Part 3

Recap: Raj asks Naina as why they are in KMA but Naina doesn't answer him. Ritu's entry. Abhi's first music class. Aalekh & Ali have fight with senior cadets in the mess, and Naveen catches all of them fighting.

Now:

Naveen (shouted)- What the hell is going on here? Don't you have any manners as how to behave at all?

Sai- Sir, they don't have any respect for seniors. We said to them something about discipline and they started to fight with us.

Naveen- Is that true, Cadet Sharma & Cadet Beigh?

Neither Aalekh nor Ali said anything in defense and Naveen saw that all four of them were little injured so he sent them to infirmary and told Aalekh & Ali to report in his office after their last class.

Shalini took care of senior cadets first as they had a drill with MC, and then she started to put bandages on Aalekh & Ali's wounds, and she asked them the reason of their fighting while bandaging.

Aalekh- apun koi kisi ke bare main faltu crap bole na to bardast nahi karta… Kyonki agar log zulm karte rahenge aur tum sehte rahoge to khud ki nazorn se gir jaoge…

Ali- And hamare mentor kaha karte the ki insaan doosron ki nazron main gir kar jee sakta hai lekin khud ki nazorn main reh kar kabhi nahi jee sakta. And he always taught us to stand up for the truth no matter what the consequences will be…

Shalini was amazed as how these cadets had proper understanding for truth or to stand up for themselves & their own country.

Shalini(smiled)- I know now, why Naina always talked about you. You both are good & pure person from heart.

Aalekh & Ali smiled in return & went to the last class which was Rajveer's.

As soon as they entered the class, other four were worried about them seeing the bandages but they explained what happened. Naina was about to say something when Rajveer came to the class so they had to stop their conversation at the time.

Raj already knew about the fight as he heard from suriji so he decided to go ahead with the class to distract them instead of inquiring about anything.

Pooja was enjoying looking at her shah rukh & Ali was interested in what Raj was teaching. Huda, Sherry & Aalekh were completely bored and Naina was in her own world as she had many things to straighten out. Raj noticed that Naina was lost somewhere but he didn't say something.

After the class, Aalekh & Ali reported to Naveen and Naveen asked them to tell him what really happened at the mess. First Ali & Aalekh were unsure about revealing what exactly happened but Naveen again asked them in a very friendly way.

Ali told him the truth that senior cadets started the fuss about passing some nasty comments and Aalekh told Naveen that whatever happened in the past was the past but senior cadets didn't leave it so the fight happened.

Naveen understood exactly, and dismissed them saying that they should control their anger as Major Niar will always favor against them if any situation like this comes up.

Ali- Thank you sir, for understanding…

Naveen- If we try to keep our indifferences in the past, we can have a good relationship as teacher and cadets or as friends if you guys would consider…

Aalekh & Ali just nodded at him, and they both stared at him.

Naveen- Yes, Cadets? Anything else?

Aalekh- Wo apun sirf itna kehna chahta hai ki Naina aap ko aur uncle aunty ko bahut miss karti hai. Kya ek baar sab kuch bhula kar phir se sub kuch normal nahi ho sakta…

Naveen – Me and Our parents miss her so much too, but she is not letting us talk to her so how could we fix this?

Ali- Sir, aap to jante hai ki Naina is stubborn and she is not letting her guard down or she is not going to start from her side so pehli shuruaat to aap ko hi karni padegi and we will be with you sir if you want…

Naveen(smiles)- I know how stubborn she is… I will definitely use your help cadets… Thanks for supporting my sister through ought all this…

Aalekh- Sir chahe khoon ka rishta na ho lekin apun logo ka aur Naina ka dil ka rishta hai wo apun dono ki bhi behan hai.

Naveen patted their shoulder and they both stepped out of the cabin.

Naveen was happy that finally he saw a window of opportunity to fix things with Naina and Aalekh & Ali were happy as if Naveen could understand them then their staying at KMA won't be too hard.

Naina & Huda were in the mess and they were waiting for Aalekh & Ali as they didn't know where those two went after the class. Pooja & Sherry walked in and Naina asked them.

Naina- Did you guys see Aalekh or Ali?

Pooja- You don't know wo apne aamir (Pooja compares Naveen to aamir khan), mera matlab tere bhai ne un dono ko aaj mess main jo hua uske liye apne cabin main bulaya tha. I hope he doesn't give any punishments to those poor networks or we won't have much talk time with them for couple of days.

