awww.. even i want angad to stop protecting prithvi and strat thinking about himself! its so sweet that he does that!

i think karhik is a dodgy charcter and he'll run off with the money or something! 😕 and prithivi will be really upset because it would be because of prithvi that it happened(since angad will stop interfering)

neways... 😊 great part!! continue soon!

[SIZE=7>PART 16:

Over the next few weeks, Angad stayed busy with his work and tennis games. He tried not to interfere with Prithvi's new business except sign on papers as needed. Kripa felt bad about what she had said, but she knew someone had to speak the truth. It was high time, Prithvi "grew up," and took responsibility for his actions. Angad had a life too, and he should not feel obliged to 'rescue' Prithvi everytime. Kripa tried to help Prithvi with his start-up, but Prithvi seemed to rely on Kartik more and more. Kripa also thought that Kartik was a big mouth and did not care for him as much. With Prithvi gone for hours or days, Kripa started spending more and more time alone or with her music.

Although, Angad kept his distance from Kripa, he knew she was very lonely-just like he was! One day, when Kripa was listening to some music on the porch while reading a book on the swing, Angad approached her. He sat down on a chair beside her, 'Kripa….tumney fashion design mein course kiya tha na? Uska kya hua?"

"OH…Angad tum? Wo course tho khatam ho gaya…."

"Ab aagey kya karogi?"

"Meri ichcha tho thi ki main apni ek boutique kholoon…..par ab Prithvi ney bhi ek naya business start kar liya hai…..ghar mein do-do naye business kholna…??"

"Soch lo…..I think you should go for it…" He smiled and got up to leave

She called for him from behind, "You really think I should?"

"I am confident Kripa, you will do a great job" he gave her a thumbs up and left.

Kripa thought about what Angad had said, "Main aaj Prithvi sey baat karoongi…"

Kripa asked Prithvi in the evening, "Prithvi…main apni boutique kholna chahti hoon…please meri help karogey….tum tho business ki duniya sey bahut waaqif ho…"

"Kripa…mere paas time nahin hai…waise bhi kuch hi dino mein main itna kamaaunga ki tumhey tho kya kisi ko bhi iss ghar mein naukri nahin karni padhegi….."

"Prithvi, main apney liye kaam karna chahti hoon….sirf paisa hi kamaana tho sab kuch nahin…I want to have an identity of my own…."

"OK…OK…Aisa karo Angad ke paas zyaada time hai….wo help karr dega…."

Kripa knew Angad would never say no, but she had been trying hard to make Prithvi realize his responsibilities as her husband. It seemed, whenever she needed any help, Angad filled in the role of her spouse, rather than Prithvi.

Instead of asking Angad, Kripa decided to start her business on her own. She was talking to someone on the phone about her plans, when Angad came home. He overheard her conversation.

When she hung up, she saw Angad standing next to her.

"Kripa…kis sey baat karr rahi thi?" he smiled at her, as he figured she was talking about her business plans.

"Wo, main ek bank ke loan officer sey baat kar rahi thi…..wo keh rahen ki kal hi business plan dikhaa doon, tho shayad loan approve kar dein…."

Angad sat down on the couch and looked at her pile of papers, "you mind yadi main dekh loon?"

"Sure….tum sey achcha kaun critique kar sakta hai…?." Kripa was in a way relieved that Angad would review her plan. She was still new to the business world and valued Angad's experience in this area.

Angad went over her business plan with her in detail. He helped her modify the plan and worked on her financial details to start the business. They worked late into the night-they had spread sheets, their laptops, papers all over the living room and by early morning, Kripa was ready with her business plan.

"Angad….tumney tho kamaal hi kar diya….it looks so much more convincing now….thanks a lot," she looked at him with a lot of gratitude.

He just smiled, "mention not…waise bhi tumharey liye tho main kuch bhi……" he paused as he just realized what he was about to say.

She knew what he meant to say and just smiled to herself.

"Ab main bank jaakar morning mein hi loan ke liye apply karti hoon…" she changed the topic.

