Chapter 33 (Written by Shabs and Kainat)

“Sid…Sidharth” she barely whispered.

Sidharth stood up and blinked his eyes repeatedly.

“Roshni…” he breathed out

For a moment there was silence. She waited for him to say something… but nothing. There was a moment of awkwardness.

Their eyes were filled with so many emotions, love, hurt, confusion. They had so many questions, so many answers, so much to confess, but nothing came out.

Roshni was looking for her best friend in him, that she lost a very long time ago, with whom she could share anything, the one who understands her better than herself.Their college memories were flashing in her head as if someone is showing her a video on the projector. Everything was so clear yet so complicated.

“Sidharth…”she finally spoke.

A drop of tear fell rolling down his cheeks automatically. He felt so good listening his name from her lips. He felt as if he is listening his name for the very first time. He wanted answers to his questions. He just wanted to be with her.

“Sidharth…”she said again. Her voice was teary.

She took some steps forward and reduced the distance between them.

Sidharth didn’t say a word, he just was mesmerizing the beauty in front of him

“Sidharth why aren’t you replying?” said Roshni.

“Huh” her words made sidharth come out of the trance he was in.

She slowly touched his cheeks with her right palm, her soft touch gave him jitters. Her touch was hesitant, she wasn’t sure that what she is doing is right or not.Then before she could remove her hands, sidharth kept his hands on hers, to tell her that she has the right to touch him, to hold him. That he belongs to her only. He touched his forehead with hers, his touch gave her ease and comfort. Her rapid heartbeats came back to normal. She had a faint smile of satisfaction on her face.

“Sidharth…”she said softly

“Roshni”

“SidharthI…. I need to tell you something”

Sidharth’s heartbeats went out of control, was this the moment he was waiting for so long.Was she actually going to confess her love? He was so excited yet so nervous yet so confused. He tried reading her eyes but couldn’t get it.

“Sidharth…Main…”

“Kaho na Roshni, I’m listeing” he said huskily.

They were still holding on to each other, not wanting to let go. But then Roshni released herself from his touch and the position they were in.

Sidharth became confused. He couldn’t get what Roshni wanted to say.

“Sidharth…before I tell you anything, I want something from you first”

“Bolo Roshni, I will give you anything you want, even if comes to sacrificing my life, I would not take a minute to think over it”

Roshni smiled as a tear fell from her eyes, seeing such love and care.

“I want you to listen to me as my best friend, the one who knows me, the one who understands me more than myself, the one with whom I know no one can ever harm me.Can you please me my best friend for a moment”

Sidharth didn’t know why she was asking him that. did she want to friend zone him or what. But since his roshni asked for it, he couldn’t deny it and nodded his head in agreement.

Roshni smiled.

“Sidharth I…I’m confused”

“confused about what?”

“About everything, about us, about whatever is going on… on one hand its you, and on the other hand its my mom. I have to choose one by leaving the other forever.Why am I in this situation? Why I have to lose anyone of you, why do I have to hurt mom and Samarendra if I choose you. Why do I have to hurt you if I choose mom. Why is it so complicated. Why me always Sidharth? Why me? Why do I have to lose people who love me, who are close to me? Why me?” she cried.

“Roshni tumkya chahti ho?”

“I don’t know… main bus dil todna nahi chahti”

“tumhara dil kya kehta hai”

“Jo mera hai woh mujhse dur na jaaye”

Sidharth made Roshni sit on the bench, and bent down on his knees. Roshni was crying so badly.He kissed her forehead gently, and wiped her tears with his thumbs.

“Roshni… I don’t know about your mom, but even if fate chooses to apart us, even then I will be only yours. Even then his heart will beat for you, even then I would say only your name, even then I will love you more than my life. Even if you choose your mom over me, I will wait for you with open arms, all my life even after that. and kya kaha tum ne? that you don’t want to hurt someone, YOU CAN NEVER DO THAT! because you have such a beautiful soul. I know my Roshni, I know you can never think of something like that, and that’s what makes me love you even more. Roshni my purpose of coming here, wasn’t these tears, but your smile. I didn’t want to make you feel like this. If you want me to go then I will go” He waited for her answer but she was so lost in his words that she didn’t answer.

