Angad frowns and heads downstairs to sleep on the couch. Meanwhile at the Nanda House, Anjali is giving Kavya the silent treatment while Kavya is sitting on their bed sulking, Anjali gets into a bed and pulls the covers over herself and faces the other way, before Kavya can come towards her she turns the lights off, Kavya reluctantly goes to bed
Part 4
Angad is in his office looking through a file, he nods his head and calls his assistant into the room
A - this schedule needs to be changed Jenny
J - why sir?
A - the meeting with Mr Kapoor and Mr Nanda may run longer than it says here so...push my following meetings forward by an hour
J - ok sir
A - thanks Jenny
Jenny closes the door on her way out, Angad sighs and leans back in his chair, he grabs his mobile and dials Kripa's shop number, it rings and Kripa answers
K - Kripa Fashions, how may I help you?
A - you can start by not being mad at me
K - Angad....I'm busy
A - Kripa come on, its been three days and you're still mad?
K - I'll talk to you later I have a customer
A - ok, I just called to let you know I'll be late, the meeting with Neev and Kavya may run late causing the rest of my meetings to run late, so don't wait up
K - ok, bye
Kripa hangs up before Angad has a chance to say bye, he frowns and continues doing his work. Its now 3PM and Neev is on his way to the meeting, he is on his handfree talking to Prachi
P - you're still going to the meeting?
N - yes
P - ok...don't make a decision until I've looked at the files, please
N - ok whatever you say
P - good
N - but I assure you it will be a good merger
P - maybe....maybe not
N - I'm here, I'll be late, don't wait up, bye
P - bye
N - I love you....
P - I love you too
Neev hangs up and enters the building, he is going towards the receptionist when he bumps into Kavya
N - hey Kavya
Ka - Neev, how are you?
N - good you?
Ka - I'm ok, did you talk to your wife .....
N - yeah she didn't tell me anything
Ka - me neither, must be some secret
N - must be, shall we go?
Ka - sure
Neev asks the receptioist where Angad's office is then him and Kavya make their way there. When they arrive Neev knocks on the door and Angad opens it
A - guys, come in, have a seat
N/Ka - thanks
A - I've prepared a proposal of the project, read through it, if you think something needs changing then please say
The meeting gets into full swing with the three guys discussing the business propsal thoroughly, each have their say and finally come up with a finalised plan
A - shall we sign the contract now? or do you need to discuss it with your wives?
N - Prachi did say not to make any decision before talking to her but I think this plan is great how it is, I'm willing to sign now
Ka - yeah count me in
Angad smiles and takes out three similar contract papers
A - they all say the same thing, we all need to sign and theres one for each of us
Neev and Kavya nod their heads and the three guys sign the papers. They shake hands
N - this calls for a celebration
Ka - maybe after I've talked to Anjali
A - yeah I agree with Kavya, I need to make sure Kripa doesn't kick me out of the house, so we'll discuss everything with our wives then celebrate.....this weekend?
N - cool, I'll organise the party
Ka - great
The guys head off separately to their houses, Angad reaches home first, he goes inside to see Kripa designing a new outfit, he sits next to her and kisses her cheek
A - nice design
K - thanks, it for Mrs Agarwal
A - nice....Kripa
K - yeah
A - hypothetically if I signed the contract, what would you do?
K - why? did you?
A - answer the question first
K - I'd....never kiss you again and never sleep in the same room as you
A - really?
K - yes
A - looks like the couch is my new buddy then
K - why?
A - I signed the contract
Kripa puts her design down and faces Angad
K - what?.....
Scene switches to Kavya and Anjali
Ka - I signed the contract
An - but I told you not to!
Ka - Anjali you know me better than anyone else, I do not make business decisions unless I have read through everything at least 4 times, and I have just spent the last 3 or 4 hours discussing every inch of the project with Angad and Neev, only then did I agree to sign
An - fine, if anything goes wrong don't blame me
Ka - things won't go wrong because I have you to support me
An - I will support you....but if you ask me to be friendly with their wives then don't bother
Scene switches to Neev and Prachi
P - Neev....what did I say before you went into the meeting? Don't make any decision until I have read the files then why did you agree to sign!!!!
N - have I ever made a wrong decision?
P - not until today!
N - if this project was with.....Mr Virani or Mr Agarwal, would you object to it?
P - ......
N - only because it is Mr Khanna and Mr Nanda, you're acting like this, and that too because of some personal enemity between you and their wives, which none of you are telling us, so how can you blame us?
Neev hugs Prachi and holds her in his arms
N - this is the right decision, I'm sure that with time, whatever differences you have with Mrs Nanda and Mrs Khanna will be solved
P - like you know anything....
Prachi pulls away and goes into their room, she locks the door and opens her cupboard and begins looking for something. Kripa and Anjali are doing the same thing at their houses, each of the girls find a photo album, they sit down and simulateously open the albums, the girls look sad while looking at the photos inside. They hear their husbands calling them and put the albums down clearing showing several pictures of Prachi, Anjali and Kripa when they were younger who look very happy while standing together or hugging each other
coming up - the flashbacks (was going to add in this part but it made it too long so I'll post it as a seperate part and it will more than likely take up 3-4 parts)
