwards. Riddhima was breathing heavily; her heart was beating so fast that it was becoming impossible for her to speak.
Armaan reached for the untied dori of her sari blouse and tied it slowly while he enjoyed the fact that Riddhima was being affected by his charm. Her nervousness on him touching her was very evident as she was breathing fast and her hands were shaking. Armaan's body was pressed against hers as he tied the dori. He enjoyed feeling the warmth of her body. As Armaan finished tying the dori, she turned around.
"Who…who tumhari sari ki dori khul gayi thi..isiliye…who main…." he was interrupted by Riddhima.
"Tha…Thanks once again," she stated hesitantly as she looked into his eyes and lowered her gaze.
Armaan gave his killing smile to her. He leant down and grabbed the shoes that fell from her hand as she bumped into him. Riddhima stared at him alarmed as he brought her hands forward and handed the shoes to her. She was confused. Armaan mujhe itni asaani she jhoote de raha hai .
Just them Muskaan comes and found the shoes in Riddhima's hand. "YAY, tune to jhoote cheen liye in ladko se," Muskaan said estaticly. "Hhh…haaan," Riddhima stuttered while Muskaan took her in the house as Armaan looked at her leave. Armaan took a deep breath and stared at the night sky.. Mujhe sach much mein pyaar ho raha hai kya? Who mere dil aur dimaag se kyun nahi nikhal rahi?
He joined everyone inside as Atul was paying up the girls for the shoes. He felt happy to see Riddhima jumping with joy. And that's how the wedding day slowly came to an end. Anjali's bidaai was over and she left with Atul to her new home. Rahul, Muskaan, and Armaan, and Riddhima also went to Atul's house for the "ghar pravesh."
