Kripa: Angad.....utho....
Angad(half asleep): Kripa....aaj saturday hai.......sone do na.......
Kripa had tried for the nth time to wake him up.
Kripa(thinking to herself): Ye aise nahi uthega...
Kripa went down into the kitchen and came back with a bowl full of cold water with ice cubes in it. She went up to him and called him for the last time. When he didnt move, she carelessly poured the whole bowl on his bare upper body.
Angad: AHHHHHHHH!!!!! Kripa!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Angad made a jump to grab her but she was too quick for him. She ran out of the room and down the stairs as Angad still chased after her. Naina and dadi got up from the couch surprised to see so much action between the two.
Kripa(hiding behind dadi): Dadi.....bachao..
Angad(trying to grab her from behind dadi): Koi nahi bacha sakta ab tumhe....iska badla to mein le kar hi rahunga...
Naina: Kiss baat ka badla??
Angad(turned to Naina): mom...dekhiye na Kirpa ne mujhe pe thanda paani dala....woh bhi ice ke saath...
Kripa: tum kisi aur tarah se jaag nahi rahe the to mein kya karti....
Angad: Kripa...you make a promise right now that you wont wake me up like that from tomorrow....or else....you will pay for this...
Kripa: ok ok ok........your wish granted....NOT!!!..ab har subah mein tumhe isi tarah se uthaungi....
With the last sentence she made a run for her room again. She tried to close the door but Angad slipped in just in time. He grabbed her and hugged her tight making her get wet as well.
Kripa: Ahhhh....angad....its cold...cold cold cold......Angad......chodo na please!!!!!!!!
Angad: Angad Khanna ke saath panga liya hai tumne...saja to hogi....
Kripa: Angad...aur kuch bhi....lekin yeh nahi please.............its too cold!!!!!!!
Angad(mischieviously): Aur Kuch bhi??
Kripa(absent mindedly): Haan...kuch bhi....(realized what she had just blurted out)...i mean...i...didnt....i....
Angad: chalo...ye gustaakhi tumhe maaf ki...lekin tumne kal mujhse ek promise kiya tha na......bhul gayi kya??
Kripa(trying to get out of his grip): Promise??
Angad: dont act smart now....i know you remember....
Kripa(blushed): I know...Dont worry sweety....i'll keep my promise and i will make it up to you...
Angad(came closer and whispered): I'll be waiting...
Kripa: wait baad mein kar lena abhi jao....jaldi taiyaar ho kar aa jao....humein shopping jaana hai...
Angad: oh man....phir se shopping?? Meine tumse kal hi poocha tha na..tumne kaha tha ki tumhe shopping nahi jaana...
Kripa: Angad...yeh shopping karva chauth ke liye hai....jao....jaldi se taiyaar ho jao...
Kripa pushed a reluctant Angad into the washroom.
Kripa(thinking to herself): I want to say sorry about my insane behaviour last night.....but I dont want to mention it to you again....jo baat tumhari aankhon mein aansu laaye....woh baat mein bhul se apne sapne mein bhi tumse nahi karungi...I promise I will never upset you and always keep you happy...
Naina(walking into the room): Kripa.....Tum ready ho??
Kripa: nahi mom.....woh Angad ne.....
Naina looked at Kripa who had her clothes with few parts wet thanks to Angad's hug.
Naina: Samajh gayi.....koi baat nahi...change kar lo....aur tum dono jaldi se shopping ke liye chale jaana....shaam ko mujhe tumhari puja ki taiyaari mein jarurat padegi...
Kripa: hum jaldi aa jayenge mom...
Naina: beta....bura na maano to ek baat puch sakti hoon?
Kripa: of course mom...aapko puchne ki kya jarurat hai..
Naina: tumme yeh achanak badlaav kaisa?? I mean...aaj tum itni has rahi ho...subah se tumhare chehre par muskaan hai....kal raat tumhe dekh kar laga to nahi tha ki aaj ki subah aisi hogi..
Kripa: mom...Meine iss baare mein bahut socha aur phir mujhe samajh mein aaya ki beeti baaton ki vajah se baar baar sabko upset karna aur khud ko hurt karne ka koi matlab nahi hai....ab mein jitna bhi ro loon...jo meine khoya hai...woh vapas to nahi aa sakta na....sab ke liye behtar yehi hogs ki jo hua woh bhula diya jaaye...
Naina: sahi kaha tumne beta...mein bahut khush ki tum yeh sab kuch apne aap hi samajh gayi.....aur itni si umar mein jitna tumne saha hai na beta.....woh har koi nahi kar sakta..I must say....you are a strong girl...
Kripa: Thanks mom...lekin aap sabke support ke bina mein yeh nahi kar sakti thi.....mein kitni lucky hoon na...mujhe itna accha parivaar mila hai....pata hai mom...uss din..jab meine aapko hospital mein dekha tha na.....mujhe laga tha...'kripa...teri khair nahi....tumhare hone waali saas ek lady hitler lagti hai'....
Naina: accha....to tumhe mein lady hitler lagti hoon...
Kripa: ofcourse not mom.....mujhe shaadi se pehle aisa laga tha...lekin shaadi ke baad pata chala ki aap mein aur mamma mein koi farak tha hi nahi....mujhe kabhi nahi laga ki aap Angad ki mom ho....mujhe hamesha aisa hi lagta hai ki mein aapki beti hoon....
Naina(hugging Kripa): Of course Kripa....jaise aliyah meri beti hai....waise hi tum meri bahu nahi....beti ho...samjhi?? Aur ab tumhe dhyan rakhna hoga ki agar tumne mera koi rule toda to mein lady hitler ban jaungi..
Angad stepped out and found Naina and Kripa laughing.
Angad: Kya hua?? Aap dono itna has kyun rahe ho??
