Lovers Quarrel

Story:

In the world of fashion, designer Kanya Godbole's name reigns over all with an elite stature. Developing a successful clothing line is noth the easiest thing in the world, but with hard work and of course the financial and emotional support of her parents, she prevailed with your dreams. Unlike most girls her age, she does dream about any prince charming, but rather dreads the very word of marriage. This is not because doesn't believe in love, but rather does not understand the significance or need to bind one's self to another person. There are so many things she wants to accomplish with her clothing line, K-Chic. (I know very lame name, but I didn't know what else to put) Why waste time and put her self out there and be vulnerable to another person?

Unfortunately for Kanya, her parents, Pammi and Anand, do not see eye to eye or back or forward with Kanya's motto of life. They want her to get married, but all kanya does runs away from the utter name of shaadi and one of her biggest problem is her beauty. Wondering how a person's beauty is a problem and not a blessing? Wanta see how an intelligent woman uses ridiculous antics and tactics to woo away suitable grooms? If so then stay tune for Lovers Quarrel..

Chapter 1: Escape

Gosh, kanya was really stressed out! Usually ideas just flowed into her mind, but today she was having one of her off days. Summer Fashion week was gradually approaching and she hasn't even come up with a theme. Absent mindedly, she was sketching in her design book.

Anjali enters Kanya's room

A: hey hun! How's ur work coming along?

K: oh..hey.. I didn't even see to come in.. ummm work.. don't even ask! Idk what im going to do.

A: awww don't worry… you always pull through at the end. Everything well be fine.

K: Fine..??? Please yaar, im freaking out like crazy and im even starting to have panic attacks at all hours of the day!

A: dude, you seriously need to chill. We should go to the gym and work off some of this stress.

K: yeah, your right. Let's go.

At the gym locker room

A: Kanya!!

K: huh??... Omg whats wrong.. r u ok?

A: umm yeah. What r u wearing?

K: clothes…

A: very funny. I know its clothes, but whats with the lack of it? Your tank top is half cut off and those shorts. Do u always have to dress this sexy? You know what happens..

K: come on Anjali.. relax! What's wrong with my clothes? I mean this is my look. Im a major fashion designer.. I need to look good all the time.

A: Fine, whatever let's go work out.

At the actually Gym:

K: Anji, you were totally right.. I need this work out

All of the sudden, kanya realizes that a guy was checking her out and she was not amused at all. She ignores it and concentrates on her sit-ups, but then all of the sudden she hears a whistle and turns to see a guy behind her.

K: helllo.. Do you have a problem?

Guy: damn your so hot.. need a partner?

K: WHAT? Hey.. watch it! Back off!

Guy: wow hot and sizzling.. I like it!

K: HEY LISTEN YOU PIG..

Kanya was going to take off her shoe and throw it at him, but Anjali stopped her and took her away from the area.

A: kanya please calm down..

K: IM CALM.. DOES IT LOOK LIKE IM NOT CALM!!

A (sarcastically): noooo of course not.. ugh! I knew this was going to happen.. this always happens.. a guy will hit on you and you always get upset. I mean come on.. ur very good looking.. its bound to happen and then again… boys will be boys. Just ignore it.

K: yeah. Whatever… I guess.

At that moment, kanya gets a call from her mom, Pammi.

P: hi jaan.. where are you?

K: hey mom.. im at the gym.

P: well, come home right away.. Some important guests
are coming over.

K: umm ok. Fine.

Hangs up the call

K: Anji, I need to go home. Mom said some "important" guests are coming over and you know what that means. Guest aka a prospective son-in-law.

A: aww I hope his cute.

K: UGH! Cute my foot! I need to get home and come up with an idea to get rid of this loser.
