Bani cant sleep, its just not coming to her. Its like something's keeping those eylids of hers wide open and that something is Tara. Tara was her only sister whom Bani considered more of a best friend than a daughter like Rano or Pia. If this is the case then why I am i stressing about the fact that she's going a bit too fast to reach her dreams? thought Bani

Tara had come home earlier extremely excited and happy , she was always someone who tried to lessen Bani's worries rather than increase them like Pia often did. Then again their was a flipside to her aswell. She was imensely talented and the most gifted of all the four sisters. Luckily she had not let the attention go to her head and had her feet firmly rooted to the ground but.......... there were some exceptions. Tara had told them that someone had heard her sing when she was practiscing in the college hall. He turned out to be an executive of one of the leading companies in India. He told her that he worked for the Walia Industries ahem ahem a huge lump had formed in Bani's throat when she heard this.

Tara just couldnt stop herself from going on and on about how he had praised her singing , called her a nightingale and had went on and on praising her. ''How could someone praise one person so much just after hearing her once?'' thought Bani with some guilt. The guy seemed fishy , maybe it was her sixth sense talking but this guy appeared to Bani as having more on his mind than just Tara's singing.

She said something about him giving her his card. Tara mentioned his name was Shahid , oh god thought Bani why is this day getting weirder and weirder by the minute. The wierdness had not stopped there infact it got worse. Bani after fighting with herself to go to the office again and this time definetly give the interview no matter what happend. With this thought planted firmly in her mind she pulled over the blanket and went to sleep.

In another sleeping corner of the city a car is parked abruptly outside a king-sized suburban flat. These kind of flats still had the ''For Sale'' side outside as the only people who could afford them lived outside Shimla. A man half drunk- half awake struggles to get inside and finally is supported by a pair of a strong manly hands inside the flat. He is thrust on a sofa and a glass of cold water is poured on his face-as expected he instantly gains his conscience. ''Aw Geez man Rajeev whats your problem''. Rajeev answers in a frustrated voice'' Look Shahid i didnt bring you all the wy here just to play caretaker again you have to take care of yourself''. Shahid shrugs and says'' Look i didnt ask you to play caretaker did i and anyways i just drank to celebrate your birthday. I mean you dont celebrate it so someone has to.

Now Rajeev is starting to get angry''Look first of all i dont need you to celebrate the day of my birth for me and second of all you know all about my past then why do you..............

Rajeev stops suddnly and all the blood drains from his his face and the horrors of his past surround him , but before remembers it all he sees Shahid collapse on the floor and takes him to his room.

Hi im back with Chp 5-Hmm u want to know Rajeev's past well 😆 we'll find out in a bit😃

''I can do it, i can do it , i can do it!' said Bani for millionth time. Yes she was again having panic attacks but this time there was no turning back. She had done exactly what she did last week. Sneaked out of the house , taken the bus to the city and was now again standing infront of those scary looking gates again.

With every step she took she remebered everything her grandparents had done for her and her sisters. She knew that at this age they needed her to support them. With that in mind again she again approached the eyebrow-less receptionist who was browsing through a catalogue which featurd offers for laser surgery to remove ''unwanted hair''. Bani wanted to burst out laughing because she knew that if the receptionist removed anymore unwanted hair she would resemble on of those naked mole rats Rano was always watching on National Geographic.

Well differences put aside and restraining from laughing Bani said '' Good morning my name is Bani Dixit im here for the job interview''. She looked annoyed at having to look up from her brochure but still managed to remember Bani''Hey! didnt you come here last week aswell look ive told you one too many times NO CHARITY''.Bani begins''I think you didnt hear me right im here for the interview'' as she says this Bani takes out a neatly folded cut out of the Vacancy add.

The receptionist laughs apparently she's not able to restrain herself like Bani. ''Aww too bad honey but i think you didnt notice that the add was given out more than three weeks ago and you must know that people die to work for Walia Industries'' She has a satisfied grin on her face, satisfied because she had crushed another hopefuls dreams.

Bani stared at her not knowing what to say. She knew she couldnt argue with that, it was her fault, she as too late. Tear-eyed she walked away and the receptionist looked triumphant.

Rajeev was walking to the office today, his car had broken down in mid-way and Shahid had been off on one of his girl-hunting safaris again. He kept thinking about how many birthday cards he had received in less than a week and how none of them were from the heart. Mothers must have forced their ''eligible and young'' daughters to write them as most of them wanted Rajeev to be their son-in-law. Rajeev laughed at the prospect of marryin even one of those shallow-minded girls plus he still had dreams of the girl he had seen earlier in the rain.

He kept walking on and on and quite enjoyed the walk as it took his mind of things he'd rather not remember. Suddenly he's eyes caught a glimpse of something unusual. A girl walking on a road full of vehicles. It was like she didnt even know where she was going to Rajeev she seemed kind of lost.

His eyes followed her for some time meanwhile the girl had other things on her mind

'' I cant believe i failed'' thought Bani. My first try at helping Granny and Grandpa and this is how it ends. She didnt see where she was going, she didnt want to all Bani wanted to do was keep critisising herself over her failure. Her eyes filled with tears every time she thought about the fact that their Grandpa gave most of his salary to them and lived himself on minimal wage.

Tears fell down her eyes when suddenly she felt a grip tighten on her shoulder. A grip so tight that it pulled her to one side of the road. A speeding nearby drove away missig them by an inch. She knew that there was another person beside her as his grip was still tight on her shoulder.

She tried to get up but her feet hurt badly as they were bleeding. The man next to her supported her so she stood on the ground limping. She turned up to look at him and instantly she recognised him as the handsome stranger from Walia Industries.