Naina heard that and before anyone could say anything she stormed out of the mess.

Huda- Oy phoolan ko kya ho gaya, itni gusse se kahan chali gayee…

Aalekh & Ali stepped in the mess and heard Huda so they asked him, and Huda told that one minute she was asking about you two and when Pooja answered her she stormed out of here angrily.

Sherry (sipping her tea)- Aaj Captain Naveen singh ahaluwalia ki band bajne wali hai…

In the hallway, Abhimanyu was talking to Dr. Ritu whom Raj just introduced her before going to Naveen's cabin.

Abhimanyu was just about to answer one of Ritu's questions when he saw Naina standing in front of them, looking angry & annoyed.

"Yes?" he asked naina.

"You're blocking my way." She answered him bluntly. "I have to talk to Captain Naveen singh ahaluwalia now…"

Abhimanyu thought of distracting her anger and calmed her down a bit before she storms into Naveen's cabin. Initially seeing naina's angry look, he was genuinely concerned about his friend.

Abhi- I think he is right now with raj, by the way, meet Dr. Ritu Mishra…, and Dr. Mishra, this is one of the first year cadets, Cadet Naina singh ahaluwalia.

Ritu- Hello, cadet… Naina singh ahaluwalia so that means you & Captain Naveen are related to each other, aren't you?

Abhi- Naina is Naveen's sister…

Naina gave a derisive look to Abhimanyu while he answered Ritu.

Naina- Nice to meet you ma'am, and I am here as only first year cadet not some captain's sister…

Naina left right after that. Ritu also walked out of there saying Bye to Abhimanyu and Abhi just remained there thinking why suddenly Naina is so mad at Naveen.

In Naveen's cabin, Naveen was telling Raj how Aalekh & Ali told him to help get closer to his sister and how well they were ready to put everything behind. Raj seemed happy as well as Naveen. Raj saw a smile like this on Naveen's face after a long time.

He was about to say something when the door of cabin was opened, and Naina walked in without even knocking.

She looked at both of them and both Raj & naveen were happy yet confused that what was she doing there?

She closed the door and stared at them for a minute. Raj needed to break the silence so he did.

Raj- Well nice to see you Naina, is there anything we can do for you?

Naina(with anger)- I think you two have done enough for me already…

Naveen(confused)- What are you talking about?

Naina- let me make one thing clear to you two and tell all your special KMA faculty members this too…. Stay away from me and my friends & if any of you hurt my friends, then you will get the other end of the stick from me which won't be good for you or your special KMA.

Raj- Naina, we were just trying to help you guys… That's all…

Naina- If you really wanted to help, then you would've supported us when we needed. There is no need to show any emotions right now because we are so past that phase, and I have moved on…

Naina left the room & she saw Abhi standing at door looking shocked. Naina just gave him an angry look and left from there.

Abhi entered the room and saw both Raj & Naveen who were clearly shocked & hurt. Abhi wanted to say that everything will be all right but he also very well knew that everything is screwed up and it won't be all right until they do something very soon……………………..

Sherry told all the other cadets whatever happened between naina & Raj & naveen. Ali & Aalekh were shocked.

Naina was sitting beside the lake when Aalekh came there.

Aalekh- Bole to, tune Naveen sir se kya kaha?

Naina- Jo mujhe un logo se kehna chahiye tha. They have a problem with me, so take out on me but not on my friends.

Aalekh- galat kiya tune… He called us to support us, and they all want to put our past and everything behind. He didn't blame us for whatever happened in the afternoon.

Naina- is it so easy to forget everything? They didn't believe us when we needed…

Aalekh- Purani baton ko pakad kar rakhogi to kabhi aage nahi badh paogi… Apun sirf itna keh raha hai, ki wo log try kar rahe hai to hum ko bhi saamne try karna chahiye… Tune aaj jo bhi kiya wo galat kiya…

Naina- It's not easy and I am not here to patch anything. I am just here because…

Aalekh- Exactly, you know we need their help…

Naina- No, I don't… I am capable to do this by myself…

Naina left from there and Aalekh remained there thinking that they have to do something soon or the situation will be worse.

Part- 4

The other morning, all cadets were in the mess eating their breakfast quietly when Huda entered excitedly and stood up on a chair ready to make an announcement.

