At night when both went into their room. Ruhi was searched for something and Nivas was looking at her. He too searched something in his cupboard. He removed a pen which had a heart shape diamond studded on the cap. Ruhi took out a Pista colour salwar kammeez wrapped in butter paper which had a lot of zari work. Ruhi said, ' Nivas the zari from gold has turned to copper' she suddenly felt immense pain in her chest and quickly sat down on the bed. Nivas watched her than looked at his pen and said but my pen with diamonds is intact he showed her. Ruhi saw and started crying Nivas went towards her and took her close he tried to comfort her knowing what was going in her mind.
Ruhi: Nivas remember we had the ritual of gifting our better half on the first night. U gave me this dress which was large excel size and u felt so bad and told me u will exchange it. I had said then with a lot of shyness that when I become fat I will , U asked me when…and I had with love told u that when I become pregnant I will wear it….not to exchange..i will treasure it till than.
Nivas: Ya, it was so innocent and sweet… It was the most beautiful time in our marriage. When u gave me the pen with that diamond studded heart I was so shocked, it's a rare one and am surely so costly and u knew I was fascinated with pen collection , I wasn't able to thank u and just kept kissing the pen….and u were laughing…and I told..Oh I actually meant to kiss u…
(Nivas was in all smile telling the fond memory)
Ruhi: But my gift, the zari gold work has turned looking copper….u know…now…
Nivas: why r u so sad…time has passed and materials do fade..
U know it urself, as u work in garment factory.
Ruhi: I know….time…that's what making me insecure Nivas…. Time is passing by…at that time I said I will wear it when I get pregnant u had said u will also use this pen to write the name of our baby..when I get pregnant….but years have passed everything is fading…our hopes as well…my age my physical ability as well….like the zari in the dress…my age is moving..and with it..the time for menopause also coming near…
(she cried while NIvas realized what she meant, he kissed her and told her , nothing means more than her. They can adopt a child any day and not to worry abt it again)
Ruhi asked him: As Maa said I don't do pooja everyday, the Krishna snap wasn't there….r these reasons God not listening to our prayers…did I go wrong somewhere…
Nivas: Oh u heard all that ..i thought u didn't
Ruhi: I did but u didn't say a word..may be u also feel I…I
Nivas: Ruhi, I slept reading the book when Maa told u were not there around…I always make sure u r not blamed for this.
Ruhi: U too want to be a father…u miss, u feel hurt…..Nivas tell na..its been so long we haven't shared our pain..
Nivas: Ya, I want to become, but…….nothing is there in our hands.I was thinking of names for my new business at that time I suddenly started looking out for baby names as well..without realizing I made a list of my fav names …when my friend Sagar said what r u doing , I realized in what dream world I was….It hurt so much…
Ruhi: Ur own business ya, what name u gave?
Nivas: That's all over. Sagar leaked everything and join hands with someone else. Business proposal is ruined.
Ruhi: Sagar did this! U didn't share this with me..
Nivas: I was upset about this only on that day, but U n Maa were fighting abt the pooja…so..(he had a bit of anger on his face)
Ruhi : Am sorry, Maa says is right I am living in my own world….Oh that Sagar, I think u should not be upset any more…just Thank God u got to know before the business started , if he was partner and than u knew his real truth u would have lost loads of money along with ur trust...
Nivas looked at her, what she said was so true he was thinking abt his loss of ideas , but now actually if this had been known after the business had started off Nivas would have suffered great financial losses as well. Nivas went close to Ruhi and kissed her again and hugged her. Ruhi too cuddled herself in his arms and both went to sleep.

Alarm rang at 4:30am and Ruhi was sleeping, Nivas was about to switch it off than realized today is the pooja and tickled Ruhi to get up soon. Ruhi rushed into the bathroom Nivas ironed her sari and Ruhi quickly wore the Sari..while Nivas took shower. Ruhi was all done and was wearing her bangles, Nivas came out of the bathroom in a towel looked at her..and screamed.. "What have u made of urself?" Ruhi said, "why anything missing?" U think women dress up like this for pooja? u should know our Indian culture ,Ruhi looked in the mirror she found everything alright.
Nivas: Ruhi, u looking so hot and sexy, I hope I can concentrate in the pooja…now am so tensed… (He winkled)
Ruhi just smiled and said… "Thanks! I always look HOT and sexy, it's just that u never noticed. She left the room but was blushing with those words.
The pooja began and Nivas and Ruhi sat together and performed the pooja .Nivas and Ruhi felt a great satisfaction in performing the pooja and concentrating their focus and thinking into the spiritual self. Looking at each other as if they are in a promise.
Ruhi after the lunch cleared the messes in the hall room while Maa was taking a nap. Nivas realizing it came back and tried to help her. Ruhi smiled and both cleared everything and went to rest. Both felt really nice to be together and share the work.
