Spring Fling Contest - LAST DAY! =]

Having fun? It's almost summer man, time to have a blast! =D

We all know I don't like to stall much, and so...

I'll try not to. ;]

The weather is turning nice, the flowers are ready to bloom again, and rain showers have begun.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, it's SPRING!

The amazing rainy weather is back!

And so in honor of Spring we will have a "Spring Fling" Writing Contest. (It's a writing contest for this is, of course,the FF section!)

If you're still reading this, it means you're interested, which is great! The more entries the better. It'd be so much to have so much to read, don't you think?

So calling all writers & readers! Even if you've never written before, give it a try, it'll be worth it! And voting will be anonymous!

So I will jump to the contest rules/topic etc.

The theme for the contest, as I think I already mentioned, is "Spring Fling". Spring fling means several things to different people. Some dances at schools etc. are called Spring Fling or it could also be a little fling during spring. However you interpret it, the theme spring fling has to be incorporated in the story!

Now when I say that, it doesn't mean you are just referring to something like that. The setting of the story can be anywhere but you have to just make it so the season is spring.

Official Rules:

• This is a one-shot (one chapter) story. Minimum- A page. Maximum accepted - 5 pages, 12pt Times New Roman, single spaced.
• Story must have a Spring setting (the setting can be at any point in the story. i.e- current track or flashback - either can have spring in it.)
• Story must include the following words:
• Spring
• Fling
• Flowers
• Showers
• Green
• All entries must follow the I-F COC & FF Rules & Regulations
  
• Maximum two entries can be submitted by each participant
• The story must be appropriate for readers 12 + (Which is also required according to FF Section Rules)
• Express your creativity through your entry - don't plagarize
• The entries could be of any genre
• Do NOT use MID's to send entries.
  
• Participant may not advertise their FF in anyways
• All entries must be PM'ed to Dark Love by April 26^th 2008. You have 3 weeks/21 days!
