As Mrunal was cleaning the kitchen after dinner, a big blow up over mustard seed garnish she had added to Dhru’s dal

She was almost ready to punish him, but he cried and she fed him like a baby and he was now helping her load her dishwasher

The phone rang, she didn’t recognize the number but recalled receiving Atty’s text

Dhru ran up and answered it

She yelled at him in Marathi not to be so hasty

She was afraid it was going to be a creep, who was going to know where they lived and abduct Dhru

She grabbed the phone from him

He jumped up and down… “Athya… Athya” and spoke to her like a pro for a good 20 minutes

Mrunalini went back to clean up and peeked frequently to see what he was even saying to her

When she got the phone she was shutting out the kitchen light and mother and son went to the lower bunk and curled up.

He started reading his anime

Mrunalini explained how she made many mistakes at first, trusted the wrong people and learned to do everything, took him to the office when he was 3 months old, left him in the car seat in her cube as she worked

Mrunalini gently coached her, told her to think good things about the outcome… asked her to surround herself with people that love her, told her honestly there was no one around her when she was pregnant with Dhru

Wouldn't be easy to ask such a thing to anyone. Mrunalini will be happy that Apu trusted her but will be sad if Apu cannot have her own child.

I don't think so. One of Mrunalini's problem is that no one expects anything of her. She to my understanding would be happy to know that Apurva trusted her so much.

The Baby Bond: This should give some confidence to Mrunalini. Brother and sister adore her, Parents will come around.