“Your silence… I got my answer Roshni… Trust me you will never find me in your way again, but remember, that Sidharth sirf Roshni ka hai”

He smiled,and got up, tears were uncontrollably falling from his eyes, he felt like he is leaving his life, his motivation to live, the purpose of his existence behind, but he could do anything for Roshni’s happiness.

“Sidharth” Roshni shouted.

Turned around a very confused Sidharth, he saw Roshni running to him, a wide smile appeared on his face instantly, he opened his arms for her.

Roshni just stopped herself from hugging him.

“Roshni”

“THAAADDDDD”she slapped him hard on his face.

“Roshni”

“Samajhte kya ho tum apne aap ko? Jab man kiya aa jaoge, jab man kiya chale jaaoge? When I was saying go go, you were so adamant and when I want you to stay, you are saying that you will leave me? Mazaak hai kya?”

“Roshni… I was just”

“Chup!!! Kuch mat bolo!! Bohat bol liya tum ne” she sounded very angry.

Sidharth lowered his eyes.

“Ab meri baari hai” she said lovingly, cupping his face in her palms.

She first kissed his forehead, then his left eyes, then his right eye, kissing away all he tears; she planted soft kisses all over his face.

“Sidharth…. I love you” she finally said.

He came out of the trance he was in.

“Kya kaha tum ne” he couldn’t believe what he just heard.

“I love you sidharth and I cannot live without you” she said meaning each and every word.

Sidharth took her into a tight and warm hug. The warmth of his body gave her peace and protection. She felt like home, she felt secured in his arms.

“I love you too… thank God you said it… thank God… I love you too Roshni, more than my life”

“I was so scared I thought you’re leaving me, I thought I was too late” she cried, still holding on to him.

“I thought the same… but thank God you said it… I love you so very much and I promise I will never ever leave your side”

“I love you Sidharth”

He broke the hug and gently kissed her forehead.

A traitor tear slipped from her eyes, as she looked into his eyes

"why these tears baby? Why now?" said Sidharth lovingly, as he cupped her face, wiping the tear away with his thumb

"I'm sorry Sidharth....."she hiccuped making Sidharth frown

"Sorry for what Jaan"

The endearment caused Roshni to blush.

“For being so mean to you. Rejecting you over and over. I'm so sorry" she sniffed

"Its okay Jaan. No need to apologize....besides you look really sexy when your mad. It's a real turn on" he whispered huskily before winking, causing Roshni eyes to widen and blush to become even more redder than it already was

"Sidharth!" she slapped him lovingly on his shoulder making him chuckle

"I love you Roshni. Aur you know the saying pyar mein no sorry. No thank you....or is that for dosti..." Sidharth pretended to think, making Roshni smile.

"I love you Sidharth...."

Sidharth just stared at her....

"Sidharth .....Sidharth

"Aah....

"What happened ?"

"Still feels like a dream.You're really here nah. In front of me in my arms....because if it's a dream I never want to wake up.....OOCH" Sidharth looked at Roshni bewildered

"Why did you pinch me

"To show you're not dreaming stupid. It's as real as it gets"

"Itne zor se pinch kiya...my junglee billi" he poured

"Who are you calling a junglee billi" asked Roshni taking a step back and crossing her hands over her chest pretending to be annoyed

Sidharth smirked before pulling her by her waist and flushing his body tight against hers closing the distance she had created

"You. You are my Junglee Billi...and am dying for you to scratch my back when I make hot passionate love to you" he whispered seductively

"Sid....Sidharth " she could barely voice out...causing Sidharth to laugh out loud

"You're so cute. Love making you speechless" after a pause "jokes apart Roshni, I was so afraid you wouldn't cave in to my love, and that I would lose you forever...I can't tell you how happy you've made me feel. Confessing that you love me too. It's like I've been given a new lease of life. I feel like I can conquer the world

"I m sorry. I know I'm a little slow....but I realized that I wouldn't be able to take it, if you left me. The thought of you not being in my life...It scared me. That was when I finally came to a realization that you're the only man for me. No matter what happened in the past, the misunderstanding, or what is happening in the present. I realized that the most important thing is being with you. My mind and heart fought a constant battle, but I listened to what my heart wants and that was for me to be with you because you're the only man I love and will love until my last breath" he met her gaze and saw how his eyes brightened up with total happiness.