"Main bhi chaloonga tumharey saath…." Angad said, as he got up and stretched. She looked at him in surprise.

"Lekin tumhey tho office jaana hoga?"

"Kuch der ki hi baat hai…..main bank loan officers ko achchi tarah jaanta hoon…ek akeli ladki ko jiskey paas koyi experience nahin ho….bahut pareshaan kar saktey hain…..don't worry, I will be there…." He smiled and got ready to go to bed.

"Angad…did you realize, hum logon ney tho dinner kiya hi nahin!….aur tum kaise reh gaye bhookhey? Tumhein tho bilkul aadat nahin hai…." Kripa was aware that Angad was very fond of food and never missed a meal.

"Pataa nahin…tumharey saath bhookh aur time kaa pataa hi nahin chala…" he said subconsciously, as he was tired and not able to think clearly at this point. As he was walking upstairs, he realized what he had just said. He turned around and saw Kripa collecting all the papers around her but she glanced upwards and saw him staring at her. She just smiled back and thought, 'Angad ke mann ki baat main ek din bulwaa karr hi rahoongi…."

Next morning, Angad accompanied Kripa to the bank and helped her get a small business loan to start her business.

"Humein kisi ki guarantee bhi chahiye …jaise inkey husband ya pita…" the bank accountant said.

"Dekhiye mere husband ney khud abhi apna business start kiya hai….unki abhi income shuroo nahin huyi hai…" Kripa said apologetically.

Angad intervened, "I have a stable job….aap meri guarantee le lee jiye…main inka dost hoon and mujhey in par poora bharosa hai…..she will do very well in her business, warna aap meri poori ek saal ki salary rakh lee jiyegaa."

Kripa looked at Angad with surprise, 'Angad….apni saari salary….yeh kya karr rahey ho? Tum aisa nahin kar saktey…."

Angad ignored her concerns, signed the papers and got up, "Chalo..let's go….I know what I am doing," he put on his dark glasses, as they left the building.

Kripa got busy with starting up her boutique, once her loan was approved. Although, she wanted to do it independently, she realized that having Angad on her side made it easier when she dealt with different vendors and distributors. There was something unique about Angad-he could convince anyone with his charm and ideas. She remembered the incident in London, when he had talked the chef in cooking special vegetarian dishes for her, all for free.

Prithvi tried to advise her from time to time, but was usually distracted by his own venture. "Kripa….tum aisa karo ki apni boutique kisi bade mall mein ya 5 star hotel mein kholo….you will get more clients there…."

"Par Prithvi mera overhead kharcha bahut ho jaayega….main choti si jagah se start karna chahti hoon….and then grow big…."

"Whatever you say Kripa…..maine tho apna opinion diya tha….Kartik bhi yahi sochta hai….waise Angad sey help lo naa….he has good ideas too…." Prithvi picked his bag and left for the airport, 'main 2-3 din ke liye bangalore jaa raha hoon….bye" he gave her a quick hug and left.

Kripa knew Angad would think on the same lines as her. He had already said to her, "always climb up…..never the other way round, warna bahut taqleef hoti hai….."

Kripa had a meeting with a landlord to lease a small space in a local shopping complex. She was a little nervous at taking such a big decision on her own. She took all the lease papers and was ready to sign, when Angad came in, "Hi Kripa…main yahan sey guzar raha tha…tho socha dekh loon tumharey boutique ki location….."

He glanced at the lease paperwork, "May I?"

Kripa willingly gave the papers to him, she was relieved that he was there…..how did he always know where she was and that she needed his advise…..

"Hmm…Mr Tripathi….you need to change some of these conditions on the lease…." Angad spoke to the landlord. Angad made sure that the lease terms were favorable to Kripa's business rather than the landlord. Mr Tripathi reluctantly changed the terms, thinking "yeh kahan sey aa gaya…?"

Kripa was very thankful to Angad, as they left, "Angad….what would I do without you…"

Angad seemed to in an unusually obliging mood, "well…itna hi thank karney ka mood hai tho mere saath coffee peeney chalo….."

