All Nidhi cares about right now is giving Gaurav more money. the books, store, Tara don't matter.

One child is suffering? Nidhi does not see Tara's suffering? Does she count at all?

Tara made a mistake promising Harkeerat uncle part of the sale money. If he was getting paid fairly for his job, there was no need for that. This will be another thorn in Nidhi's side now.

Tara is the only one who cartes about the store. Without support from her family, how can she pull it off? Nidhi sems to want to parcel off the whole thing to Gaurav because the other two don't need it the way she sees it.

“I can drop it off at ur brother’s” he winked, “Before we head out to the airport”

“Well I have to return next week to meet with someone that wants to rent Zenith, so I can pick it up then”

She nodded quietly

“Do you have help at the store?”

“Hmm… I called Harkeerat Uncle”

“Great”

“Umm… Pradyut, Sharma Purohit wanted to settle on the transaction for sale”

“Oh yes…. I can have one of them fly down to Delhi”

“Umm… nahi… I promised Harkeerat Uncle a chunk… and my Mom doesn’t know” she mumbled

He sat down and looked at her deeply

“What size chunk?”

“20 lakhs ish”

“Oh”

“Plus I have to pay creditors for supplies and a whole lot of things for the new store, she pulled up her laptop from bedside and stared at numbers.

“How much in debt are you?”

They had a staring match

“I will be fine”

“Course!” he was sarcastic

Room service brought food snack and beverages

“Thanks for ordering food that was exactly the same as my brother’s house dinner menu” she looked up from her spinach quiche and banana bread

“It sat in the frig” he made a face

“Tum nahi khaate ek din purana?”

“Not when I am pregnant” his lips twitched

“Good to know” she smiled back at him

“I just see one bag, where is all ur stuff?”

“At my parents”

“Still cooking some devious plan?” he asked coolly

“You can check with Mom (choking up) Umm… NO”

“Taara… come here”

“Nahi”

He got up and went to her

“Khaane do mujhe”

“Am I ur escape from ur mother?” he growled

Harold climbed on to his lap, as if he knew Pradyut was going to reach for her

“I am not running away” she lied

He pulled the fork from her hand and set it on her plate, and turned her toward him, pulling her closer

“Teaching my kid to lie?” he warned huskily holding her chin

He was incorrigible

Am waiting to see how they take it ahead this time.
Pradyut atleast understands Taaruni’s is vulnerable. I do hope Taaruni deep down knows he isn’t merely and escape for her. But something that her heart desires.

If only she could tell him, she feels safe when he is around for her. But I guess that will take sometime.

He never really has pampered her or gone overboard
