Sorry sweet people, yesterday was a crazy busy day, I had to make 50 mysore bondas for a Diwali card party at a friend's

And do all the routine Sat morning running around

Returned at midnight, and was too tired to write

I am doing office work right now😡🤬 since morning actually

Will wrap up and write maybe two chapters as a treat. Its UGLY cold and rainy over here around 33F and totally grey.

I cannot wait for Spring😕🤬. I know I know.... 5 more months and all

I hate the first few days of cold weather, so depressing

The next morning almost all were crabby because of goingt o bed at 3 AM

Bua could not have found a worse time to host the engagement… a hump day Wednesday

It was almost 8 and nobody was even out of the house

Anubha did not step out of the kitchen, she had a splitting headache

She was making herself idlis from leftover batter. MIL did not like south Indian breakfasts so Viveka rolled out paranthas while Naina tossed them in the skillet

“I am THIS close” Anubha whispered

“Go Mommy Go Mommy” Naina giggled

Naina looked at her wistfully

“Somebody was content and happy” she thought

Inder had met her at the hotel and they had spent some time together and he had taken off without anyone finding out

Viveka felt a quick lick of anger

She had made a bunch of plans with Abhishek and besides the couple of stolen kisses he had planted behind her year and rubbing on her body there was NOTHING

His parents still liked him though

They had already told her this morning, he was so polite and perfect

“Thanks for following through and not meddling with that Parashar boy” Anubha scooped idlis from the plate

“He surely makes heads turn” Anubha smiled

“On the contrary, no he blended with the crowd but its so hard to miss him, its funny how God gives the good looking ones gobs of wealth or vice versa”

Viveka just took the paranthas to the living room

“Sun betaaa.. Papa ko kahi main, shaadi mein mat naachna. TEES ki to honey waali ho aap… Harshu se mahiney se badi ho?”

“Gee Dadi thanks” she laughed without letting the arrow stick

Anubha passed by without looking, to Viveka’s room to grab her charging phone
