Part 11:
Baba explained to Armaan and Riddhima that he wanted to see them get married. He wanted Armaan to put the sindoor from the same sindoor kha dhibba that He and his son had wed their wives with. He wanted Armaan to put the mangal sutar that his grandmother had bought for her poth bahu.
Armaan and Riddhima had agreed. Baba was happy. After discussing times Armaan asked who would be marrying them.
Baba: beta mein chata tha ki, lakshimi devi mandir ka pandit aap dono ki shaadi kare, lekin use kisi aur ki vi shaadhi karne hai, aur uske upar voh free nahin hai char maheno ki liye.
Armaan: Tho phir shaadi kaun karega?
Baba: Usne kaha tha ki voh apne bhateje ko bheje ka mandir mein aur voh shaadi thumari karega.
Armaan: Uska bhateja, maine khabie usse dekha nahin....
Baba: beta, maine kahan dekha hai...vaise mujhse kiya lena dhena...mein tho sirf thumari aur ridhu ki shaadi dekhna chaata hoon.
Baba smiled at Riddhima...who smiled back and then lowered her gaze. She didn't know how to react. She wanted to jump up and say "tehro..tehro...yeh kya hoa raha hai..." but she didn't have the himmat.
Armaan smiled at his Baba. His mind started formulating his plan. He thought to himself, baba has not see junior pandit..no one has. This might just work.
Baba: acha beta good night...kal bahut kaam hai.
Armaan and Ridz: achaji...good night.
Armaan and Ridz too got up and went to their room.
Ramu came to give BAba his milk.
Ramu: Sirji kya teek hai joh aap kar rahein hai.
BAba: kya karh rahein hoon...aur kuch seedhi ungli sai na nikle use dhedi ungli karke nikalna chayeh.
Ramu: Lekin sir, jabh ve aap sochte hain ki armaan aap ki bhaath nahin maan ne vale, aap koi na koi dhard mehsoos kar lethe hein...ik na ik din Armaan baba koa maloom parh jayegah.
Baba: Maloom....lekin mein bhura hoa chookan hoon, aur hoa saktha hai ki us waqt mein sach much bimar parh jaon.
Ramu: Sirji, aap khabi shubh nahin bolthe. Jai Ram ji ki aur good night.
Baba laughed: Good night Ramuji.
In Amraan's room, Riddhima was lying in bed trying to wrap her mind around what was going on. Armaan was lying on the day bed smiling to himself and thinking he had come up with the perfect plan.
Ridz: Armaan....ARmaan.
Armaan: sorry...kiya hai Basket.
Ridz: kya hum mandir mein sach much shaadi karengai. mere papa mere saath bahut naraaz hongai...unkoa mein kya bhataongee.
Armaan: mein khabie vi thumein museebath mein dhala hai....
Riddhima sat up in bed and stared across at Armaan with anger.
Armaan: I mean apart from now. Basket don't worry, maine sabh kuch soch liya hai. Sabh teek hoga...thum sirf mandir mein aajana...aur voh bhi dulhan ki roop mein.
armaan Smiled at Riddhima...Basket aur dhulan ki roop mein. He couldn't even imagine such a sight.
Riddhima relented: teek hai....lekin yaadh rakhna mein thum pe vishwas karh rahein hoon.
Armaan: don't worry Bastket...it'll be a slam dunk.
The next morning, Riddhima woke up to hear Armaan on his cell phone.
Armaan: Toh teek hai thum mujhe Lakshimi devi ki mandir milna aur mein thumein paise dhe doonga aur sabh kuch samjha bhi doonga.
Armaan hung up and smiled to himself. What a perfect plan and baba would not even know anything.
Riddhima: Thum kahan kise bhaath kar rahe the..aur kahan jaa rahe hoa.
Armaan: Don't worry Riddhima, mein humari problem solve karne vale hoon.
Ridz: Oh thum baba koa sabh sach sach bhathaogai......
Armaan: ummmmmmmm not quite. but don't worry.
He smiled at Riddhima and left. However Riddhima wasn't too comfortable with Armaan's "not quite" statement. She quickly got ready and followed Armaan out the door.
Baba and Ramu were up to and startled that neither had had any tea coffe or any breakfast...they wondered what was going on. But then went back to the paper.
Riddhima got in a taxi and asked the taxiwala to follow armaan's car.
Armaan's car parked outside the mandir.
Riddhima's taxi parked a little away from Armaan's car. Riddhima got out of the taxi and followed ARmaan and saw him meet a man.
Armaan: teek hai, yeh loa paise. Thum kal yahan pai 11am maujudh hona....mein doosrai pandit koa cancel kardhoon ga. Thum mantar parh dena...parh kyun ki thum actually offical pandit nahin hoa jiske paas registration hai, yeh shaadi legal nahin hoa gi. As far as Baba is concerned, Armaan aur uski pyaari Riddhima will be married. But Riddhima aur mein use waqt bhi purhe kunwara hogai.
