Another Escape
Angad was not all that surprised to see the cops in front of him. He expected the cops to eventually show up because of the fact that he and Kripa had ran away in a public mall and if he was to be correct, malls have about three dozen cameras facing the parking lots. He was sure that the mall cameras had picked up his license plate number from his bike and the cops showed up like magic.
"I am officer Willis, we believe you had kidnapped a super model, Kripa Sharma. We have a search warrant and had the right to search your apartment" Angad just looked at the officer in amusement, leaning against the door ledge with his arms crossed. There were two cops in front of him one was Willis and another was most likely a trainee, because the guy looked in his early twenties.
"I did not kidnap, Miss. Kripa Sharma but if you don't believe me then you can ask her yourself. She is in my room. She fainted in my apartment. Oh, and if you meet her dad tell him he is an idiot when it comes to understanding his daughter." By saying that Angad went and sat on the couch, keeping the door open for the cops the search his home if they liked. The cops came in like idiots searching the house while Angad just sat there while the cops went into his room calling ambulance for Kripa because she had fainted.
"She does not need an ambulance, she will be fine if you let her rest and have her eat well." Angad called out to the cops from the living room in amusement, thinking as to how stupid cops could really be. "Shut up" one of the cops yelled at Angad coming out of Angad to him in the living room. Officer Willis came up to Angad and hand cuffed him putting him it to the police car. All the while Angad saw many flashes of cameras on him from the press. It was obvious that the press found out about Kripa's little outing and most likely her rich daddy made it look like he had kidnapped Kripa when he did nothing of the sort. Angad knew he should have never gotten involved with the rich prissy princess, trust fund kid.
While being pushed into the police car Angad could hear questions like "Mr. Khanna why did you kidnap Miss. Sharma" or "did you rape Miss. Sharma" and many other questions. Some were personal and others were idiotic. Now, he knew what it felt like to be famous. It felt like you were a prisoner.
*****
I was around ten at night when Kripa had woken up again. She was surprised to wake up in the hospital with her dad beside her, sitting at the edge of the bed. The last thing she remembered was screaming her head off at Angad.
When Troy saw Kripa's eyes open he hugged her in relief. "Oh, thank god you are ok, Kripa" Troy said in great concern. The only thing Kripa could think of at the time was, where is Angad. She did not know why but there was something about the man that left a mark inside of her saying he was someone different, someone that did not see her as a super star but a real person. "Dad, where is Angad" Kripa said with her dad still holding on to her. Troy was surprised when his daughter said, where is Angad. How could she say where is Angad when she was unconscious in his room, in his bed!
"Kripa, he is in jail," Troy said with concern for Kripa. Troy was worried like crazy that something might have happened between his daughter and biker boy in the few hours that Kripa had gone missing.
When Kripa heard that Angad was in jail she felt that her life was ripped strait out of her. Angad was the first person in the world that had talked back to her. He was the first person that called her a prissy. In the few hour that Kripa had spent time with him, it was like she was free and she was not willing to give that up. "Dad! Why is he in jail? You have to get him out!" Kripa yelled throwing a tantrum.
Many doctors came in to the room hearing Kripa scream. When the doctors first came into the room they saw her face turning red and then slowing going to purple. The doctor ran to Kripa to calm her down, if she kept throwing tantrums nonstop from the last time she fainted she could go in to a comma or a depression.
"Miss. Sharma, calm down." The doctor said grabbing both of Kripa's wrists. Troy now stepped in and also tried to calm Kripa, but it was no use she just was not willing to listen. "Ok, fine I will remove all the charges I put against him and get him out of jail!" Troy said yelling over Kripa's yelling. When Kripa heard this she calmed down drastically. Her face was red from the yelling and her lips trembled in fear.
"I want to see Angad" Kripa said in a very fast pace, farthest away from clam tone.
Troy did not want his daughter to throw another tantrum and just agreed. Troy's original plan was to keep Angad in jail for as long as possible but for that you would have to go to court and Kripa would be eyewitness. Troy expected Kripa to testify against Angad but it was obvious that she would not do that. Troy did not see the point in keeping an innocent man in jail if he did nothing wrong to his daughter but Troy was going make sure that after Angad met Kripa in the hospital, he would never see Kripa again.