Huda- Oy, mere first year cadets, the fresher's ball is in two weeks and our taou just announced that so get your dates ready and ready to have some fun.

Everyone got excited and started talking about what they were going to wear or how they are going to get dates etc.

Aalekh, Sherry, Ali & Naina were least bothered while Pooja was excited about another party. In the excitement, Pooja asked Ali to be her date and everyone at the table stopped eating breakfast and looked at Ali for answer along with Pooja.

Ali started to choke on food he was eating and Aalekh patted his back with smirk on his face.

Pooja- Are you okay, Ali? If you don't want to come with me, then I will find another connection. I thought our network will work together as friends.

Ali- Nahi pooja, hum aapke saath jarror jayenge.

Huda- Oy chalo theek hai, punjaban or osool bhai ka setting ho gaya, ab sirf tum teeno ka baki hai (indicating aalekh, sherry & naina)

Sherry- And what about you? Don't you need a date for the ball?

Huda- Oy Huda ka charm aisa hai ki koi bhi ladki uske saath jane ko raazi hogi…

Aalekh- Haan waise bhi ladkiyon ko teri nautanki jyada pasand aati hai.

Huda- Oy, kaidi apni date ke bare main kya socha hai.

Aalekh- apun ko fikar nahi hai, do hafte baad neelu ki chutti hai char dino ke liye, apun uske saath aayega…

Naina- Wow, that's good us bahane neelu se milna ho jayega…

Ali- Haan, unse mile bhi kaafi waqt ho chuka hai.

Pooja(irritated)- Ye neelu kaun hai…

Ali- Aalekh bhai ki fiance aur hamari hone wali bhabhi…

Sherry- By the way, who did you guys go with in NDA at the fresher's ball?

Aalekh- apun neelu ke saath pehli baar wahin pe gaya tha aur ali nahi aaya tha kyonki wo apne ammi se milne ghar gaya tha… aur Huda & Naina saath gaye the…

Naina- Yeah, it was fun when kunal sir & maya ma'am danced on those filmi songs.

Aalekh(smiles)- Huda ne un logo ko jo fasaya tha…

Huda- To phoolan, tu is baar bhi mere saath chal rahi hai na….

Naina- Sorry, Huda… Not this time aur waise bhi tujhe date ke liye koi problem nahi hogi…

Ali- Aap kis ke saath ja rahi hai?

Naina- Well, it's a surprise so just wait until the ball…

Huda- Oy theek hai phoolan, mat chal… how about you sherry, do you mind being my date?

Sherry- Well I very much do, but it's ok to come with you as I am not interested in this ball or finding a date and anyways, if I will come with you than it will annoy bhaiya and it will be priceless for me so sure I will come with you…

Everyone laughed at her reasoning to go with Huda and Huda was annoyed but also happy that sherry decided to come with him as he wanted beautiful date to go with his personality, and sherry was challenge and better option than other academy girl cadets.

After the breakfast, everyone had a drill with Major Niar and as usual it was bad for everyone as MC started to tell everyone how weak they were and how much exercise they needed.

After the morning drill, first year cadets had a class with Captain Naveen & during the class, everyone was excited about fresher's ball and naveen seemed happy to see cadets excited. After the class when everyone was exiting the class, naveen called out for Naina.

Naina reluctantly stayed behind and every one else left.

Naina- Yes?

Naveen(with serious brotherly tone)- Look, I am sorry for whatever happened but I really want things between us like before and I know that it's not easy for you but at least you can give it a try considering that I am your brother please…

Naina looked at him and she could feel his hurt in his tone that he really did miss her in past year. She wanted to fight with him and said so many things that why he wasn't with her when she needed but somehow she was at loss of words. She thought about what aalekh said to her earlier about trying to sort things between them. She replied after some moments of silence.

Naina(softly)- We sure can try bhaiya…… but it will take time…

Naveen smiled as it was the first time she called him "bhaiya" after she came to KMA.

Naina- I am late for my other class so I should go…

Naveen- sure, I will see you later…

Naina left to attend next class which was Captain Nandini's and she was unusually happy as how well things were turning out…

The next two weeks passed quickly and Raj, Naveen & others also decreased their distance with cadets. Raj was surprised as well as happy when Sherry asked his help to get out of the academy instead of breaking any rules. He also asked Sherry about her date but she said it would be surprise for him and same thing happened with Naveen when he asked Naina about her date. Naina's friends were wondering too about her date and kept asking her but she didn't give in.

