Kuch Kehdia- Chapter 4

Here's another chapter =D sry 4 the delay, it was my friend's birthday, and I slept over her house. No time for updates

Mahi ran to her into the bathroom.

Yeh Shabd kyun itna kuch karrahahe? Itna kuch karne mein koi to vaje hoga! Aur Rajjidi and Sonidi usko itna acha insaan kyun soch ti hain? Jaroor koi manzil hoga. Mujhko thought Mahi.

Deciding that she would only pretend to alright with everything until she finds out why Shabd was doing everything. She calmed herself down and walked towards the table. While she was walking, she was in deep thought about how she was going to explain herself to the rest of them. All of a sudden, she bumped into Shabd.

"Sorry, Shabd" she said.

"Sorry, morry ki koi jaroorat nahin hai. Ab tum bolo tum bhagkar kyun chali gayi."

"Shabd, um, mujhse bahut bari galti hogayi. Dekho, I'm really sorry. Mujhe pata nahin kya mujhe ho gaya tha. Please mujhe maf kar dena."

Shabd was shocked. This much change in less than five minutes? He thought.

"Theek hai, koi baat nahin, leken agar kuchbhi tumko parishaan karrahihe, to mjhe bata de na." He said.

"Nahin, Shabd. Tumne kuch nahin kare siva humare bhala sochna. Mein such much me sorry hu."

"Theek hain to tum mere ek baat mano gi?"

"Haan, kuch bhi. Bolo."

"Tum sorry bolna bandh karo."

"Sorry… oops."

"Chalo." Saying this, Shabd brought Mahi back to the table.

"Sub kuch to theek hai?" Asked Rajji, concerned.

"Haan, didi. Sub kuch theek hain."

They all finished their lunch. When dessert time came, Shabd secretly told one of the waiters to get a small cake for Mahi.

"Usme ek candle bhi lekar aana."

When the cake came, Mahi was so surprised. Everyone sand "Happy Birthday" and she blew out the candle.

"Two cakes in one day!" She said to Soni, who laughed.

After dessert, Shabd asked Rajji if he could drop them home.

Mahi cut in, "Nahin Shabd, hum pauch jayenge. Tumko parishaan karne ki koi jaroorat nahin hai."

"Mahi, mujhe to tum teeno ko pick up karna hi hain naa, concert ke liye. Tumhare address bhi nahin janta hoon. Tumko chor kar dono cheezo ek saath mein ho jayege."

"Shabd theek kehrahahe, Mahi."

Shabd smiled because he knew he had just won another silent battle against Mahi. She had no other choice but to oblige. Shabd told the girls to wait at the restaurant while he got the car. Soni and Rajji started asking Mahi what had gone wrong in the restaurant.

"Kuch nahin, main bus thora sa kharab feel kar rahi thee."

"Mahi, itni si baat nahin hai. Tu to itni assaanise aisse nahin karti. Jaroor koi baat kai jo tu humse chuparahi hai."

Main kaise batao, Rajjidi? Tum to meri baat hi nahin manoge. Thought Mahi

"Bol Mahi, kya baat hai?"

"Baat hai ki-"

Mahi was cut off by a sound of a car horn.

"Mahi, Rajji, Soni! Aajao!"

"Chal Mahi, baad mein batadena."

Phirse Shabd mujhko merihi behnoko mujhse cheen liya. Usko to kuch karke dikhanahi hai! Mahi thought in her head.

Soni and Rajji shot for the back seat, leaving the only other seat next to Shabd for Mahi.

"Soni, mein teri saath behtna chahti hoon."

"Leken Mahi, problem kya hai? Mein Rajjidi ki saat beht gayi hoon. Tu Shabd ki paas behtja."

"Soni, tu hut! Mein Rajjidi ki saat kuch baat karni hai."

"To baad mein karde, abhi tu beht. Hum late horahi hai." Concluded Rajji.

"Koi problem hai, Mahi?" Enquired Shabd.

"Nahin. Theek hai."

Once Mahi got in the red hot convertible, Shabd tried to make conversation with her.

"To Mahi, tum kis type ki cheez pasand karti ho?" Asked Shabd.

Mahi stayed silent in thought.

"Mahi, shabd kuch pooch rahe hain." Snapped Rajji, bursting Mahi out of her thoughts.

"Main bolti hoon," said Soni, "Isko, bahut romantic cheez pasand hai. Bahut simple ki cheeze jaisi lal ghulab, choti choti chocolate, aur sabse zyaada, love stories."

"Wow, love stories?"

"Haan, duniya mein sare love stories Mahi ne par liya. "

"That's quite impressive."

The rest of the drive went like this; they held small chats about eachother, while Rajji directed him to their house.

"Aa gaye." Announce Rajji.

Mahi went to open the door, but it wouldn't open. She kept on trying to budge it open but I refused. All of a sudden, Shabd's hand rested on hers. She was shocked. She just looked at him, speechless. Shabd smiled.

"Yeh aise nahin kholte." He whispered to her.