Troy called up his lawyer and told him to drop all the charges put against Angad and to bring him to the hospital as soon as possible.
It took a very long time for the lawyer to convince Angad to go to the hospital. Since Angad was no longer in jail he did not have to go with the lawyer to the hospital to meet Kripa and the truth was he did not want to meet Kripa. That girl had done enough damage in his life as it was and he did not want more. Angad had decided that he would get on his S15 and ride to Mexico to get drunk and he did not want distractions from rich, trust fund, prissy princesses.
Never the less the lawyer convinced Angad by telling him that Kripa could go in to a depression or a comma if he did not see her. Angad always hated feeling guilty. He was a big sucker when it came to doing the right thing. He remembered when he was little and his grandmother had said there is someone always watching you and if there is no one to watch you then you will know that you did something wrong. It was one of those times when Angad was feeling bad about it. He decided to give Kripa a quick visit and leave the country to Mexico to get pissed drunk.
In front of the hospital there were many press members flashing cameras all over the place. As Angad stepped out of the limo that was sent for him with the lawyer, he saw ever member of the press go in to shock. All the flashes of cameras stopped, every thing when quite. All the people were shocked; they expected Angad to be in jail for life after the rumor started about Angad raping Kripa until she fainted on his bed.
When Angad and the lawyer started walking towards the hospital building was when the flashes of cameras started up again. "Mr. Khanna, how did you get out of jail" one press member said, "Why did you rape Miss. Sharma" Another press member yelled but Angad answered none and went in to the hospital with the lawyer.
When Angad entered Kripa's hospital room she was sleeping and he would not balm her after all it was three in the morning even he himself was tired. The only thing Angad did not understand was, why didn't the press take a break?
Troy stood up when seeing Angad and leads him out of Kripa's room. "Mr. Khanna pleasure of meeting the man that helped my daughter runaway." Troy said with sarcasms while extending a hand out toward Angad to shake but Angad did not lead on. Instead Angad just shoved his hands in his jeans pockets.
"Sir with all due respect, I am here to see Kripa so she would not fall in to a depression or a comma, not to hear you blabbing mouth talk nonsense." Angad said with a shadowy voice almost like he was the hardest person to figure out.
"She is sleeping right now, can you wait till she wakes up" Troy said in a serious voice as soon as he learned that Angad was not in humorous mood. Then again what kind of man would be laughing after coming out of jail.
Angad hated the guilt thing so much. He should have just said no I am sorry but I am in a rush but instead he said "Fine I will wait" Angad just did not understand, why couldn't he be a rude jerk and just leave.
Kripa woke up again around five in the morning and the first person she saw was Angad and her dad walk into the room. "Angad" Kripa said with a smile so happy to know he was no longer in jail. Kripa got out of her bed and hugged her dad "Oh thank you for getting Angad out of jail, dad" Kripa said so happy that no word could describe her happiness.
"Dad I want to talk to Angad alone" When Kripa said this he was not willing to let his daughter have another chance of running away. "No" Her father said firmly. Angad at that moment felt bad for Kripa, she had to live with the press all round her and when she wanted her alone time her dad was all around her. "Dad please, I promise I will be right here when you walk throw that door again." Kripa said, although she had broken many of her promises towards her dad like she would never again go to a nightclub, this was different. Kripa had no intensions of running away this time and she wanted her dad to see it. "Ok, but only five minutes" by saying that Troy left the room, closing the door behind him.
Angad had Kripa lie down on the bed again and he just sat on the stool beside her bed. "So, how are you doing" Angad asked with common courtesy. "Good, thank you" Kripa said, touched that a man that she only knew for a few hours was asking her well being instead of saying can I have your autograph.
"Kripa, I did not want to come here but I did not think it would be fair if I just disappeared when you paid me seven hundred dollars for a place to stay" Angad said with a little laugh. Angad always hated coming to hospitals mostly because his grandmother, mother, father, and little sister died in a hospital and even though Angad knew Kripa would not die he did not want a mental picture of his family before they had passed away. "Angad, when I get well can you promise me you will help me run away again" When Kripa said this, for the first time Angad understood Kripa. For the first time he felt like he knew why Kripa would want to run away from the press. He had to deal with the press for only two minutes and was reading to punch them down. Kripa on the other hand had been dealing with the press all her life.
