i shd say u did a gud work by writin up a ff bcoz in the first part it self u hav written so beautifully the sunset the ridz discp. every thing was in its place i say u shd cont 1000% 😆

Part 2:
Through the windows, rays of the sun came through scattering all over the house; on the couch lay Riddhima in the same position as yesterday night.
She opened her eyes, to see her surroundings; she gently rubbed her eyes and placed the photo frame back on the side table.
She went upstairs got ready and made her way to the hospital.
She sat in her cabin thinking, she was now in charge of Sanjeevani Medical Hospital, everything was in her hands, she carried such a weight of responsibility on her shoulders, but whenever she had to make a decision she always thought that what she chose was it right? Would her father have done that?
Her father Shashank Gupta had been the dean or head of Sanjeevani ever since she could remember, he was not only her dad but he was her life, he role model, the reason she became a doctor.
She got interrupted from her thoughts when she saw a lady walking through her door, she was a short lady, but height didn't matter, looking at her Riddhima's eyes lit up, away from the pain and grief.

"Riddhima beta, kaise ho?" she looked at the lady and put on a faint smile " Padma aunty main bilkul theek hoon, aap kaise hain?"
"main theek hoon, beta tum ne breakfast kha liya?"
Riddhima had left the house this morning not even thinking about food, but to make sure Padma didn't worry she replied lying that she had.
"that's a lie, I know you haven't eaten anything since last night, chalo baitho aur yeh kha lo" Padma replied back with disappointment, she made Riddhima sit back down and opened up the Tiffin for her to eat from. " par aunty…" "no buts, kha lo, aur ab tum meri zimedari ho, Riddhima your parents would be devastated to see you like this" The mention of her parents, Riddhima looked up at Padma, she gulped and tried to stop the tears coming out of her eyes.
"look Riddhima please don't blame your self, hum sab yaha hain tumhare liye, ok…" Riddhima instead of wanting to cry over sadness, she wanted to cry because of how great full she was to have such loving friends and family.

Padma Aunty had been close with Riddhima's parents forever, they had been friends in college and that friendship lasted till today, she like Keerti was a second mother to Ridz, she was there when Ridz had first started school to even when she was an intern here at Sanjeevani, Padma had always treated Riddhima as a daughter and still does, that's why she took the initiative in making sure Ridz was fine, its not like she was forced to, but being the loving, caring aunt she is she took it herself, making sure that Riddhima would be fine and carry her fathers legacy by looking after Sanjeevani.

The day passed quickly, making evening come sooner than Riddhima had thought, work had been so busy that she hardly had time to think.
Her time with her patients was the only thing that she would look forward to each day, that's what being a doctor was about, that's what she took pride in, she became a doctor not only to follow in her father foot steps, she wanted to help those who were in need, not only as a doctor but as a friend.
Many people admired her for this, when she would attend her rounds, she would take care in what she was doing, never did she rush, she would sit down and talk to the patients, after getting to knowing a little her patient that's when she started treating them.
Too many of the patients instead of being their doctor, she was a friend; she addressed all her patients by their names and put in 110% in whatever she did. Another thing about her was she never took short cuts, yes she did think of the quickest way of getting her patient better, but she never sacrificed their life, just so she could save time.
So many people, her friends, the new interns even other doctors looked up to her, many of the other senior doctors saw her fathers qualities in her.

"Riddhima!" she turned to see Dr Keerti coming towards her with a serious face on, "kya hua Aunty?" "chalo mere saath" grabbing Ridz by the hand she pulled her along to the canteen, unaware of why Keerti was pulling her along, Ridz argued along asking why? But all Keerti would do is reply and say you have to see. As the entered the Canteen, the lights had been put out, not allowing anything to be seen inside, "yeh kya hain?..." but before she could finish her sentence, the lights came on and everyone shouted Surprise, a confused Riddhima was still lost, until brought into the middle of the canteen by Keerti, where everyone could see her.
"Will someone please tell me what's going on" she said looking at Dr Keerti,
"All your hard work has finally paid of, the late nights, the long hours, the blood and sweat that we have all put in has finally got us what we want, Sanjeevani has become the best hospital in the Asia Pacific…" Riddhima was shocked, she didn't know whether to smile, or cry, she held onto the chair to make sure she didn't lose her balance, she blinked a couple of times making sure it wasn't a dream. Her dreams had come true, her fathers dream.
She remembered how hard he worked to make Sanjeevani the best hospital in India, it was all her father had ever wanted. He wanted Sanjeevani to be recognized for the best doctors, the best equipment the best facilities and Most of all the Best Hospital in the Asia Pacific. She had made a promise to herself that she would do what ever she could, to fulfill her fathers dream.
"Riddhima….ridz…tum theek toh ho na…" Anjali asked, staring at the blank expression on Ridz's face, she wanted to see if she was alright,
"haan…" the place was quiet now, they wanted to see her reaction.
She let out a deep sigh and a huge smile appeared on her face, tears of joy came out. After so many months, all her friends saw her smile, the smile that said a thousand words, everyone clapped and cheered.
Atul and Sapna brought out a large cake, saying Sanjeevani, Riddhima cut they cake feeding Keerti, Atul, Anjali and Sapna. The staff and doctors that had attended, cheered Riddhima for a speech, she really was loss for words.
As she took hold of the microphone, she took a deep breath, opened her eyes to see so many loving caring people she knew, without them this success would have been impossible.
"I really don't know what to say, the past year has been tough, we have all been through bad times, and without each and everyone of you I don't think we could have made this possible, all our hard work, has finally paid of, main itna hi kehna chati hoon ke aap sab ke bina, papa ka yeh sapna sach nahin ho sakta…" tears were now forming around the rims of her eyes but she took a gulp and tried to stop them " humara sapna, mera sapna, aur mujhe yakeen hain ke ek na ek din Sanjeevani duniya ka best hospital banega, par humein aur mehnet karni padegi but in the end I know it will be for the best…Thank you!" she smiled to herself, everyone else clapped and talked among themselves, Riddhima quietly sneaked out of the canteen and made her way to her cabin, taking a seat she was relieved in one way and felt much better than she had been feeling the last months, but still she knew it that she wasn't the same, something was missing from her life, yes she was still scared, upset about what had happened but she knew that winning the position of best hospital in the Asia Pacific, did make her feel better, she knew that where ever her dad was, he was watching over her and that he would be happy with all that she had achieved.

She quietly made her way home, once again she got freshened up and madder her way downstairs, today she didn't make her way to the couch, but instead she made her way to the cabinet in the lounge, picking up and old album of when she was a kid she looked through it smiling at some remembering old memories, old pranks, jokes. The pictures really did speak a thousand words to her; it was like she was going through a story book of her life and not one bit of it did she not remember.