He let go of his own hand and reached for the unlock button. He clicked it and Mahi's door was unlocked.

"Ab try karo."

Mahi pushed the door once more and this time, it worked. She was free. She stepped out of the car with her head down. She refused to look at Shabd.

"Thank you Shabd. Tumko humme chor kar bahut bare madat kiya. Hum tumko shaam me dekhenge." Said Soni

"Ok. Bye."

When Shabd left, Mahi, Rajji, and Soni all went inside to get ready for the night.

Again sorry for the delay. The next chapter is the CONCERT! Im really excited to post it up. Just leave a message if u REALLY wanna know. lol. nd ill put it up =D

Kuch Kehdia- Chapter 5

Here's another chapter. =D

All three daughters in the Malhotra family were happily in their own rooms getting ready for the bug concert. They were helping each other out in deciding which dresses to where, checking each other's makeup, doing each other's hair, and even chatting about what was to come.

"Mahi, tu such much mein bahut lucky hai ke teri birthday par, tu Angad ko dekhni wali hai." Said Soni as she was putting on her eye liner.

"Haan, Mahi, tu bahut lucky hai. Aur tere luckne hi to Shabd ko lekar aya. Aur Shabd bhi ne humari kitna madat kiya. Mian yakeen nahin kar sakti hoon kea b kuchi der mein hum Angad ko milenge!" Said Rajji, excitedly.

"Yeh Shabd ki kya baat hai? Humari kismet mein tha ke hum Angad ko dekhenge, aur humme milgaya." Retorted Mahi.

"Arre, main to bhuli gayi. Mahi, tu kya batane wale thi Shabd ke bare main?" Said Rajji.

Main ki Rajjidi ko batadu? Nahin, mujhe aise nahin karna chahihe. Rajjidi meri baat kabhi nahin manega. Mahi decided.

"Uh… kuch nahin Rajjidi. Bus aise."

"Theek hai, koi baat nahin. Soni, teri baal khatam. Yu kitna soni lagrahihe. Bilukul teri naam ki tarha."

"Thanks, Rajjidi."

"Soni, thanks kehneki koi jaroorat nahin. Main to tera bari behen hu."

"Soni, teri to baal ho gaya aur make-up bhi jaldi se khatam hogi. Aur Rajjidi, tumhari baal bhi khatam hogaya. Meri to itna time to dress chunne pe khatam kardiya. Ab agar main jaldi naa karu, to mein concerthi miss karungi." Said Mahi in a worried tone.

"Mahi, chinta karneki koi jaroorat nahin. Hum hai naa. Aur waisebhi, sabse sundar to sabse der mein khatam karti hain. " Replied Rajji.

Even though Rajji reassured her, she was still worried. For some reason, she had a sudden desire to look her best today. As if to attract someone. She had no idea what she was thinking so she continued on preparing for the concert.

The closer it was getting to 7:30, the time Shabd had told them to be ready at, all the girls were getting more and more frantic for the concert. The concert started at 8, and would last for two and a half hours.

"Wow, mujhe yakeen nahin horaha hai kai ub ek ghante mein, hum Angad ko dekhenge." Said Soni.

"Haan! Sub tere vajese, Mahi. Agar tere janamdin na hote, to hum kabhi bhi soch bhi nahin sakte ke humko tickets miljayenge."

The three sisters chatted and talked until they heard a loud doorbell.

"Lagta hai Shabd aageya." Said Soni.

Soni and Rajji ran to the window to see if it was Shabd's car. They were happy to see that it was.

While the three sisters were upstairs, Brijji opened the door.

I have to talk to this man tactfully. I have to make him trust me. Otherwise, my whole plan will be ruined.

"Hi, mera naam Shabd hai. Main aapke betiyon ko pick-up karke, concert par jaraha hoon."

"Haan, haan. Rajjine bataihe. Aao, andar aao."

"Nahin, uncleji. Humare paas wqat bahut kum hain. Humko abhi issi waqt jana hai. Agar tum un teeno ko bula lenge."

"Theek hai. RAJJI, SONI, MAHI!!!!!!! AAJA! SHABD TERE LIYE INTEZAAR KAR RAHE HAI! " yelled Brij

All of a sudden, Shabd saw a woman walking down the huge staircase. She was wearing a brown and red salwar kameez with a gorgeous necklace and earrings:



Shabd noticed that this was Rajji. His eyes noticed that another woman was coming down. She was wearing a red and green chudidar with matching chandelier earrings:



Shabd realized that this was Soni.

This means that Mahi is yet to come. thought Shabd.

Rajji and Soni came down and greeted Shabd.

"Tum dono bahut khoobsoorat lagrahi ho." Said Shabd.

"Thanks, tumbhi itna kharab nahin lagreho." Replied Soni. They all laughed.

"To hum chale?" Shabd said as he was getting ready to leave.

"Aap kuch bhoolrahe ho." Came another voice. Shabd immediately turned around to see a girl climbing down the staircase in a beautiful long, light pink chudidar. She was wearing two long chandelier earrings and a large silver bracelet to match.



