He opened a folder- it read "Student exhibits persistent exhaustion and paranoia and laziness. His eyes are often rimed with red. He is sullen, withdrawn and lashes out when provoked."

I blinked "this describes half of my graduating class"

"Well we decided he's a suspect and he is" Ted said. "Its these three guys that u want to have a close watch on don't waste ur time on any one else"

"Gotcha"

Right then Quincy came in with a Brown Folder with an ID clipped to the Top. I smiled and saw that it was a Hereford Academy ID complete with my senior- year Photo and a whole New Alias- Kripa Saxena.

"Cool!" I yanked the ID card free, with it came a new Connecticut Driver's license and an ATM card both with my new alias…"wow u guys are good"

"Thanks for the compliment" Quincy said. "Now, in that file is your new history. You've gotta learn it backwards, forwards, left and right"

"No Problem" I said

"This is no joke Kripa" my mom had just walked in

"I know Mom"

"All right this is for u" mom said

I looked at it

This certifies that Kripa Sharma is hereby instated as a deputy Officer of the law in the Town of Morrison, County of Morris, Connecticut.

As I followed Mrs. Bean through the halls of Hereford I couldn't help but notice that it was exactly like I always thought and more.

"You will be sharing your room with Aaliya Roy, one of our finest pupils" Mrs. Bean told me.

"She has had the room all to her elf for the whole year but she'll be pleased with this new arrangement"

Yea right I thought…I knew I would be totally psyched if I had to share a room with this new chick!

We stopped in front of room 217…we knocked and quiet voice said "come in"

"Aaliya I'd like u to meet ur new roommate- Kripa Saxena" Mrs. Bean said.

Aaliya stood up in front of her computer as if she was trying to hid something from us ( probably a heated romantic affair with her ski instructor in Switzerland of something) she swung her long brown hair and to my surprise she smiled! She looked liked she would fit right in with my friends.

"Hi" she said bringing her hand forward.

"Hi!" I said back

I hurried into the room and threw my stuff on the bed in the far right hand corner along with an emty deck and dresser

"We can rearrange that…it's just like that cuz I've been alone" she said

"Thanks"

"Well I'll leave you girls to get acquainted" Mrs. Bean said and she exited the room.

"she's a very convivial person isn't she?" I said.

"Convivial" Aaliya said sounding impressed.

"Yea back at home ppl call me the Walking Dictionary."

"Whoa I do the same but ppl here call me a show-off but u know u can't help it!

"Ok so tell me all about yourself!" she implored!

"All about myself?"

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to sound presuming well I'm just excited to have roommate!"

"Really?"

"Well yea…I'm not really Ms. Popularity here" she walked up towards her dresser there was a frame on it of her with a guy…but it was hard to tell who he was.

"Its really just me and Josh"

"Josh, Your Boyfriend?"

"Oh no! We're buddies…he's my Best Friend…in fact he's going to be here any second now we're going out for diner"

"Ok so what's his last name?"

"Mehta, Josh Mehta!" She said, "He's the best. You're gonna Love him!

I couldn't believe it my roommate was BFF with one of my suspects!

There was a knock on the door.

"Hey!" Aaliya said opening the door for a guy that was, without a doubt, Suspect Number one…Josh Mehta. He was shorter than I expected but there he was -- my little Hacker!

"Hey. Ready for some grub?" Josh asked, rubbing his hand together. Then he noticed me, and his eyes did that kind of flickering thing they do when you see some one attractive, whatever Josh saw in me he liked it.

"And you are?" he said sliding over to me…he was surely very confident.

"Josh this is kripa, my new roommate." Aaliya said with a giddy smile. "Kripa this is Josh"

"Hey nice to meet you" I said.

"The pleasure is mine!" Josh said with that warm smile. "Shall we?" she said glancing over at Aaliya.

"We shall" she joked back with a formal nod.

They walked ahead of me as I closed the door…And I couldn't help but say…This case was going to be a cake!
