Part 15

I'm SOOOOO sorry for the delayy!! Maaf karo ji! 😆😆

"Armaan!! Tuhme saab yaad hai?!?!?!" Riddhima shreiked. "Jhoot kyun kaha tha tumne????"

She shook his shoulders. "ARMAAN!!"

He felt dizzy... his mind was blurring. His memory was fading... His head was spinning... He couldn't bear the pain... Armaan fainted and fell do the ground.

"Armaan???" Everyone stared, too confused to do anything. "KUCH KARO!!! Pani lau!!"

Atul pulled out a water bottle from his bag and handed it to Riddhima. She sprinkled water on his face and tried putting it in his mouth. No response. She lifted his eye lids, and slightly touched his eyes. He immediately flinched. Riddhima let out a sigh of relief.

"Armaan??" Riddhima softly patted his soft hairs. She put his head on her lap, caressing his face... as if it was the most precious thing she ever owned. She started crying...

Safwan was getting impatient. He bent down and took off Armaan's shoes... and tickled his feet..

"Eww... Riddhima, tum hi karo... tuhmara hone wala pati hai... roz roz yeh smelly feet dekhne parege tume..."

"Safwaan!" Riddhima tickled his feet, nothing happened. She got irritated, and pinched his toes hard. Armaan jerked awake.

"Armaann!" He lifted his head from her lap and sat down, still feeling slightly dizzy.

Riddhima was now sobbing hard.. tears were rolling down her cheeks like rain falling from the clouds. She was shaking...

"Riddhima??" Armaan questioned. "Riddhima, kya hua???"

Riddhima wrapped her arms around Armaan, tightly, unwilling to let go. She hugged him tighter, almost squashing him. He hugged her back.

"Riddhima?" He said softly, letting go. Still she wouldn't let go of him, so he held on to her again. "Kya hua?" She continued sobbing.

"I I l-l-love you." There was a moment of awkward silence. Riddhima swallowed her tears... "Armaan, yaad karne ki koshish karo!!"

"Riddhima, muhje kuch nai yaad hai tuhmare baare mein... I'm sorry, Riddhima..." He hugged her tightly. "I love you too," he whispered in her ears...

"Yaad karo, Armaan..."

"Riddhima... muhje KUCH nai yaad aara... likin yaad aawe ya nai, mein tuhmara tha, tuhmari hi hoon, aur tuhmari hi rahoonga. Relax. Atul, paani lau."

He made her drink water... and held on to her tightly. Why couldn't he remember...?? He wondered.

*Flashback*

A young boy sat up on the bed... (Imagine chohta Karan hehe). His head was wrapped up in bandages... His mother was sitting on a chair, next to the hospital bed. Tears were streaming down the young woman's eyes...

"Beta???" She patted his head. "Doctor!!" She passed through the shiny glass doors of the ICU, and brought back with her a tall, dark, and young doctor.

"Shashank, dekho, Armaan ne aankhen kholdi!!"

"Hmm.. Haan..."

"Armaan!!!" Another man came in. (Anurag from KZK, will get a picture later.)

"Abhimaanu..." His mother hugged the man tightly, it was his father. The tall dark man looked at him with a smile on his face, Armaan didn't recognize him and neither did he recognize the little girl that ran in with Padma aunty. Two unknown faces stood in front of him.

"Chikkuu!" The little girl ran to his bedside. She was so small, she couldn't reach Armaan's face, so she targeted his hands. She patted them... showing mercy, as he was sick. She would've preferred to pinch them instead, the way she'd pinch his cheeks. But.. Armaan didn't recognize the girl.

He started crying... two unfamiliar yet familiar faces stood in his room. He felt a bit frightened...

"Riddhima!" Padma picked her up. "Chikku bimar hai, aaj ke liye usse chordo."

"Maine kuch nahi kiya, Mumma," she said, as she started to cry as well. Armaan's mother was patting his hair, calming him down.

"Armaan..." Shashank said. "Muhje pehchana?" Armaan shook his head in a negative manner. "Aarzoo... Abhimaanu, Armaan lost a little bit of his memory.. usse main aur Riddhima yaad nai hai... partial memory loss... sorry." He looked up at the ceiling. Tears would leak anytime. (Shashank is an intern at this time... along with Armaan's father.)

"Tum samahj te kya ho aapne aap ko?!?!?!?!!!" Abhimaanu bellowed. Aarzoo came to his side and calmed him down. Both children were crying...

A budha doctor entered...

*End of Flashback*

Armaan shivered. Chikku. It had sounded familiar. And the ICU was familiar too... It was where he had been going in and out of everyday for so many years!! The ICU where his nephew, Aseem was in!! How could he be so stupid!!

"Guys, lets go back to the guest house." Armaan said. The trip was such a disappointment.

Malaika was happy to go back to the guest house. "Yayy!"