Kripa agreed in an instant. They both had tried their best to stay apart and aloof for so long, they did not realize, how eager they were to be with each other….even if it was a simple cup of coffee.

Song in background as they drove to the nearest coffee shop- "tere sang" from 'zameen"

http://www.dishant.com/lyrics/song-6644.html

Tere Sang Ek Simple Si Coffee Bhi Kick Deti Hai

Over the next few weeks, without their realization, Angad and Kripa started spending more and more time together. Angad accompanied her for all her meetings and dealings with various vendors, marketing personnel, distributors, etc…

Kripa became so dependent on Angad, that she scheduled all her meetings according to Angad's schedule. She ended up spending a lot of time in his room at home, as a lot of her files ended up on his desk or his file cabinets.

One day, she was desperately looking for an important file. Angad was downstairs in the living room, finishing up some work. She yelled from upstairs, "Angad….meri red waali file kahan hai…jismein saarey vendors ke contacts hain?"

"KRIPA…OOPAR MERE DESK YA FILE CABINET MEIN HOGI…" he yelled back

She searched everywhere but could not find it. She finally went to his clothes closet, "kahin galthi sey apney kapdon ke saath tho nahin….?"

She opened his closet and started searching in each shelf.

She came across a plastc bag with the initials, 'Hilton Hotel, London"

She remembered that Angad and Prithvi had stayed at the Hilton when they were all in London, "yeh bag abhi bhi iskey closet mein/ Aakhi ismein aisa kya hai?"

She opened the bag and took out a wrinkled shirt with what looked like a red lipstick mark on one sleeve; she then put her hand in and took out a scarf….that was her scarf…the one she had tied on his hand when he had saved her from the goons at the club in London…..she looked at the shirt again…..she remembered the rainy day when she had clutched his arm tightly and her face was buried in his arm as the thunder had scared her. She was stunned and stood there frozen….aaj mujhey wo cheez mil gayi hai jiska mujhey kab sey intezaar tha….Angad tumney mujhey aaj tak I love you nahin kaha….par ab tumhey zaroorat bhi nahin hai kuch kehney ki…..is bag ney mujhey wo sab keh diya jo tum kabhi naa keh sakey……

She had tears of joy rolling down her cheeks…..she knew he had always loved her since they met in London, but had never acknowledged it, but today….she was sure….Angad tumney kaise chupa ke rakha itney din……she was sobbing loudly as she held his shirt and scarf close to her cheeks.

She hurriedly put the contents of the bag inside when she heard some footsteps near the room. She wiped her tears and locked the closet.
"Kripa….kya dhoond rahi ho mere closet mein?" Angad asked curiously

She tried to laugh, 'just checking to see if there are any skeletons in your closet!" she could not hold herself and ran to her room.

Angad was puzzled; he opened the closet and saw a bag fall on the ground- it said 'Hiliton Hotels, London"

He understood what had happened. He felt embarrassed, "Oh God…Kripa tumney yeh kyon dekh liya?"

Kripa shut her door and stood with her back resting on the door. She slid down on the floor, still unable to stop her sobs. It was clear to her now….Angad and she had no name for their relationship….it was just "love"….true unspoken love…a love which had no expectation, no destination…..it was just a "ehsaas"….something that only the two of them could feel….sirf ek ehsaas jisey sirf mahsoos kiya ja sakta hai…..

Listen to this beautiful song from "khamoshi" which expresses Angad and Kripa's love for each other in these beautiful lyrics sung by Lata "humney dekhi hai"

http://ww.smashits.com/music/oldies/songs/...amoshi-old.html

hum ne dekhee hai, un aakhon kee mahakatee khushaboo
haath se chhuke ise, rishto kaa iljaam naa do
sirf yehasaas hain ye, ruh se mahasoos karo
pyaar ko pyaar hee rahane do koee naam naa do

pyaar koee bol nahee, pyaar aawaaj naheen
yek khaamoshee hain sunatee hain kahaa karatee hain
n ye buzatee hai, n rukatee hai, n thhaharee hain kahee
noor kee boond hai, sadiyon se bahaa karatee hain

muskuraahat see khilee rahatee hain aankho mein kahee
aaur palako pe ujaale se zuke rahate hain
hothh kuchh kahate nahee, kaapate hothhon pe magar
kitane khaamosh se afasaane ruke rahate hain

[SIZE=7>PART 17:

Angad came out of his room and saw that Kripa's door was shut. He knocked on her door, "KRIPA…please darwaaza kholo…..mujhey tumsey kuch baat karni hai….please"

Kripa wiped her tears and finally opened the door.