Raj asked Dr. Mishra to go with him to the fresher's ball as there was no one else to go with him and she happily agreed. There was so much chaos for cadets about dates, outfits, and dance in those two weeks.

Naina was practicing her steps for formal dance as she wanted to learn so she asked Captain Abhimanyu for help as he was good at that dance and Naveen wasn't in the academy for two days before the fresher's ball. But at the last minute, Abhi had to go somewhere so he told Raj to help Naina practice some of the steps which Raj happily agreed.

Naina was in the mess at night and she was waiting for Abhi but he didn't come so she started dancing on her own. She was a great dancer but she just doesn't have any practice of formal dance. Naina thought of dancing on some similar rhythm (Just like Madhuri danced in Dil to pagal hai movie in her dance school), and she started dancing unaware of Raj's presence at the door. Naina was so lost in dancing and Raj was so lost looking at her. Suddenly Naina saw Raj standing at door and she stopped, and Raj also came out of his senses.

Naina- Sorry, I didn't know you were here…

Raj- You are a great dancer…

Naina- Thanks….

Raj- Well I am here because abhi couldn't make it and he asked me to see if you need my help but it looks like you don't need any help.

Naina- Well, I actually do need help for formal dancing steps as I didn't do that before.

Raj- Not even at NDA in fresher's ball?

Naina- Well no, there were some reasons that we didn't do it and anyways I didn't know how to…

Raj- Well then shall we dance?

Naina nodded and Raj started teaching her steps and they both enjoyed dancing.

The day of the Fresher's ball:

Everyone was busy getting ready and there were many chaoses in boys' & girls' hostels. Every cadet wanted to look good tonight as many of them wanted to win title today but some of them were just interested going to the party and have some fun.

Sherry, Pooja & Naina were getting ready in their rooms. There was a knock on the door, and Pooja opened the door.

Pooja- Yes? (Asked a nice looking girl dressed in red halter neck dress)

Girl- Hi, my name is Neelu and I think this is Naina's room…

Pooja- Oy, tum ho aalekh ka lifetime connection. Please come in…

Neelu didn't understand a word Pooja said but she smiled and came in.

Naina was very happy to see Neelu after a long time. Sherry also met Neelu. Everyone was ready except Naina who didn't even put her dress on for the party. She was in her casual jeans and t-shirt and was helping sherry & pooja to get ready.

Sherry- When you are going to get ready? We all will be late for the party, and who is your surprise date?

Naina- For the 100^th time, It's a surprise so you are not going to know until we enter the party, and I am going to be a little late as he is coming late so you guys go ahead and we will be there.

Naina & Sherry were arguing when there was another knock at the door. Naina opened the door, and found Ali, Aalekh & Huda standing there looking dashing in their black suits.

Huda- Oy phoolan, tum log abhi tak ready nahi ho… Fresher's ball aaj hai kal nahi…

Naina- I know huda and everyone is ready so don't worry you won't be late. Come in, Neelu is here too.

Aalekh- Neelu aa gayee, and he rushed inside followed by ali, huda and naina.

Aalekh hugged Neelu longingly and Huda and Ali also hugged her as they were meeting her after a very long time.

Ali looked at pooja and he was stunned, and Huda was also speechless when he saw sherry.

Ali- Aap bahut khoobsurat lag rahi hai pooja…

Aalekh- Ye le punjaban, tu aisi pehli ladki hogi jisko ali ne dekhte hi compliment sunaya…

Pooja(blushed)- Thanks ali..

Huda- Hye, kya aaj poora KMA hilane ka irada hai aap ka miss sherry… You are looking gorgeous agar hamare dushmano ne aaj tum ko dekh liya to yun hi tum par jaan de denge jung ki koi zaroorat hi nahi padegi.

Sherry- How sweet, so when are you sacrificing your life after or before fresher's ball.

Everyone laughed at sherry's comment and Huda didn't mind her either as she was really looking beautiful tonight.

Aalekh- Oy naina, tujhe nahi aana kya…

Naina- You guys go ahead; I will be there soon…

Huda- Oy phoolan, tu fresher's ball pe to aa rahi hai na…

Naina- haan huda, now all of you go so I can get ready.