"Kripa, I came to the hospital to tell you that I am leaving the country" When he said this he could have sworn that a ton of color from her face turned flushed pale. "No, you cant go" Kripa said almost as if he was dieing, almost as if she could not live another second with out him.
"Kripa, I am going, I will leave today. This will be are last meeting; your world is different from mines. My world is from beer cans and pretzels sticks while your world is sampan and caviar. We are two different people with two different lives. I cannot take you with me. I am sorry" By saying that Angad stood up to leave but Kripa's soft beautiful voice stopped him. "Angad if we by change meet again, do you promise to take me away again?" Kripa said looking at Angad intensely.
"Sure, why not" By saying that Angad left Kripa on the hospital bed going back home to pack his backpack to Mexico while Kripa just thought that she would again go back to her world of riches and misery.
*****
Kripa was discharged from the hospital around seven in the morning, outside, the clouds where very gray almost close to pitch black. Kripa loved it when the weather was stormy, when every it would get very stormy it would reflect so many emotion, sadness, love, pain, happiness, and much more.
Kripa sat inside the limo, followed by her father who was scolding her for running away and the mess he would have to fix up for her with the press. She did not listen to her father one bit she was to busy looking out the limo as rain started to fall. The limo started to glide though the heavy rain and soon stopped at a stoplight.
Kripa was sure that she would faint again if her father did not shut up talking to her and the press vans did not stop following her limo. It was then that Kripa saw a S15 motorcycle in the heavy rain with a man wearing a black and role blue helmet with a black leather jacket. She knew right away it was Angad's motorcycle and she had to find a way to distract her dad before the stoplight opened again.
"Hey dad what is that" Kripa said pointing in the opposite direction from Angad. Troy turned his head and at the same while Kripa popped opens the lock to the limo and made a run for it though the heavy rain. She got on to Angad's bike and just yelled for him to ride.
Angad was shocked as hell when he felt someone get on to his bike and hold his waist for support. He turned to see it was Kripa and instantly remember the promise he had made a few hours ago say if they met again he would help Kripa run away again. Before Angad could think another thought he rode off with Troy running after them, after trying to run after his daughter and behind Troy were about five dozen press vans behind Angad's S15.
Angad had never been chased like this before in his life. Press vans, cops, you name it. It was like the world was after you and you were just running away from it.
It wasn't that hard to lose the cops, police were always dumb in Angad's book of knowledge but this was the first time he was dealing with the press, he knew nothing about the press but he did know one thing and that was the press would do anything to get a story.
After doing many twist and turns Angad finally lost the press also. Once out of all human contact Angad stopped his S15 in the heavy rain in a dark ally. "Kripa there is no way I am going to take you to Mexico with me" Angad said yelling over the heavy rain. Kripa did not expect Angad to take her with him but she was just not willing to let this chance to go. Kripa had noticed the black backpack on Angad shoulders when he was ridding and there was no drought that every thing inside the backpack was wet just like her and Angad's clothes.
"I don't care, I want to come with you" Kripa screamed over the rain, with it. Angad was in no mood of a fight, he just wanted to get out of this place and ditch the trust fund but his stupid grandmothers voice came in his head say do the right thing, you know she is miserable. Show her the colors of the world. Angad wanted to punch himself for loving his grandmother so much but he knew he would never be able to live his life in peace if he broke his promise with Kripa. "Fine, I will take you to Mexico, we will get pissed drunk together and then I am bring you right back to California, you go your way and I will go mine, no more promises, no more anything, understand!" Angad said strictly. He knew very well that spending to much time with rich trust funds could never turn out good and he was just not willing to ruin his happy life for a stupid, prissy, rich chick. "Get on, princess" Angad said throwing the spare helmet to Kripa and wearing a helmet himself. Kripa gave a grin before putting on the helmet and then said, "Any thing you say prince rider."
Please comment on what you think of this part. So if any one is confused here it is....we just found out that Angad did have a family with a grandmother. mother, father, and a little sister, and they all passes away....then we found out that Angad will take Kripa with him to mexico and then bring her back to Californa. i thought this might be a confuseing part because i wrote it in a rush so if some one is still confused then please tell me😛