Angad walked in and looked at Kripa, "please don't cry….I can explain…."

Kripa's tears started rolling again, "Angad…..mujhey koyi explanation nahin chahiye…..mujhey jo cheez chahiye thi, wo mil gayi hai…..baat karney se kya milega….chalo main wo file dhoondti hoon…..kal mujhey kayi vendors se milna hai….." her voice was still husky from her crying.

She walked out the door, but Angad held her wrist from behind, "Please Kripa….don't torture yourself…….main tumhara gunahgaar hoon…..mujhey jo saza deni hai….de do…"

Without looking back, she freed her wrist from his grip, "Angad saza tho hum dono roz hi bhukat rahey hain……iss se zyada kya ho sakta hai ki hum dono ek hi chhat ke neeche rehtey huye bhi sirf ek doosrey ko mahsoos kar saktey hain par kareeb nahin aa saktey……shayad hamara yeh benaam rishta hi hamara sab se bada sach hai, baaki sab jhooth hai……kaisa yeh pyaar hai....mujhey nahin pata" she ran out of the room, trying to suppress any more tears from falling.

That evening, Prithvi came back in a jubilant mood, "Kripa…you won't believe it…..Kartik and I have leased a great office building for our new company…..it is on the top floor of one of the new high rises in New Mumbai…..ab bas hamein thode clients aur mil jaaye…we will be all set….humein koyi nahin rok sakta….."

Prithvi did not notice that Kripa's eyes were all sore from crying all day. He was too excited to notice anything, "Main Angad ko jaakar bataata hoon…..wo keh raha tha ki without much cash on our books, we will not be able to get such a luxurious space…..tum theek kehti thi mujhey, I need to break out of Angad's shadow…..dekho Kartik ka dimaag Angad se bhi tez chalta hai…."

Kripa forgot her about her sorrow, "Par Prithvi, tum Kartik par zaroor se zyada aitbaar nahin kar rahe….itni mehngi office space kyon lee? Pehley apna business jamaa tho lo….phir baad mein achcha office le lete…."

"Kripa…you don't understand how this world works……everything is marketing…..ab tumney meri baat suni hoti tho tumhara boutique bhi kisi 5-start jagah hota, na ki ek chote shopping complex mein…."

Tumhari baat ya phir Kartik ki?" Kripa taunted him, as she knew this was Kartik's influence, which was talking, and not Prithvi. She was beginning to wonder, who the real Prithvi was. The one she knew was a sensitive poet and singer, who happened to have a degree in MBA, but what she was seeing now, was a hungry and greedy businessman…..just like Kartik.

"KRIPA! Don't say anything about Kartik….wo meri din raat help karta hai…..anyways tum auratein kya jaano?…..main Angad se milkar aata hoon"

Kripa was hurt by his chauvinistic comment-that too was probably Kartik's influence.

Angad, as expected did not approve of the large and luxurious office space, but since Kripa had once snubbed him for over protecting Prithvi, he decided to stay out of it, "Prithvi….I hope everything works out for you……just remember it is easy to climb up but very hard to fall down…."

"Yaar….tu har cheez ko ghuma phira ke bolta hai…..I think I am confident we will do well, chal zara yeh lease papers par sign kar de…..trust me Angad…..life mein pehli baar main tujhey kuch samjhaa raha hoon….isn't that odd?" Prithvi handed the papers to Angad.

Angad just smiled and signed the papers without reading them. He thought, 'Prithvi…..this one is all yours…..good luck!"

