AWW that was sucha cute part!! prateek called her mom!! 😃 ! n kripa was soo excited.. mothers instinct how soo cute! ughh stupid rahul had to come along.. was a freakin *** i cant believe he was trying to force poor kripa/tanya into a relationship.. how inconsiderate of him, all he cared about his himself!! n omg angad asked her to marry him!! awww!! i bet she saying no because shes noes she married and probably still have hope to get her memory back!! i think nows the time for angad to tell her that hes her angad and that shes his kripa n that he loves her!! but i understand him not wanting to put her life in danger!! n*e wayz awesome part!! hope u can continue soon! 👏 😃

Part 71:

Tanya: Im sorry…I Cant.

Angad's mind went back into the past when Kripa had acted in such a way when he confessed his love to her. She was doing it again. Tanya turned around to escape his eyes and to hide her tears from him. He got up and placed a hand on her shoulder.

Angad: but Tanya you just..

Tanya: please Angad…try and understand…whatever you heard is absolutely true…but I cant marry you.

Mishti: why?

Both Angad and Tanya turned around to see Mishti standing at the door. Angad gestured her to stay quiet but she wasn't going to. She approached Tanya with her arms crossed.

Mishti: Angad…can you leave us alone for a bit?

Angad: mishti don't worry about it….

Mishti(shot him a glare): Angad…will you please leave us alone for a bit?

Angad sighed. He knew she wasn't going to give up. Yes Mishti was a great doctor but she was a better friend. And now that she knew both her friends were hurting, she was going to make everything workout between the two. It would be good for him as he will get her wife back as a wife, not just a friend. But he didn't want to force Tanya with everything. Things would have to happen nice and smoothly with her. Once Angad had left the two alone, mishti wiped off the angry face she had put on.

Mishti(calmly): Tanya…whats the matter? You love him don't you?

Tanya: I do…

Mishti: then why cant marry him?

Tanya: Mishti…you're asking me this?? You know everything…even then?

Mishti: yea I agree that you're already married but Tanya…your husband isn't even with you!(she crosses her fingers)…he probably thinks your dead by now…otherwise he would try to look for you no?

Tanya: I know that mishti…and im not refusing to marry Angad because im already married…its..

Mishti: the fact that he is married?

Tanya: no mishti! Even I know about his wife…the reason is me!! My illness, amnesia. Think about it mishti…lets say we get married..and then I get my memory back…then what? Tab kya hoga socha hai tumne? Its only natural that I would want to return to my husband once I remember who it is…and then I would leave Angad hurting more than he is right now…

Mishti: you do realize there is a greater chance with your case that you wont get your memory back…

Tanya: but there is still a chance that I will! And fine…even if I don't leave Angad once I get my memory back…what if my husband, god knows who is he is, manages to find me…he will come claiming me as his wife and take me away….in both cases I will be hurting him mishti!

Mishti: well all I can say to you is that you are hurting him right now as well. I say go talk to him…let him know of your fears and then if he still wants to marry you then what will you do?

Tanya: I don't know mishti…a part of me is telling me to forget the fact that I am an amnesia patient and get married to him while the other is telling me not to so I don't hurt him.

Mishti(patting tanya's shoulder): just talk to him Tanya…please? And you know who needs this alliance more than you or Angad? Prateek. Yes Angad needs a wife, yes he loves you, yes you love him, but out of all that, prateek will get a mother if you marry Angad…im sure as a woman you'd realize what an important role a mother plays in a child's life. Just think over what I said…okay?

Tanya nodded and bade mishti a goodbye. Tanya sat on the couch debating whether she should go talk to Angad or not. She didn't want to lose her best friend because of this. Hearing the front door shut, Angad stepped out of the room a while later only to see Tanya on the couch with her fingers pressing against her temple, her elbow resting on her knee. He went and sat beside her.

Angad: Tanya…don't worry about what mishti said…

Tanya: Angad can I ask you something?

The seriousness in her voice worried Angad a bit but he managed to nod.

Tanya: why do you want to marry me?

Angad: what do you mean why?

Tanya: I mean…do you want to marry me out of sympathy and pity or..

Angad: because I love you? First thing…if I wanted to marry you out of sympathy and pity, I could have done it days ago…but I want to marry you because I love you…I know what's on your mind…I don't care if you were married…so am i…but that was our past…and I guess since its not coming back…we should live in the present…and I see my present and future only with you.

Tanya: Angad..what if I get my memory back afterwards?