He said goodbye to the man. As he turned around he saw Riddhima. Her eyes were Red.
Riddhima: yeh thumara plan hai....naqli shaadhi ki rasam. I can't believe you Armaan, thum bhar bhar mujhe kyun naraaz karthe hoa.
With that Riddhima ran off, got in the cab and headed back to the apartment.
ARmaan quickly followed Riddhima.
He entered the apartment just behind her.
Armaan: Riddhima, meri bhaat tho suno.
Riddhima shouted: mujhe kuch nahin sunna. Jitne bhar mein thumari bhaat sunthi hoa utni bhaar mein musebhat mein parh jaathi hoa. Aur ab thumnein kisi actor koa paise deh kar humari shaadi 11am karni ki plan bhanaya hai. Omigod..i can't believe this.
Armaan gestured his hand for Riddhima to hush.
Armaan: Baba aap kahan hai.
There was no answer.
ARmaan: Ramu Kaka...aap ghar pai hai.
Again there was no answer.
Armaan: Dekho Riddhima agar Baba nahin bimar hote tho mein khabie vee itna bhara jooth nahin boltha. Mein kya karoon agar Baba meri shaadi karna chaatha hein. Joh Baba chatein meri zindagi ley, mein voh abhi abhi nahin chata..thore waqt chaye mujhe.
Riddhima: Aur meri zindagi. kuch dino mein hospital valo koa maloom parh chayegah...phir mein kya karoon gi. Thumnein itna mere bhare mein abhi soocha hai.
Armaan: I'm sorry Riddhima thum is problem mein bhekhdeyan gya. Agar use din Baba nein nahin thumein vapas phone kiya hota tho yeh khabie nahin hota. Riddhima thum tho voh joh hamesha mera saath dhethe hoa. Thum humesha mujhe teek aur galat ka farq kya is bhath kee yaadh dilathe hoa. Ab please mera saath na choroa.
Riddhima; Armaan thum impossible hoa. Thumein abhi isi waqt marnein koa dil kartha hai...lekin dhoosre haath se haath bhi milana chatein hoon kyun ki joh bhe thum karh rahe hoa thum apni baba ki liye karh rahe hoa.
Mein abh bahut confused hoon. ARmaan mujhse itna vaada karo ki hum jaldhee sai jaldhee yeh sabh kuch khatam karleingai.
Armaan: I promise.
armaan hugged and Riddhima.
He moved backwards. He was shocked by what he had heard. Armaan had told such a great lie. But this whole thing had been a lie from the beginning. Everyone would end up paying for this. But one look at Riddhima's eyes indicated that everything would happen for the good. He picked up the cell phone to call someone.
"Kaise hoa?...teek hai, jisi bhi bhejna hai use 11am bhejna...aur us dhin koi aur andhar nahin aana chayeh. Teek hai"
"Teek hai, jaise aap chatein hoa...itna kuch aap dhaan dhethe hoa yeh kaam tho hisaab mein kuch nahin"
"Bhaut ahca ...aur sunno...mein vahan parh saade dus phochunga...kisi koa raste sai hitana hai"
"ram ram...khoon!"
"are kya bhaath karthe hoa...jaan bachana ki peche mein hoon...jaan lene ki nahin"
"teek hai, Jai Ram ji ki"
"Jai Ramji ki" and with that he hung up the phone.
He quietly moved to the front of the apartment without letting Armaan and Riddhima hear anything.
"agar thum itna kuch karh sakhte hoa....yaadh rakhna mein thumare paide karna vale ka baap hoon"
He opened and closed the door.
"Armaan beta, Ridhu beti...dekho mein kya kya lekar aya hoon."
Armaan and Riddhima looked at each other. They stopped their hug and ventured outside to the family room.
ARmaan: Aap agai......aur yeh sabh kya hai?"
Ridz: Wow..yeh sabh kya hai?
"yeh sabh Ridhu kai liye hai...mein voh nay designer store mein gaya tha..aur une kaha ki Nay dulhan kya pehenti hai mujhe voh sabh dhedo...saaris, lenghas...chooriyan. Aur agar thumari pasand aur kuch hai maine thumara account vahan parh kholdheya hai aur voh kehte hai ki jab dil karan thum aajao aur voh thumari purhee tharan sai dekhbal karengai"
Riddhima couldn't believe what she was saying. He was so much love for her.She got up and went to hug him.
Ridz: aap sabh sai ache hain baba......
Baba smiled at Riddhima and hugged her back and his mind he thought to himself
Baba thinking: ARmaan agar thum apne aapkoa master samajhthe hoa tho mein thumara puppet master hoon.
He smiled and thought to himself that he couldn't wait for tomorrow when he really got Armaan Malik and Riddhima Gupta married.
Part 12:
Baba arrives at the mandir early and hands money to someone. ARmaan arrives at the mandir and is shocked by who he sees and then even more shocked about how he feels when he's someone else. 😊