Prithvi became extremely busy over the next few weeks, trying to set up his new office. Kartik had him invest a lot of money into good furniture, computers and latest technology for their office. They had not yet hired too many employees, but built out space for at least 1000 people. They wanted to first have a grand opening of their office. They prepared a list of every who's who in town to attend the grand opening party. Most people saw that the invitation was from 'Prithvi Bose, Angad Khanna and Kartik Agarwal.' They recognized Angad's name well but not Prithvi's or Kartik's.

Angad, although still young, was well respected in business circles. Most people had confidence in the new company, more so because of Angad, rather than Prithvi and Kartik. Kartik was a no name here in Mumbai, although he claimed he had contacts in every corner of the world.

GRAND OPENING OF BOSE/KHANNA ENTERPRISES:

A lot of people had gathered for the grand opening party. Kripa was dressed in a beautiful navy blue chiffon saree with halter-neck blouse. She wanted to make sure that Prithvi's party was a success-it was her responsibility to support her husband, whether she agreed with his views or not. Angad was also dressed in a navy blue suit, white shirt and blue silk tie. Prithvi wore a gray suit.

Dilip was a proud man, "mere bete ke liye aaj bahut bada din hai….dekho aaj mere dono bete aur bahu kitney achche lag rahey hain…." He said as the three of them walked into the party arena. Kartik had arranged for a live band, photographers and news reporters from various newspapers were there to cover this event. Angad was a little uncomfortable with the press being there, "Prithvi….abhi pehla customer tho aa jaye, phir itni publicity karna…..abhi tho kaam bhi shuroo nahin huya….," he whispered.

"Yaar…Angad tujhey kya ho gaya hai?….meri tarah darpok banta ja raha hai…..no risk, no gain…." Prithvi boasted.

Angad was pleasantly surprised-he had never seen Prithvi being so confident- but he was afraid this was over-confidence!

Suryabhan was also there. Kripa greeted him at the door, "Papa….main bahut khush hoon ki aap bhi aa sakey…"

"Bhai aata kaise nahin….after all mere damaad ke liye bahut bada din hai…kahan hai mera damaad?"

Prithvi was busy talking to some guests, but Angad saw him come in, "Hello uncle…bahut achcha huya aap aa sakey….ab tho aap walking stick ke bina bhi chal saktey hain….great!" Suryabhan had completely recovered from the residual effects of his stroke.

Kripa smiled to herself when she saw Angad fulfilled Suryabhan's desire to meet his "damaad."

As the party was in full swing, Dilip came to Kripa, "beta….aaj tumhey yahan gaana sunana padhega…..kitni tareef suni hai tumharey gaaney ki….."

Kripa was shy, but Suryabhan and Angad encouraged her. Prithvi also joined them, "Haan haan Kripa…please aaj ke din nahin gaaogi tho kab gaaogi?"

Kripa sang this beautiful song (also featured in original KYPH)- "seene mein dil" from "koi aa sa" (the female version only)

http://www.dishant.com/lyrics/song-28279.html

Angad and Kripa kept stealing glances as she sang the song. They both knew who that song was meant for.

The band then played a song and all the couples came to the dance floor

Prithvi mustered the courage to go on the dance floor with his wife. Kripa did not seem that interested, but Angad intervened, "Kripa…Prithvi ka aaj mood hai tho dance kar lo….phir kitney saal lag jaayen, pata nahin…."

Kripa gave Angad a sharp look as if saying, " tum jaante ho main kis ke saath dance karna pasand karoongi," but she obliged as a dutiful wife.

"sama hai suhana"

http://www.dishant.com/album/once-again-dance-mania.html

Samaa hai suhaana suhaana
Nashe main jahaan hai
Kisi ko kisi ki, khabar hi kahaan hai
Har dil mein dekho, mohabbat jawaan hai
Hm mm mm, hmm mm mm
Samaa hai suhaana suhaana

Kripa kept glancing at Angad as she danced with Prithvi. Angad also gave her loving looks from time to time. He just sat around with Suryabhan and enjoyed the music.

