Just Friends.

Ridhima: Innocent to the boot, never let the world's expectations effect or mould her. Had an amazing group of friends, and has developed a strong trust and bond with them. Believes in a lot of things, excluding love. Always thought of it to be an overly-exhausted word, used by kids, teenagers and adults alike. Often by those whose relationships have gone kaput and down the drain. Studious and moralistic, always puts her friends and family before most things, and has always, always put others wishes before hers.

Though has she had enough? Does she want to just let go for once?

Armaan: Though he never admits it (scoff), he is the most modest guy ever (gag); Armaan Malik is, you may call it, one of the most handsome creatures on this planet. Sure he doesn't boast about his looks (yeah right), nor does he consider himself a womaniser (rolls eyes), the girls just seem to flock around him for some reason.

Okay, so that was total lies. He is not modest, he is most definitely a man-s**t, and proud of it. Though he is a down-to-earth and an amazing friend, and is respectful of girls and their wishes. The girls who come to him are aware that he isn't, and never will look for a relationship. He does not believe in love either. What guy does? He lives for the moment, and is very protective of his friends and family. Never one to support guys who disrespect women, he will go out of his way to make a woman feel beautiful and loved. Might have something to do with growing up with a single mother, and a girl childhood friend, who refused to respect his private space.

What happens when you want to let go for once? Want to experience the..dark side? Want to give into the desires? For Ridhima Gupta, she has lived her life by her morals and her parents' expectations. However when a wake-up call makes her realise that maybe, just maybe, being the "perfect daughter" isn't what she wants, will she give into her desires and end up proposing a deal to a friend of hers? It was innocent fun, she was living up a bit, and he was helping out. They started off as just friends...will they become more?

So this is it! If there are any problems (like being freakishly similar to someone else's fic. By that I mean word-to-word, or the character sketches?) Since I have a reputation of delayed updating, therefore, I am going to try and finish my ongoing fics (at least one of them) and get to updating this one. Meanwhile, I'll keep writing this fic, so it'll result in faster updates, when I do start :)

Summary

Circumstances were such that before they knew it, Arnav and Khushi found themselves at the altar, ready to be man and wife. Khushi's dreams of finding her price charming had gone down the drain from the moment her Buaji arranged her marriage to the rich business tycoon of India. Arnav's bachelor life had been put on hold since his Nani arranged his marriage to a conservative middle-class girl. For Arnav, Khushi was like a thorn in his life, he had to put up with. For Khushi, he was like a devil in disguise, whom she had to suffer for the rest of her life. Can they learn to put past their differences and maybe find love?

This is a work in progress. Going to finish off my other fan fictions, before I start uploading this one. Keep a watch out for this!