Shabd was completely out of words. All he could do was stare. When he finally found words he said, "Oh, maine to bhooli gaya birthday girl ko."

Rajji and Soni giggled, "Itni asaani se bhul gaya Mahi ko?"

"Haan, itni asaani se bhool gaya aap mujhko?"

Kaise bhool jata, tum hi to mere khayalon mein har waqt rehti ho. Shabd thought.

"Phirse aap?"

By now, Moni had come into the room and stood next to her husband. They were both suspecting something going on with Shabd and Mahi, but did not say anything.

"Sorry."

"Koi baat nahin, hum der horahehe. Ab chale?"

"Haan." Said Mahi.

After bidding everyone goodbye, Rajji, Soni, and Mahi left the house to Shabd's car. They were surprised to see that there was a car behind Shabd's filled with all his friends.

"Hey girls!" Said Abhi

"Hi," the three sisters said together.

Shabd opened the back doors and Rajji and Soni immediately got in. Mahi knew not to say anything because she knew nothing would change if she did. After closing the back door, he opened Mahi's door and Mahi got in. Shabd then sat in the driver's seat and started the car.

"Main music on kar sakta hoon?"

"Please!" Said Soni.

Shabd smiled and turned the radio on. All of a sudden Tose naina lage[/] started playing.

(Guyz plz listen to the songs I post, it really helps the mood of the story.]

"Wow, kitna romantic gana hai." Sighed Rajji. Mahi blushed, but did not say anything.

"Lo aageya." Cut in Shabd, awkwardly.

Mahi was relieved to see that she didn't have to say anything. Rajji and Soni got out of the car, but Mahi had trouble. Seeing this, Shabd got out of the car and opened the door for her.

"Thank you." Said Mahi, shyly.

"No problem. Tum log tickets leke jaao, hum arahahe.

"Theek hain." Said Mahi. She refused to look into his eyes. Rajji and Soni also noticed. They pulled Mahi away from Shabd and into the concert hall.

"Shabd, gari mein kuch huyi kya? Tu to itna laal ho raha hai." Said Amit.

Shabd was surprised. "Kuch nahin hua, tu bhi na!" said Shabd, hitting him on the shoulder. Amit, Raj, and Abhi all laughed. They followed the girls into the hall. After a few minutes, they all found their seats. Rajji, Soni, then Mahi. Next to Mahi was Shabd, then Raj, Amit, and Abhi.

"Ladies and gentlemen, before we present the one and only, Angad, we would like to present the rising female voice of India, Kripa!

As the announcer left the stage, music started playing. All of a sudden, a woman appeared on stage. She started singing a melodious tune, which then bloomed into a song:

After the song was over, everyone stood up and clapped. Angad announced to everyone that Kripa was going to do this show with him and everyone got even more excited. Rajji and Soni could barely keep in their seats. Mahi, on the other hand, kept on sneaking looks at Shabd.

Uska irrada mujhe pata lagane parega! Thought Mahi.

"Logo, aaj ke concert ek bahut important concept ke uppar base hora jarahihe. Aur woh hai pyar. Ji haan, love. Aur humare next gaane, do volunteers ke jaroorat hain." He started to look into the audience. Many people were raising their hands. Angad was scanning the hall when his audience stopped on two people.

"Aap dono, stage par aao." He said pointing to Mahi and Shabd. Mahi was flustered.

"Main?" she said pointing to herself.

"Haan, aap aur tumhari paas jo baithe hain. Tum dono stage par aao." Said Angad.

Shabd stood up, asking Mahi to come up.

"Main nahin jaaongi."

"Mahi, tumhe aanahi parega. Dekho, Angad bularahe hai. Tum kaise naa bolenge?" Asked Shabd.

"Haan Mahi, tum jaao. Yeh mauka zindagi mein kabhi dubara nahin aayega."

After a few moments of refusing, Mahi finally gave up and went with Shabd on stage.

"Finally, aageya. Ab bolo. Tumdono ka naam kya hai?"

"I'm Shabd."

"Mahi"

"Abh next gaane par Shabd aur Mahi ek doosre ke saath dance karenge." Angad announced to the rest of the audience.

"Leken-" Said Mahi

"Leken Veken kuch nahin, tum dono dance karogi!" Said Kripa.

Seeing that she couldn't do anything and the whole audience was chanting, "DANCE, DANCE!" she surrendered.

As the new song began, Shabd swiped Mahi into a dance. Angad and Kripa started singing Dekho Na:

As they were dancing, Mahi could feel his skin on hers. He was sending shivers down her spine. She was forced to look into his eyes.


Yeh mujhe kya horarahi hai? Main itna kuch kyun mehsoos karahi hoon? she thought.

All in all, she was trapped in her senses.

As the song ended, Mahi was still in Shabd's arms. None of them were thinking. Finally, when the audience clapped, they came back to their senses. Shabd immediately let go of her. Mahi looked down, and went back to her seat. Shabd followed.
