" Mere bike pe bahut dhul jam gayi hai na? " Shiva said looking at his bike standing outside the angan.
" Jaisa tu,.jaise tere kapde, waisi teri bike " raavi scowled
" To saaf karde " shiva said
" Kya? ab mai tere kapde saaf karu? Zyada hawa mai mat ud " raavi said
" Waise baat to mai bike ki kar raha tha.par yeh bhi sahi hai.pehle bike saaf kar le, phir kapde " shiva said smiling
That's it.Raavi stomped her foot and went to the well to get water.
She took out a bucket of water from the well and was about to go outside when she clutched her stomach and let out a cry.
" Aahh.." raavi said
Shiva saw her wincing in pain and ran to her.
" Raavi.kya hua? Tu thk hai? Kahi chot lagi? " He asked worried and checking her out holding her shoulders.
" Tujhe usse kya? Tujhe to bas challenge se matlab hai. " She said crying dramatically and clutching her stomach.
"Bolegi bhi kya hua? " He said. His tone a bit louder this time.
" Pet mai dard ho raha hai " she said pouting.
" Yeh to hona hi tha.pure din thusti rehti hai." He said shaking his head
"Yeh woh wala dard nahi hai." She said
" Matlab? " Shiva asked confused
" Mere periods chal rahe hai.pet mai dard ho raha tha.upar se tune mujhpe itne zulm dhaye.meri maasi to mujhe iss halat Mai ek pani ka glass bhi uthane nahi deti " she said crying dramatically
"Raavi...mai..woh " he didn't know what to say.he started feeling guilty.he made her do so much work when she was in pain.
He cupped her face
" Bahut dard ho raha hai? " He softly asked
Raavi looked into his eyes.she forgot her plan for a moment.all she saw in those eyes were concern .concern for her well being.she smiled a bit.
"Gadhedi hai kya tu? Mujhe pehle bolna chahiye tha na.mujhe kya sapna ayega ki ..." He was angry at her now.
Raavi came out of her trance.
Focus raavi.pighalna nahi hai.isne tujhe kitna pareshaan kiya.tujhe bhi to karna hai.bas iski ankhon Mai mat dekhna.
"Kaise bolti? Akhir mai ek ladki hu.Mujhe sharam ati na " she said trying to put on her cutest bechari face
Shiva rolled his eyes.
" Sharam? Tujhe ? Woh bhi mere saamne?bachpan se leke aaj tak to kabhi nahi ayi." Shiva sighed and picked her up.
" Shiva, yeh tu kya kar raha hai? " She asked surprised.
" Chup." He glared at her.
He took her to the bed and made her lie down.
" Tujhe kuch chahiye? Koi dawai khati hai kya dard ke liye? Doctor ko bulau? " He asked her worried.
" Nahi shiva. Yeh to bahut common baat hai.doctor ki koi zaroorat nahi hai " she assured him.
" Par hamesha tu aise kaam thodi na karti hai, upar se woh bori uthane ki bhi kosish kar rahi thi..." Shiva closed his eyes in guilt.
" Ek minute ruk " he said and went out.
He went to the kitchen to make some hot water.he had seen gombi taking a hot water bag for dhara bhabi sometimes.those were the days when she didn't pray.so he had an idea.
He brought her a hot water and put it gently on her stomach.
" Isse tujhe aram milega " he said
Raavi looked at him in surprise.she loved his soft side.it came out rarely.he was usually a bhootnath around her.she loved being pampered by him.how could she let this opportunity go?
" Kuch khayegi? " He asked
She nodded her head.
" Chocolates khane ka bahut mann kar raha hai" she said
" Accha ruk" shiva went to the store and bought her favourite chocolates as quickly as he could.
She gobbled them happily while shiva smiled seeing her.she was such a baby sometimes.
" Tu aram kar.thk hai? Kuch Chahiye to mujhe batana " he said making her lie down.
" Nahi shiva.tu phirse kal mujhse bike aur kapde dhulwayega.isse accha to mai aaj hi yeh kaam khatam kar lu." She said and was about to get up.
" Pagal hai kya tu? Tujhe iss waqt challenge ki padi hai? Bhaad Mai gaya woh challenge.chup chap aram kar " he scolded her and made her lie down.
Raavi gave him a big smile.so she was free from his gulami in just half a day.she mentally patted herself for her smart idea.she wanted to have a good nap, so she slept snuggling into the blanket.
Shiva caressed her head while she slept no matter how much he hated her, fought with her, messed with her ,he just couldn't see her in pain.his heart sank when she screamed.he didn't know why he feels so.he sighed hoping that she will feel better once she wakes up.
Raavi opened her eyes and stretched her hands.he looked at shiva sleeping in a sitting position with her head resting on the head rest of the bed.

She held out her hand and ran her fingers through his hair.shiva slowly opened his eyes.she quickly brought her hand back.
" Tu thk hai? Abhi bhi dard ho raha hai? " He asked
" Huhh...kya? " She asked confused.
" Tera pet dard kam hua ? " He asked again.
" Ohhh ..hann ....pet dard.thoda better hai par abhi bhi hai " she fumbled and smiled sheepishly clutching her stomach.
Shiva eyed her suspiciously.how could he forget what a nautanki this maamikibehenkibeti was.if she was a nautanki,then he was a bigger nautanki.he had to find out whether she was faking it or was she actually in pain.
He held her hands and came closer to her.
" Raavi.maine tere saath sahi nahi kiya.mera irada tujhe dard dene ka nahi tha, mai to bas thodi masti kar raha tha.par shayad kuch zyada ho gaya.maine line cross kar li.aaj se mai tujhse dur rahunga.jaane anjaane mai humesha tujhe hurt karta hu " shiva said putting on his best becharaa face.
Raavi melted seeing him like this.she just wanted to escape from doing chores and pull Shiva's leg.she didn't want to make him feel this guilty.and what was he talking about? He will stay away from her? No way.her heart shuddered at the thought of being away from him.
She hugged him.
" Main thk hu shiva.tu mujhe kabhi hurt nahi kar sakta.woh to mai kaam se bachne ke liye bahana ...." She bit her tongue and closed her eyes as she realised what she blurted out.
Shiva broke the hug and looked at her with a caught you look.
Raavis expression was that of a deer caught in headlights.
She got up and ran.
" Maamikibehenkibeti" shiva shouted and ran after her.
" Din ba din teri nautanki badhti jaa rahi hai.kitni badi jhuti hai tu " he said running after her.
" To mai aur kya karti? Tu mujh jaisi phool si bacchi se itna kaam karwa raha tha " she said
"Seedhe seedhe haar maan leti na. Phool si bacchi aur tu? Tu to mere gale ka kaanta hai." He said as he caught her and pulled her closer
" Ladki hone ka bahut galat faida utha rahi hai tu." He said
" Waise ek baat to hai.tu meri chinta karte huye kitna cute lag raha tha " she said pulling his cheeks.
" Ae koi cute nahi hu mai " he said shoving her hands away
" Aise hi raha kar na.kya pata mera favourite devar Krish ke jagah tu ban jaye " she said
Shiva left her and pushed her away.there begins her dev puran.
" Nikal yahaan se " he said in a serious voice
" Shiva .." raavi tried to say something
" Bola na nikal " he said a bit louder this time
Raavi looked at him one last time and went away.