Naina: kuch nahi....ye maa-beti ke beech ki baat hai...
Angad: are...ye kya baat hui??? uss din aliyah keh rahi thi ki yeh "andar ki baat hai" aur aaj aap keh rahe ho ki maa-beti ki beech ki baat hai.....are koi mujhse bhi to koi secrets share karo...akhir mein bhi ek beta hoon, ek bhai hoon, ek dost hoon....aur sabse khaas....ek ahem ahem....husband hoon...
Naina: to Mr.Husband apni biwi ki shopping le jaane ke liye taiyaar hai?
Angad(groaned): yes.......
Naina & Kripa: Good.
Angad and Kripa had their breakfast and went shopping. Angad as usual had her parade in front of him in different saris until he chose two, both shades of red.
Kripa: Are Angad yeh kya??....dono laal rang ki saari hai....bilkul same lagegi...
Angad: nahi lagegi...dekho....if you look closely...there is so much difference between the embroideries.
Kripa: Angad......saari tumhe peheni hai ya mujhe?
Angad: are...to kya hua? Tumhe dekhunga to mein hi na....but even then....why dont you buy one more thats not red?
Kripa: three saaris?
Angad: yeaa...u can wear one of these red ones on our wedding anniversary.......its coming up soon...
Kripa: hmmm....sounds like a plan to me...ok......how about this pink one??
Angad: ew....kripa...whats happened to your colour sense?? Pink mein ekdum aunty ki tarah lagogi.......This one is better...
Kripa sighed and took the dark green sari with silver embroidery that Angad suggested as she knew there was no point in arguing with him. She was never going to win.
As soon As Angad and Kirpa entered Khanna House, they saw the house being decorated. The first thing Kripa heard was Aliyah. No one could be as loud as her. She was talking to Anjali about something. Kripa put her shopping bags aside and joined them in the conversation.
Kripa: Aliyah.....thoda volume neeche nahi kar sakti kya?? Ghar mein pair rakhne se pehle pata chal jaata hai ki tu yahan pe ya nahi....
Aliyah: Aaj jitna bolna hai mujhe bol dene do kyunki kal mein vrat rakh rahi hoon na....and you know me...i cant even go 2 hours without food and i have to stay without food and water for the entire day!!!! I am not going to talk....because I need to save my energy...
Kripa: tum...aur kuch bolo nahi?? Aliyah....agar tumne aisa kar dikhaya na....to mein tumhari saari favourite dishes banaungi...sirf tumhare liye...
Aliyah: ok fine....we'll see....are Anjali....tum into chup chup kyun ho?? Kuch bolti kyun nahi?? Is everything ok?
Kripa: kya hua anju? tum theek to ho?? kuch chahiye tumhe?
Now anjali felt even more worse about being so heartless towards Kripa...even after she said the worst thing to her, Kripa was still talking to her...why was she so nice?.
Anjali: nahi..mein theek hoon.....mein chalti hoon...dhruv ata hi hoga mujhe pick up karne.....
Kripa: kahan jaa rahi ho?
Aliyah: wahin...jahan se tum abhi abhi ayi ho....shopping....for Karva Chauth........woh bhi vrat rakh rahi hai na...
Kripa: oh...i see....i'll be back...
Kripa got up, picked her bags and went up to her room. As soon as she stepped in, Angad closed the door and trapped her in the room.
Kripa: Angad...kya kar rahe ho? Jaane do na please...mom ko kuch help chahiye hogi to?...
Angad: mom ko baad mein help karna. Pehle meri help karo....
Kripa: kya hua?
Angad: pyaar...
Kripa: Accha?? Kisse?
Angad: tumse...
Kripa: to mein kya karu?
Angad: mujhse door mat jaaya karo please....jaan nikal...
Before he could finish, Kripa put her hand on his mouth.
Angad: see....I know how to push the right buttons...
Kripa: I can see that......accha ab chodo na please....shaam ko puja hai aur mujhe mom ko help karni hai...
Angad: like I said....first help me......I need something...
Kripa: Ok...what do you need?
Angad: a kiss would be nice...
Kripa looked at him as if she knew that was coming. She was about to move closer and give him a kiss when Anjali knocked on the door. Both looked towards her and Angad's smile turned into a light frown.
Anjali: Kripa...kya mein tumse baat kar sakti hoon??
Kripa: Haan...bolo
Anjali: um..akele mein?
Angad: nahi...tumhe Kripa se jo bolna hai..mere saamne bolo....
Kripa: Angad...dont worry...I will..
Angad: no...You two talk in front of me...
Kripa(sighed): bolo Anjali...tum jaanti ho na Angad ko...woh nahi maanega..
Anjali: well Kripa...all I wanted to say was sorry for last night...I dont know what happened to me...i just blurted out whatever came to mind...i shouldnt have done that....i am sorry....
Kripa: If you think im going to forgive you after what you did to me....then.......you are absolutely correct...Dont worry about it Anjali...It was partly my fault...i should have taken it much strongly instead of letting it hit me right away...but its ok...I am fine...dont worry about it...
Anjali: I cant believe I did that though....it was so heartless...
Kripa: Anjali!!! I said forget it na...no hard feelings yaar...I am fine...dont worry....aur rahi Angad aur Dhruv ki baat....Angad to apne aap tumhe maaf kar dega jaise hi iska gussa thanda ho jayega....Dhruv se mein baat kar lungi...They were really mean to you last night but I was in no state to take stand against them.....but i will talk to them.
Anjali left with Dhruv to shop for her Vrat while Aliyah and Kripa helped Naina around the house preparing for the pooja in the evening. Kripa had talked to Angad and Dhruv and convinced them to forgive Anjali. It wasnt that easy but it wasnt that hard either.

Ok guys...so this ff has completed 150 pages!