Angad: well…then you can go back to your husband if you want but if you still want to be with me…I wont have an objection…and trust me…if you go back to your husband…I wont be left hurting….i'd be spending the rest of my life with your memory.

Obviously he just said that to her but he knows that if she got her memory back, she would return to him only.

Tanya: what if my husband comes back claiming for me?

Angad: then I'd ask him where he was all these days when you needed him the most. And then if you want to go with him...you wouldn't have me protesting.

Tanya's heart was melting at his responses. He loved her but wasn't selfish like rahul. She looked at him while he just looked back and smiled. Of course he'd be smiling. Whatever of the three happened, she would be his. Even if she got married to him as Tanya, or if she got her memory back, or if her husband went claiming for her. In all three cases, she would be his. She decided to lighten the mood.

Tanya: I don't know if I'd be a good cook.

Angad: I'd help you out with it.

Tanya: I shop a lot.

Angad: don't all women?

Tanya: I wont quit the band…

Angad: I'd force you to join it again even if you did quit.

Tanya: I can be really annoying at time.

Angad: Im not any less.

Tanya: I wont take the tattoo off

Angad: has my name on it anyways…

Both burst out into laughter. She was pointing out the things he was supposed to dislike about her but he edited them so that both would like them. Both hugged each other and felt the calming sensation, especially Angad. He knew how long he had pined to embrace her, to tell her that he loved her, to hear that she loved him.

Tanya: I'll call Mishti and let her know…

Angad: no don't!!...we'll surprise them…

Tanya(smiled shyly): okay…

Then there was silence. Everything was said, all was heard, no more was left to say or to be heard. Prateek came to the rescue once again. Tanya got up and walked into Prateek's room as Angad followed.

Tanya: oh my god child! Why do you have so much trouble sleeping baby???

Angad: because baby's father doesn't sleep much…

Tanya: well…better learn to sleep because I sleep heck of a lot..

Angad: I know…so did my…

Tanya: your wife?

Angad nodded guiltily. He had decided he wasn't going to mention "his wife" in front of Tanya but he'd done it again. Tanya seemed much more relaxed about it though. She just took prateek to the bed and lay down beside him patting him, putting him to sleep. She didn't realize herself when she fell asleep. Angad joined the two and called it a day.

Kripa woke up the next morning and was surprised to see Angad sleeping on the same bed. She looked at him, who slept like a baby, and smiled. She would love getting up this way every morning. She lazed herself out of bed and proceeded towards the washroom.

Angad woke up hearing cluttering in the kitchen. Obviously he knew it was Tanya. He brushed his teeth and took a quick shower before stepping out of the room. He entered the kitchen where prateek sat in his baby chair with his milk bottle. Tanya, as usual, was making pancakes for Angad. Suddenly, she felt her feet move off of the ground. She was being placed onto the kitchen counter by, who else than, Angad.

Angad: I'll make breakfast today…

Tanya: why?? Aaj koi khaas din hai kya?

Angad: no…I feel like it…any objection?

Tanya: no…be my guest…I can finally get a break.

Angad: no…you will be learning how to make square pancakes….

Tanya: ohkk…lets see it.

She sat cutely on the counter beside the stove and watched him make pancakes.

Tanya: Angad…those look like normal pancakes to me..

Angad: wait and watch…

He took a spatula and cut the edges off making a square.

Angad: see…now that's called talent.

Tanya: righttt…did you know I could make triangular pancakes as well? Or I can shape them in octagons, hexagons, decagons, polygons…you name them!

Angad: are you always this sarcastic in the mornings or did I just not notice?

Tanya: I doubt anything could escape your eyes…but I guess im a little sarcastic this morning…

Angad waited for her to continue. He knew that face. He knew the expression. She had something else to say but she was going to take a couple of minutes.

Tanya(sighed): im scared.

Angad: of Rahul?

She nodded gently. He put his finger under her chin and made her look up at him.

Angad: you love me? (she nods) you trust me? (she nods). Then will you believe if I said that he wont be able to do anything? I'll make sure he doesn't. in fact…I was thinking…since you said you'd marry me…I want it to happen ASAP…because I know that until we get married, rahul has a chance of trying something wicked and you are not going to let your mind have some peace…

Tanya: are you sure you want to hurry into this…you don't need more time?

Angad: I am one hundred percent sure of it…this weekend we're all going out right? We'll announce it then if I have your permission.

She looked down shyly as her cheeks flushed. She hugged him around his waist hiding her face in his neck curve to hide her flushed face.