Everyone left while chattering away with each other. On the other side, Naina started to get ready. Naveen, shalu, abhi, nandini, Raj & ritu were already in the party. All of them were looking forward to see all cadets and their special six. Soon, Ali & Pooja made their entrance into the party. They both got 7 points being Cool dude and Hot chick. After almost five minutes, Aalekh entered with Neelu and they both achieved 8 points at the meter. They joined ali & pooja at the party.

Naveen, Raj & Abhi were standing at near distance from them with their dates.

Raj- Cadets, you all look very nice tonight.

Ali- Thank you sir…

Abhi- By the way cadet aalekh, won't you introduce us to your date?

Aalekh- sure sir, this is Neelu my fiance and Neelu these are my teachers.

Neelu- Hello sir…

Abhi- Hello, well I didn't know you were engaged cadet aalekh, congratulations to both of you.

Aalekh- Thank you sir.

Naveen- well enjoy the party, and where are your rest of the friends.

Pooja- Actually sir, wo teeno signals busy hai jaldi aa jayenge…

All four of them excused themselves and went to get something to drink.

Raj was talking to Ritu and his back was towards the entrance. He asked something to ritu but she didn't answer and her eyes were at the entrance. Actually all eyes were at the entrance as they saw a stunning couple entering through the door. Raj turned around and he was shocked to see the scene.

Huda & Sherry were entering in the party, and there were many whistles heard as male cadets saw sherry. Raj never saw sherry in formal dress before and his sister was looking really beautiful but she came with Huda!!!!!! That was a bit much for him.

They both got 9 points at the meter and made their way where Raj & Ritu were standing.

Huda- Hello sir, ma'am… How are you tonight?

Raj(muttered)- Ab tak to theek tha… ab pata nahi…

Sherry- Is something wrong bhaiya?

Shalini & Naveen made their way to them by now and shalini answered as Raj was looking at them in disbelief.

Shalini- Nothing sherry, you look really beautiful tonight…

Ritu- Yes cadet, you are really pretty…

Sherry- Thank you. Huda and I will go and join our friends… Enjoy the evening…

Raj was still shocked and Naveen was wondering where is Naina and who is she coming with.

Naina was ready in her room, and tonight she decided to dress totally different. She knew that everyone will be there in modern dresses so she decided to wear nice red & black sari with matching jewelry. She left her hair loose and wears enough make-up. She was looking simply gorgeous, and she didn't need anything to add to her beauty. All she was missing now was her date and she knew that he would be there at any minute.

Suddenly the door was knocked and she went to open the door…

Naina opened the door, and we see a handsome young man in his tux standing there looking really dashing. He was also speechless seeing Naina so beautiful in her red-black sari.

"I didn't know you ever wear a sari naina; you are looking really beautiful." The young man complimented her as he came in.

"Well, I didn't know you would look this handsome in tux either, karan." Naina answered with a smile.

"Ok, so what is our plan of action for tonight?" Karan asked Naina.

Naina- Well, I am ready to give shock to them and have some fun; are you ready for that?

Karan- I am ready too, and this is my chance so I will not let anything out.

Naina- Then shell we go and I am hope that you are ready to face the situation and tell him everything.

Karan- I am a little nervous as I don't know how well he would take this?

Naina- Don't worry, you will be fine. And besides, I am with you to finish this once and for all.

Karan gave her his hand and told, "Let's go then."

Naina smiled and gave her hand and they both walked towards the party.

Meanwhile in the party, naveen & raj both were wondering where was Naina and they were about to ask her friends when Brigadier chandok came to the party with his date, Miss chitra who was his school girlfriend. But somehow they didn't get married to each other. BC got married to someone else and Chitra got married to someone else. After so many years, both of their life partners aren't in the world, so they decided to resume their relationship once again as Chitra's son who was in London wanted his mother to be happy and BC wanted that too.

BC greeted faculty members and suriji gave him a mike to announce the formal dance so the party can begin. BC took mike in his hand and he was about to announce when Naina made a grand entry with her dashing date.

All cadets started to cheer for them, and all Naina's friends' were totally surprised to see her date (except sherry & pooja who had no idea who Naina's date was) Naveen was equally confused as he didn't know about Naina's date either and so was Raj, abhi, shalu & nandini.