Hm mm mm, hmm mm, hm mm mm, hm mm mm
Keh rahi hai nazar nazar se afsaane
Hm mm mm
Keh rahi hai nazar nazar se afsaane
Ho raha hai asar ke jisko dil jaane
Dekho yeh dil ki ajab dastaan hai
Nazar bolti hai, dil bezubaan hai
Hm mm mm, hmm mm mm
Samaa hai suhaana suhaana

Kartik was standing a little away from the dance floor, but spotted Prithvi and gave an indication to Prithvi to join him. He wanted Prithvi to meet an important person.

"Excuse me Kripa…..main abhi aata hoon…." Prithvi knew that it was important to meet the person standing with Kartik. Kripa was a little relieved but before she could sit down, Suryabhan intervened, "Beti….dance mat chhodo……bahut achcha gaana hai dance ke liye……Angad beta tum join kar lo Kripa ko…."

Angad hesitated but Kripa's inviting look made him stand up and hold her hand….they danced on the remaining part of the song:

Kripa could feel his tight grip around her bare midriff. She savored his warm breathe so close to her face....their fingers played games with each other what their bodies desired, but could not......this is the closest they would probably be.....and they wanted it to last a life time.....

Angad had never seen Kripa look more beautiful and desirable.....he was tempted to put his lips on her creamy bare shoulders.......her skin glowed against the dark blue fabric of her saree........her fragrance was driving him insane.......

Ho gaya milan dilon ka mastaana
Hm mm mm
Ho gaya milan dilon ka mastaana
Ho gaya hai koi kisi ka deewana
Jahaan dilruba hai, dil bhi wahaan hai
Jise pyaar kahiye, wahi darmiyaan hai
Hm mm mm, hmm mm mm
Samaa hai suhaana suhaana
Nashe main jahaan hai
Kisi ko kisi ki, khabar hi kahaan hai
Har dil mein dekho, mohabbat jawaan hai
Hm mm mm..

Suryabhan was pleased to see the smile on his daughter's face……kaash main yeh baat pehle samajh gaya hota….

Angad and Kripa were lost in each other's eyes even when the song finished. Kartik, who had eyes like a hawk, noticed how intimate Angad and Kripa were while dancing, something he had not noticed Prithvi and Kripa to be….. "hmm kuch tho gadbad hai…."

"Yaar Prithvi…..tuney bataya nahin teri wife dance ki itni shaukeen hai….."
Prithvi turned around to look at Angad and Kripa dancing, "haan wo tho hai….chalo achcha huya Angad aa gaya…..mujhey beech mein usey chhod kar aana padha…."

"Lekin tujhey bura nahin lagta ki wo kisi aur ke saath dance kar rahi hai…."

"Bura? Kyon?….Angad aur wo ek doosrey ko pehley se jaante hain….they are good friends……Angad has never looked at Kripa that way…."

"Are you sure?"

"Hutt yaar….main Angad ko bachpan se jaanta hoon…..he is like that with all women….I am surprised abhi tak usey kisi se pyar kyon nahin huya…."

Kartik was still not sure whether Angad and Kripa's relationship was that innocent, "Achcha would you mind yadi main Kripa ke saath dance karoon?"

"No, not at all…..I trust my wife more than I trust myself!" Prithvi punched his fist into Kartik's chest and walked off to meet someone else.

Kripa was standing with someone else after the song was over, when she saw Kartik approaching……

hey the last 2 parts were fabulous..........i really liked the part where finally kripa found out tht angad loves her........it was sweet of angad the way he helped kripa with the bizness plans n everything.....i am starting to think tht prithvi doesn't care abt kripa cause all he thinks is how to get more money 😊 he doesn't spend time to understand wat kripa wants unlike angad who knoes wat she wants n try to help her......it is for the best tht they both get time to spend w/ each other.........kartik is trying to get prithvi to
waste more money n tht is it i hope he doesn't misbehave w/ kripa cause i noe tht prithvi might stand it but angad might not so i don't want anything bad happen over there......i really hope tht prithvi listens to angad before it get too late cause he is very sentimental.........i just want AK to be togather no matter wat....... 👏 u wrote it very nicely......... 😆 😉
