Lakshya points outside the window where Prithvi along with Kripa's parents and her brother Nishant (Hiten Tejwani) step out of a car and head towards the main door.
Angad looked at Kripa's shocked face as she backed away onto the sofa, he rushed to her and took her into his arms protectively
A - its ok, nothing will happen
N - Angad....
A - yeah mom
Naina handed him two rings
N - one for you and one for Kripa, if we are going to make this marriage beliveable at least start by wearing wedding rings
A - ok mom
Angad handed Kripa her ring and slipped his onto his finger, Kripa looked at his loving face then at everyone in the room who all treated her as part of the family, Kripa kissed Naina's cheek and slipped the ring onto her finger. The doorbell rings
L - I'll get it
Lakshya answers the door and faces Prithvi and Kripa's family
P - Lakshya....
L - you ok?
P - I'm better
Prithvi sees Angad over Lakshya's shoulder
P - I'm not here to cause trouble Angad, I'm here with Kripa's family, they want to see her
Angad stands behind Lakshya and smiles
A - come on in
Prithvi and Kripa's family step into the house, Dilip and Naina come
L - mom dad, you know Prithvi
P - aunty, uncle, meet Kripa's parents, Suryaban and Gayatri Sharma and her brother Nishant
Su - nice to meet you
D - yes
G - where is Kripa?
K - I'm here mom
Kripa came out from the living room and faced her family, Nishant came forward and hugged her
Ni - are you ok?
K - yeah bhiaya I'm fine
Kripa looked at Angad who nodded his head, seeing it as a go ahead she stepped forward and hugged her parents
G - we were so worried
Su - these past few months...only we know how we have spent them without you
G - why did you go like that?
K - mom, dad I'm sorry I hurt you but I'm not sorry I ran away
D - Kripa why not take your parents in to the living room
K - ok..
Kripa led her family into the living room with Prithvi following, everyone sat down after they met Sujal and Kavya
G - why did you run away?
K - because.....
A - because she didn't want to marry Prithvi....she never loved him because...she always loved me
Angad sat next to Kripa and took his hand in his and began with his lie
Su - what?
P - are you serious?
A - of course, me and Kripa met years ago through some friends and we had become very close, I had always told her I loved her but she never confessed her feelings to me so I always felt she didn't love me
Kripa smiled
K - then Angad left London, and I met Prithvi, I thought everything would be fine with Prithvi but I could never forget Angad, then we met in London and he told me he still loved me which was when I confessed I love him but by then I was engaged to Prithvi
Ni - so everything you said about Prithvi....
Kripa looked her brother Nishant in his eyes to reassure him she was telling the truth
K - was true, I said it to break the marriage for two reasons, because I didn't want our family to be ruined and because I wanted to be with Angad
A - and when she told me you weren't allowing her to break the marriage, I told her to run away and she did, she came to Manchester and came to me
Su - and?
A - and we got married, and we're both happy
P - what!
Prithvi's eyes fell to their hands interlinked with each other while clearly showing their wedding rings, how had he not seen them before, Prithvi stood up and faced Kripa and Angad
P - this can't be true, Kripa is my fiance!
A - she was Prithvi but now she is my wife
L - its true Prithvi
Ni - Kripa how could yo take such a step and not tell us?
K - you wouldn't have let it happen
P - I don't believe any of this!
Su - I agree with Prithvi....
Ka - I think they want proof Angad
Angad smiled and left the room, he came back seconds later holding the marriage certificate, Lakshya had done some stuff to it to make it look old and not as brand new as it was, Angad handed it to Suryaban
A - our marriage certificate, we got married in court with my brother Sujal and Kripa's friend Sahil as witnesses
Su - that Sahil....
Suryaban handed the certificate to Prithvi who handed it to Nishant after looking at it
Su - well Nishant?
Ni - its....real dad, Kripa is legally Angad's wife
Su - how could you do this Kripa! after everything we did for you!
Kripa stood up and faced Suryaban
K - you did a lot for me papa, I know, you and mom both have. I will never forget that, but I also can not forget that you believed a stranger over me when i tried to tell you Prithvi's reality
Su - thats enough Kripa!
K - exactly papa I had enough, so instead of doing what you wanted, I did what I wanted and came here and married Angad, what's so wrong in this? unless you wnated me to stay with that ******* all my life?
Su - Kripa!
Suryban lifted his hand to hit Kripa but it was caught by Angad who had rage in his eyes
A - do not make this mistake of hitting my wife Mr Sharma
Su - she is my daughter!
Suryaban pulled his hand away
A - yes she is your daughter but she is also my wife now, and I have vowed to protect her
P - uncle lets leave
Prithvi, Nishant and Suryaban headed outside, Gayatri faced Kripa and hugged her
K - I'm sorry mom
G - ....me too, Angad come here
A - yes aunty?
G - here
Gayatri handed him some money
A - what's this?
G - since you are Kripa's husband now, I am your mother in law and it is my duty to give some sort of shagun to you, I don'thave anything with me but this money so please accept it
Angad smiles and takes the money
G - and please keep Kripa happy, she is yours now
Angad and Kripa take her blessings, Gayatri faces Naina and Dilip
G - I'm sorry on behalf of my family and I hope you accept Kripa as your daughter and not your daughter in law, and please forgive her for any mistakes she makes
Naina smiles and sees Gayatri out, Angad breathes a sigh of relief, Kripa waits until she hears the front door shut close before running upstairs
A - Kripa!
N - let her go Angad, she needs to be alone
Upstairs Kripa collapses onto Angad's bed and cries, she takes out her family photo and looks at it
K - I'm sorry mom, I have never lied to you before in my life and today I said so many....I'm sorry mom
Kripa held the photo close to her while she cried
coming up - Gayatri wants a proper traditional wedding for Kripa and Angad....what will the Khanna's and Kripa do now?