But her date gave a biggest shock to Brigadier chandok and suriji was happy and surprised too. They both made their ways to the meter and both of them got 10 points being hot chick and cool dude.

Abhi told BC to announce the formal dance as he saw him totally shocked. BC did that shortly and started the party. BC & Chitra and other faculty members danced formally on a short song and then they put some music so cadets can dance.

Meanwhile, Naina introduced Karan to sherry & pooja. Pooja & sherry were both little shocked to know who karan was.

Huda- Oy kya entry hai tum dono ki, maan gaye…

Aalekh- apun bhi hairaan ho gaya tha tujhe dekh ke…

Ali- so you are here to tell the big news?

Karan- yes.

The dance was over and cadets were dancing. Karan asked Naina to come with him and they both made their way where BC & Chitra were standing. BC was telling something to chitra and chitra told him to be patient as they will soon find out. Naveen, Raj & Abhi were standing near where they can hear BC with drinks in their hands.

Karan & Naina came to BC.

Karan- Hello chitra aunty… Hi dad…

At that time, Naveen was drinking something, and as he heard Karan telling BC 'dad', he spat his drink out.

Raj & Abhi had same reactions. Naina was too calm and smiling all through this.

BC- Karan, I didn't know you were coming…

Karan- I thought, I should surprise you and then when I talked to Naina, we thought fresher's ball would be a great idea…

BC- Well it certainly was a surprise, and I didn't know you and cadet singh know each other.

Karan- Well, we know each other for a long time now… and you know she is my old friend.

BC- well, enjoy the party and we will talk later……

Karan- sure…

BC & chitra left shortly after that, and Huda dragged Karan & Naina both on dance floor. They all started to enjoy dancing with each other. After sometime, karan & naina went to grab drinks when they saw Naveen & shalu standing over there along with abhi, nandini. Raj was trying to stop ritu for drinking too much.

Shalu- Naina, you are looking really beautiful tonight… won't you introduce us to your date?

Naina- sure why not????? Karan, this is my lovely soon to be bhabhi dr. shalini, abhimanyu sir, nandini ma'am and My brother naveen… and this is karan, my really good friend, and of course as you all know by now, brigadier chandok's son.

Naveen- It's nice to meet you.

Karan- same here sir, dad used to talk about your batch a lot…

Abhi- well, achi ya buri baatein?

Karan- achi baatein, he wanted me to learn a lot of from your example…

They chatted a little when Naveen tried to find out more about Naina & Karan but eventually stopped by shalu.

Sherry & Huda were announced Miss & Mr. Fresher as Naina told suriji not to count her points for this contest as she already became Ms. Fresher once at NDA. Suriji was delighted to meet karan as he knew him for a long time. He was happy that Karan found such a nice girlfriend Naina but both Naina & Karan cleared his misunderstanding that they were just good friends, that's all.

The conversation was heard by Rajveer, and he didn't know why but he was happy to know that Karan wasn't Naina's boyfriend.

Raj saw Ritu total drunk, so he decided to drop her at her room while others were enjoying the party. Karan & Naina also left the party as Karan had to go back in the morning and he needed to talk to his father.

Huda & sherry were dancing with each other while Aalekh & Neelu were busy talking and Ali & pooja were talking too (actually pooja was talking and ali was listening to her silently). Abhi & Nandini also left from there to get some privacy, and so were Naveen & shalu.

Raj dropped Ritu off at her room and wondered whether he should go back to party or not. Finally he decided not to as all faculty members and his friends must have left and cadets were enjoying themselves without teachers so he was going to go to his room but it was only 11:00 pm and he wasn't sleepy at all, instead he decided to take a walk near lake as he figured it was quiet there right now.

He was at lake when he saw Naina standing there lost in her thoughts. She was looking extremely beautiful in that sari, and her face was glowing from the moon light, and she had the small happy smile on her face that Raj saw for the first time after she came here at KMA.

Raj went near her and she was broken from her thoughts as she felt someone's presence near her.

Raj- Hi, you are here alone? Where is your date? Has he abandoned you so soon?

Naina- Hi, well I can ask the same question to you as you are here alone too.

Raj(smiled)- My date was more interested in getting drunk than me so I just dropped her at her room…

Naina also smiled at his answer.

