hi! i read the first part but never got the chance to comment. great part. i actually had a teacher named Mrs.Fields in 6th grade 😆 ubset she was really nice. i love kripa's character, its soo.... normal, she's not some shy girl like in other fics or have any horrible pasts, shes just a normal girl. 😛

hey..thank u sooo soo much..lol..i just cldnt come up with a name and i just happened to pick it up from my mums Mrs. Fields cookbook i saw lying about..yep kripa is pretty normal except for the fact she hasn't had one decent relatinship 'yet'

Part 3

I woke up from a wildly erotic dream involving me and guess who…ANGAD! Who would've guessed the guy will invade my senses entirely. This is a first! Well I clearly need a new strategy to avoid making the same mistakes all over again. Operation Avoid Mr. Hottie aka Angad Khanna (too long a name) is now in motion. Due to my vast experience, I have learnt several effective ways to get over your crush;

Avoid the guy like a plague; the term absence 'makes the heart fonder of the girl next door' is so not true. Trust me I've tried it but it does help reduce your affections of the person.
Try to find fault in the guys. I mean no one is perfect, right? So concentrate on his errors and look for shortcomings instead of thinking about his smoldering eyes and sexy grin.
There are plenty of fish in the sea. The best way to get over a crush is to fall for someone else. Doesn't really help because the whole thing starts all over again.

Like I said I've had experience. So the best way for me to not fall for Angad is to simply avoid him. That would be difficult though, considering he is my partner and all. SIGH! I'm merely obsessing over nothing; I mean this feeling is going to pass soon. Right?

I changed my clothes in a jiffy and left for university arriving there in the nick of time, as per usual. Damn, I have got to start waking up on time. I rushed into my class and would you believe it, the only seat left was one next to Angad. I gave him a brief smile and took my seat ignoring the way his T-shirt molded his body to perfection, showing off those biceps…Hai!

I ignored him throughout the class which seemed to infuriate him. Angad had never ever been ignored in his life. Everywhere he went, girls were fawning all over him, be it single or married, 8 or 80. The lack of interest of this slip of a girl was as much challenging as it was annoying. He spent the entire day, trying to engage her in a conversation but all he got were monosyllable answers. He gave up after a while.

As soon as it ended, I rushed out of class running like the devil was behind me, which in a way it was. The handsome devil Angad Khanna. Evidently he cannot handle being ignored or so it seems by the puzzled look he kept throwing in my direction. The whole day, we kept playing hide and seek, me determined to stay away from him only to find myself bumping into him every hour or so. The guy was all over the place, always with some bimbo hanging by his arm, giving him the come hither look.

Nishant, Kanan and I were relaxing in the caf when I looked up to see Angad walk in surrounded by Samantha Cox and her posse. If there is one person I hate on earth, it's Samantha. We used to be the very best of friends in kindergarten for besides being my neighbor for all my life, she used to be a good person. Notice how I said used, past tense. Now she is a psychotic, backstabbing bimbo and the same girl with whom Prithvi cheated on me.

I glanced at Angad and the poor guy looked suffocated and why wouldn't he, he was surrounded by the most irritating people on earth aka cheerleaders. I gave him a sympathetic smile and he grinned back trying to pry his arm away from Samantha who held it in a death grip.

Nishant: Look at the poor guy. Sam looks like shes going to going to gobble him up. I should save him. He looked at Angad who was looking a bit perturbed.

Nishant: ANGAD! Over here. Angad shot Nishant a grateful look and managed to pry his arm away from Samantha before rushing over to our table.

Angad: Thanks man I owe you one.

He shot Nioshant a grateful look and Nishant being the true gentleman he is, asked him to join us, introducing him to Kanan who gaped and him and me. I nodded at him and nodded before looking away hastily. Angad's face lit up with a mischievous smile and he took the seat next to me. I squirmed in my seat, a little uncomfortable at the close proximity and his grin widened as he realized the reason for my discomfort. He leaned a bit closer his arms brushing against mine. Is it just me or is it getting HOT in here?

I tried to concentrate on what Nishant was saying when really my mind was pondering over how sexy he would look in a leather jacket and a motorbike. I was hurled out of my thoughts when my phone started ringing; my ring tone for the week was Avril's song Girlfriend and I answered the phone hastily while Angad smirked at me.

Me: Hello!

Aaliya: Kripa di where are you? We have to pick baba up from the airport or have you forgotten?

Me: CRAP! I yelled. I'll be there in 5 minutes I said before grabbing my stuff and running towards the nearest exit. I actually made it home in five minutes by breaking about a hundred safety rules and was off before Aaliya could even sit in the car. To say that I was driving like a mad woman is an underestimation. I managed to reach the airport in another 10 minutes and me and Aali ran to the arrival lounge to greet our father. I rushed forward and literally jumped his bones as I hugged him.

Suryaban: Kripa! I' m surprised to see you are actually punctual this time.

Aaliya: No baba! she must have broken like a dozen…she broke off as I clamped her mouth shut, the little snitch.

Me: I missed you baba!

Aaliya: Me too.

Suryaban: I missed you both too. And guess what? I have gifts for all of you. Me and Aali cheered, (childish I know) and the three of us made our way home.