"Shut up! Tuhmari hi nazar lagi hogi." He stuck his tongue out at her. She ignored and walked with Sapna.

*****

Next day

Malaika's outfit:

Safwan was wearing a maroon polo and beige khakhi pants.

Armaan was wearing his trademark jeans with a green polo shirt.

Riddhima's outfit:

"Whoooo hooooo!!!!!" Safwan shouted in ecstacy.

Today was the last day of Med Camp. Everyone had finished packing and were either going on the bus... or in Safwan's case, had to ride in the car. Since there wasn't any more space in the bus, Malaika had to go with Safwan... and this time.. Sapna ended up sitting on Atul's lap as she was the last one to board the bus.

Malaika and Safwan were quiet all the way as Malaika wasn't in a mood to reply to his taunts and lame jokes... and for once Atul and Sapna weren't chit chatting.. they were blushing. Armaan and Riddhima were talking. Riddhima was telling him stories of their times together. Storytelling seemed to be a repertoire of Riddhimas. She elaborated every tiny detail.

*****

They reached Mumbai... and Sanjeevni.

Dr. Armaan was appointing their duties.

*Vroom*

The camera shifts to a woman's feet... then her hands, then her lips... eyes... nose....

*Vroom*

She walked up to Armaan.

Shi shi shi... lookit the kind the clothes she wears to the hospital 😳 Hehee..

"Heyy, handsome!!" She grabbed him by the collar, then pulled him into a hug. Natasha saw Riddhima's face turning red with jealousy. She hung on to Armaan longer, satisfying herself with Riddhima's jealousy. Departing from the hug, she placed a hand on his heart. "Kya hua? Mere aane se tuhmare dil ki dharkan ghabra kyun gaye??"

Armaan just stared at her in disbelief. His temperature was rising to boiling point. She still wanted to embarrass him in front of everyone... her heart wasn't satisfied still, eh?? He'd show her!

He gave her a fake smile. "Dr. Natasha Kapoor... apne haad mein reh ye," and moved away from her. Riddhima was still boiling. The interns were confused. Safwan nudged Malaika with his elbow.

"Garbaar??" He whispered. She nodded.

"Hum kuch kare?"

"Shut up, Safwan... and mind your own business. Baad mein sochna ke problem kya hai, abhi mera mood nai hai."

"Stupid."

They were assigned their duties... and left.

Natasha was still hanging around Armaan, putting her arm in his, caressing his cheeks... messing with his hair. He kept shoving her off... but Chipkali wouldn't let go.

*****

"Malaikaa..."

"SAFWAN!!" Malaika snapped her fingers in his face.

"Malaikaa..." He said, dreamily.

"Tuhmari problem kya hai?!?!"

"Malaikka... pagal kar diya hai tumne muhjee... tuhmari yeh batate jaisi aankhen... yehh.. pencil jaisa lamba naak... yeh paper jaisi paatli hoothon... yeh tamatar jaise gol gol gaal..."

All the interns couldn't control their laughter, even Malaika had to admit that Safwan was hilarious. She couldn't stop the laughter that was about to escape her mouth. She dug her face in her hands, laughing so hard, you couldn't hear her. She lifted her face and looked at Safwan, who looked satisfied with the attention he was receiving. Malaika's face was as red as a tomato, due to excessive laughing.

"Dekho, dekho!!! Maine kaha tha na, tamatar jaise gol gol gaal!!" He said, pointing at her scarlet cheeks.

"Safwan, tum bhi na!" said Malaika. He gave her a naughty look and winked at her.

"Romantic comedy chal rai hai yaha..." Atul muttered under his breath. Malaika was still laughing.

"Armaan!" Riddhima yelled, in excitment. She pointed towards the door. Everyone looked at her strangely.

"Hmm... DR. Armaan ko dekh ke... Dr. Riddhima ko KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI..." Safwan said.

"Ufff, shut up, bechari ko kyun ched rai ho," Malaika said and shook her brows, naughtily.

Armaan came and sat next to Riddhima. He had a dead serious look on his face.

"Break time is over guys, get back to work!" He said, rudely, not even turning his face towards Riddhima. She felt dejected.

He got up to get a coffee and came back to the table, slamming the cup on the table. A few droplets spilled on the table top. Everyone stared at him in disbelief.

"JAU!! BREAK TIME KAB SE KHATAM HO CHUKA HAI!!" He yelled. Everyone one got up and ran away, except for Riddhima, who was wondering what was wrong with him.

"Armaan... tum teek to ho na?" She asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"DR. ARMAAN, not ARMAAN! Yeh hospital hai, tuhmara ghar nai. Ab jau kaam karo, tuhmari duty Cardiac ward!!"

Riddhima, frightened, ran away as fast as possible, tears brimming from her innocent eyes.

Plz plz plz, do comment 😳😳 And silent readers, you too 😆😆.