Naina- My date is right now with his father catching on as he has to leave tomorrow.

Raj- Well it was quite a shock for everyone when you showed up with him. Naveen was so confused and Brigadier chandok looked so shocked.

Naina(laughed)- because, they thought we had some kind of connection with each other, but I don't know what the big deal was. He wanted to meet his dad and I wanted a date for fresher's ball so we both thought it would be a good idea and we hadn't seen each other for a long time so… And they all thought he came here because of me…

Raj- Then why did he come?

Naina- You ask too many questions…

Raj- Sorry… Naveen thinks there is something between you & him.

Naina- good, then let him think that way. At least, he won't worry about other male cadets in academy going out with me for time being… Well I heard that you were also shocked seeing sherry with Huda… What was that about?

Raj- It's huda… didn't she find anyone else?

Naina- She didn't because she knew it would bug you and that's why she said yes to huda…

Raj- So there is nothing between them…

Naina(laughs)- come on… why all of you think that if two people go to a dance together then they must have relationship… You went with Dr. Mishra so does that mean that you two are getting married in near future.

Raj- No, not at all… It was just dance…

Naina- Exactly, so stop worrying about sherry and she would do whatever she wants to whether you like it or not…

Raj- I guess you are right…

Naina- well of course I am….

Raj- so what are you doing here?

Naina- again same question?

Raj- I am not talking about here at KMA as I know you won't answer me that easily. I am just asking here at lake…

Naina- Nothing just taking a walk…

Raj- Let's take a walk then…

Naina smiled and joined him for the walk. They both were walking silently. Naina was looking at sky which was very clear and stars and moon was visible clearly in the sky. Raj was looking at her but he didn't know why…

Raj- Naina, you are looking really beautiful tonight…

Naina turned her face in his direction and with a smile- Thank you, and by the way you don't look too bad either…

Raj smiled at her comment and he saw that Naina was shivering a bit from the chill so he took his coat and put it on her.

Naina just looked at him and she could see the care in his eyes. She was amazed at the fact that whenever she looks at him, she feels an unknown feeling that she can't explain. There have been three years before they met but since they met, Naina always felt something special for Raj. Raj became his good friend over the years. Today situation is different that he is her teacher but still she couldn't see him as her teacher instead she can only see him as her friend.

Naina- I think I should go back. It's quite late…

Raj- Yes, I will walk you to the hostel.

Raj walked her to her room where Naina gave his coat back.

Naina- Thanks for the coat…

Raj- You are welcome… bye…

Naina- Bye…

Raj left the hostel but at the entrance he saw sherry & huda who were laughing at some joke heartedly. A smile came on his face when he saw his sister laughing. It was after a long time and he thought Naina was right. Two persons or friends can go together for some fun and happiness without some kind of label of relationship between them.

He left from there before sherry or huda can spot him.

On the other side, karan went to meet his dad after he & naina left the party.

Karan went to BC's office where BC was alone as chitra had already left.

Karan- where is chitra aunty? I hope I didn't spoil your evening by interrupting right now…

BC- Don't be silly son, and I am so happy to see you… It had been six months…

Karan- I am so happy to see you too dad… and I have some news to tell you.

BC- Is it about you & Naina? I will respect your decision and I will be happy to accept your relationship… Naina is a sweet girl.

Karan(laughed)- Dad, slow down… There is nothing between me & naina and we are just friends… and that's all…

BC (disappointed) - Oh, I thought since you two came together so…

(Actually BC always liked Naina since he met her when she came to KMA on republic day and Naveen's graduation. He didn't blame cadets for kunal's escape as he thought they were just immature. He actually liked the idea of his son having Naina as his life partner.)

Karan- You are sounding so disappointed… Did you really think that she is my girl friend and I came here to tell you that…

BC- The idea doesn't sound that bad…

Karan (laughs)- I am here to tell you that my application has been accepted and I will be joining the training to become fighter pilot from next week, and I wanted to tell you this in person so I came tonight.

BC hugged his son proudly and happily.

BC- I am proud of you my son… I know you will be a great fighter pilot of the army.

Karan- Thanks dad; I will never let you down…

The other morning was quiet without any incident. Karan had his breakfast with Naina and her friends in the mess before he left. Neelu also left as she had to start preparing for exams. Cadets passed the remaining day playing games, joking and talking to each other.
