Part 45:
Dhruv entered all smiles while Kripa and Angad were talking in Kripa's hospital room.
Dhruv: Kripa..how are you feeling now?
Kripa: DHRUV! I am alright....how is Anjali??
Dhruv: thanks to you Kripa...Anjali is fine...and I have become a father of a healthy baby girl..
Kripa & Angad: congratulations......
Kripa: I want to see her...
Dhruv: who? the baby or Anjali??
Kripa: both...
Angad: um no Mrs.Khanna...you are not leaving your bed.
Kripa: par Angad mujhe...
Dhruv: koi fayda nahi Kripa.....Anjali ko abhi hosh nahi aya aur baby to cubicle mein hai...no one is allowed to see her for 24 hours....
Kripa: I am so happy!! I want to meet Anjali...tell me when she gets conscious again...did you two decide names for the baby??
Dhruv: no...Anjali said she had the names chosen for both a boy and a girl....
Everyone visited Kripa one after another. She felt like a patient. The smell of her room was making her sick. She didnt want to sit there anymore, she had enough energy to walk. After many pleadings, Kripa managed to convince Angad to bring a doctor to check kripa and allow her to go if she could. The doctor checked Kripa's temperature, blood pressure and her pulse.
Doctor: she is fine now...but just dont make her do any strenuous activities...
Angad: alright...I'll take care of that...

Anjali gained her consciousness and repented after not listening to Kripa and delivering her baby early. She felt guilty that something could have happened. but everything was fine now. Anjali named her daughter Prachi. Prachi looked just like Anjali except she had dhruv's nose. Life had changed after Prachi had entered their lives. Dhruv and Anjali would argue over her all the time. Dhruv was already trying to spoil her to bits. Everyone was so happy now. Dadi had recovered almost completely. She still couldnt do much strenuous activities. Kripa had recovered from the Miscarriage completely. The mention of it now wouldn't hurt her. She had left that dark past behind and moved on.

3 MONTHs LATER:
Kripa gave Angad a tight hug at Khanna house doors before bidding him goodbye. He was going away to Canada for six months. Unfortunately, Kripa couldn't go with him.
Angad: Kripa..I dont want to go...
Kripa: Angad...dont start with that now...I promise...as soon as the problem with my passport gets solved, I will come to you...do you think I want to stay away from you? this is a lifetime opportunity for you Angad...this is a step towards your life long dream of becoming a neurosurgeon.
Angad: par kripa...
Kripa: tumne mujhse promise kiya tha ki chahe jo bhi ho tum apna sapna pura kar ke rahoge....
Angad(sighed): theek hai mein jaunga..lekin tum airport tak to chalo...
Kripa: nahi...agar mein airport ayi to phir mein tumse door nahi reh paungi...please....airport aane ke liye mat kehna...
Josh: Angad...woh aisi hi hai....woh jab bhi canada jaati thi to hum mein se koi airport nahi jaata tha...
Naina(tearful herself): Angad...chalo...tumhari flight ka waqt ho raha hai...
Angad: mom...aap sab agar aise royenge to mein nahi jaunga...
Dilip: Angad...tumhari maa hai woh..royegi kyun nahi?
Naina: tum chinta mat karna Angad...hum sab Kripa ka khayal rakhenge..aur jaise hi passport ki problem solve ho jaati hai...hum usse wahan par bhej denge...hum sab jaante hai ki tum dono ek dusre ke bina nahi reh sakte....hum sab nikalte hai...tum bahar aa jaana theek hai?
Everyone stepped out of the house leaving the parting couple alone with some privacy. Now is when Angad's eyes filled. He didnt want to leave her behind but he had promised her. Kripa knew that if she dropped a single tear, Angad would leave upset. She suppressed all her tears and engaged him in their last passionate lip lock before parting. After parting, Angad quickly turned around reluctantly before he dropped tears or became weak. Kripa turned the other way before he turned around and saw the tears that she failed to suppress. Angad walked out wiping his tears while Kripa stood there letting the tears drop. He quickly sat in the car and ordered the drive to leave.
Naina: Aliyah..ek kaam karo...tum Kripa ke saath raho...agar hum usse akela chod kar chale jayenge to woh rona band nahi karegi..
Aliyah: ok mom...i will stay with her....tell bhai I said take care and not to worry about Kripa....
Aliyah went inside to find Kripa standing in the exact spot. She slowly placed her hand on her shoulder.
Kripa: Aliyah...he will be alright right?
Aliyah: dont worry Kripa...bhai will be fine...aur waise bhi tum kuch din mein unke pass hi jaane waali ho na....to phir ro kyun rahi ho? Chalo....ab bhai chale gaye hai na....to mein aur tum mil kar masti karenge....
Kripa(wiped her tears): aur josh ka kya hoga?
Aliyah: He can have fun with dhruv....oh wait...never mind...i forget....man....why did dhruv and anjali have to move to hong kong! they could have stayed here...we could have helped her with Prachi....she didn't have to go to her aunt's house....
Anjali and Dhruv had moved to hong kong a month back with Prachi. Anjali was having trouble taking care of Prachi as she was a premature child who had a minor heart problem. Hong Kong was a place where Prachi could be cured.
After a short chat with Aliyah, Kripa walked back to her room. She stepped in and looked around the room which was filled with various pictures of Angad, Kripa and Angad-Kripa. She looked at each one and fell back into the past till the day the picture was taken. She looked at their wedding picture, then their picture at Aliyah's engagement, when they shared their first kiss. Picture at Aliyah-Josh wedding, Naina-Dilip anniversary. She caressed her tattoo as she looked at one of the pictures taken on the beach the day they got their tattoo done. Then she took her favorite set of pictures. Their first wedding anniversary pictures.((**ok sorry guys...i know I should have expanded on their first wedding anniversary....but that will come as a flashback later on**))

