She was at Sumedha’s the next two evenings because father and son had work dinners, Sumedha texted her that Pia is “on call” so she canceled her date night with friends, brought Harold with her

He couldn’t contain his excitement as the house approached, he was literally ready to break the window glass and leap out

The guard put him out of his misery, as she paused by the gate and lowered the window

Harold loved everybody!!

Pradyut was his favorite, he took him on long runs and let him creep in between his workspace and himself when he rewired every dan thing at home as a hobby!!

Weekend mornings she found him usually laying sideways with a giant hole in the wall with wires sticking out, or in the balcony or in the kitchen or bathroom

He was changing and redoing stuff, making everything smarter, there was a closet in his office with what looked like servers to her with a bunch of wires banded up

Harold at times climbed up on top of his back and stared into wherever he was peering or twisting or turning the tool

She had taken a few pictures of it

“Kya kar rahe ho? Room mein fan band ho gayi”

“I am putting all the fans through the same router”

“I am not going to send emails through my fans, I don’t need a router”

He lay back and smiled at her, reaching out with an arm

“Main neeche nahi let sakti, this mutt walks all over the streets and brings back ick”

“Cmon now” he gently tickled Harold’s neck”

“Come get him”

She went up the stairs by herself, Harold was too busy playing fetch

She wondered if she should bring him with her to Chandigarh

Her nephews will be delirious fosho

She found herself catching her breath as she went up the stairs

Sumedha was blown away by how lovely she looked in a dark pink and orange wavy patterned kurta and olive green pencil pants

She rarely wore Indian, these pants had elastic and she loved them

“You look gorg, did u get a facial”

“Nope” she sat down and sighed

“Busy day?”

“Hmm”

“Don’t worry, he is not here, he went on a two day trip”

She knew who….

“Gaurav”

“I have left that man Bhai, so you should leave their home and return to your life. You are not getting your inheritance by still being a freeloader on the Munjals”

She craved to say that

Every pore of her wanted to scream out loud

Both evenings she enjoyed the meal, ate too much and returned home and crashed

2nd evening she didn’t even have time to put the food in the fridge

He returned after midnight and woke her

“I am going to be totally OK if you ignore me” she whispered

“I wont be” he said kissing her deeply

She knew she was leaving tomorrow. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his forehead fondly

“thanks?!”

“I like the fact that I can turn off that other room’s fan and turn this one on with one remote” she whispered

His hand began its journey under her tee

Oh myyyyyyyy godddddddd taara is pregnant i did not expect thisssss...... sorry i couldn't read it yesterday i just read all the pages and to say i was shocked was understatement 🤣🤣🤣 a new twist and direction in the story...

After one month disappearance i thought gourav would have changed a little yes he did more worse i realised after reading...kitna galeeZzz selling all the books and i clearly don't understand what is taara mother role in all this fiasco...