A month later:
Kripa was sitting on her bed reading a novel when Aliyah showed up.
Aliyah: KRIPA!!!
Kripa: kya hua Aliyah...itna chilla kyun rahi ho?
Aliyah: Kripa...I'm......Im Pregnant.
Kripa's smile faded as she heard pregnant. Kripa got up and walked up to Aliyah.
Kripa: how long??
Aliyah: th...three months...Kripa....mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai...
Kripa: dont worry alli......hum koi na koi raasta nikal lenge....you just dont worry...be happy....you are going to be a mommy....
Aliyah: Kripa...you know very well why I am not happy...
Kripa: meine kaha na Aliyah...kuch nahi hoga.....mein kuch karti hoon....you trust me right?
Aliyah: of course I do.....
Kripa: ok to abhi chalo...sab ko yeh khush khabri batatein hai...chalo...
Kripa took Aliyah's hand and took her downstairs where Naina was talking to Angad on the phone. Kripa rushed down the stairs as soon as she figured it was Angad.
Naina: yeh lo...aa gayi Kripa...baat karo...
Kripa: Angad!! Kaise ho tum? Tumhara course kaise chal raha hai? You take care of yourself right?
Angad: Kripa kripa kripa.....relax....How can I be without you? My course is alright....(angad had something else to tell her which he knew would make her happy but he decided to keep it a surprise)....and yes...i take care of myself so I can come to you quickly.....ab tum batao....passport ka kuch hua?
Kripa(sadly): nahi...pata nahi kya problem hai in logo ki...josh abhi wahin gaya hai shayad...unhone koi documents maange the....anyways....yeh sab chodo mujhe tumse ek bahut acchi khabar sunani hai!!
Angad: tumhari awaaz se lag to raha hai ki bahut acchi khabar hai....kya baat hai?
Kripa: Angad!! Tum mama banne waale ho!!!
Naina and Dilip screamed "what?!?" as they figured out Aliyah was expecting. Naina hugged aliyah and showered her with kisses.
Angad: WHAT??? When did you find out? how come you guys didnt tell me??
Kripa: relax angad...mujhe abhi abhi pata chala hai...
Angad: I want to talk to.........
The line got disconnected. Kripa felt disappointed but she knew he would call again. He called her every other day. Angad wanted to tell her that he is taking double classes to get over with his course in 3 months instead of six. he wanted to tell her that there are only two more months left until they could meet again.