"Thank you for choosing me, Roshni" he suddenly looked emotional while saying those words. Roshni shook her head and then cupped his face and stared at him full of love.

"You don't have to thank me, I chose you not because I had no choice, but because I wanted to. You're very special to me Sidharth. You're the only one who owns my heart and I don't think I'll survive life without you with me, loving me"

Sidharth suddenly hugged her tight."Love you....love you...love you" he kept whispering over and over before he pulled away, and looked at her, as if wanting to say something

"What happened Sidharth ....kya soch rahe ho"

Sidharth suddenly felt his heart pounding because of sudden nervousness. He knew it was silly for him to feel that way but he couldn't help it. What if she wasn't ready yet?He mentally shook my head and then brushed that thought away.

"Roshni"

She was looked on confused.

Slowly Sidharth knelt on his knee, causing Roshni to gasp out loud... their gaze never broke.

"Hmmm" He motioned her to sit on the edge of the bench..

He took her hand, squeezing it gently, and then opened a small velvet box that was in his other hand. It revealed a beautiful ring!

Roshni heart suddenly started beating faster. It felt like the world had stopped revolving that moment.

"I know that this is so sudden but I will not waste any more time to ask you the question that I have been dreaming of asking you since the first time I realised how much you mean to me.I am not rushing things but I just want you to know that I am serious of what we have and I don't have any plans of letting you slip through my fingers again. I know the time ahead will be difficult. There are a lot of problems and maybe hardships for us to become one. But with you by my side as my strength I will fight any storm that'll come our way. I promise I will not allow anyone’s feelings to get hurt especially Saasu Mom or even that Samer whatever....But When....and I mean WHEN I sort out all these problems, will you give me the honor of marrying you, Ms. Roshni Patel?" He uttered the last sentence with all the emotions that he was feeling while holding his breath the entire time, feeling scared that she might say no.

Roshni stood frozen, hearing what he said. He uttered that last sentence full of emotions and she was overwhelmed by the intense happiness that rose in her heart. She couldn't believe every thing that was happening in the span of ten minutes... First confession and now Sidharth Khurana had asked her to marry him.

Yes, she loved him dearly, but she didn't think that he would ask her to marry him, so soon....

She was still lost in her thoughts when Sidharth squeezed her hand slightly

"Baby.....please, answer me" he was almost begging and his expression was so cute. He looked like he was scared, cross that - petrified that she might turn him down.

Instead of answering, she leaned over and then kissed him on the forehead, lingering her lips there for a while,letting him feel all the words that she wanted to say through that kiss,and then slowly pulled away, staring into his deep brown orbs

"Not that I'm complaining about that kiss Baby, but I also need an answer. Is it a yes?" He was pleading for words as Roshni chuckled full of amusement.

"What do you think?" She teased him.

"Roshni....plzzz" He groaned, but patiently waited for her answer.

Roshni gently flicked the tip of his nose with her fingers

"Umm...." she pretended to think, making him furrow his eyebrows, and then said the words that he was waiting for me to say.

"Ummmm.... it's a yes Sidharth"

For a moment Sidharth stared up at her, letting the words sink in...before realization hit him and a huge smile appeared on his handsome face

"Pakka nah" he asked just to reassure himself he had heard right

"100%” she smiled back,blushing slightly

"Yes! Yes! Thank God, she said yes!" he was yelling like a fool. He even punched the air like crazy, and Roshni couldn't hold my laugh ..but quickly stopped and pressed her hand down on his mouth

"Ssshhhh....Mom she will hear us. And if she does Shaadi se phele hi mein widwah ho jaongi....because she will murder you"

"Not fair. Can’t even express my excitement'

Roshni couldn't believe that he could act this way. He looked like a child that was given a gift and then have it taken back"

He finally put the ring on her finger and she was surprised that it fitted well, before she had a chance to ask him, he stood up and smashed his lips with hers

"Sidh...---" she didn't even have the chance to say anything because he took that opportunity to deepen the kiss. It was a wrong move for her to open her mouth to speak because he used that chance to claim my lips fully.

His lips fitted perfectly against hers and the kiss that he was giving was hard, passionate and full of hunger.

Roshni couldn't hold back the moan that escape her lips when he bit the lower lip, as if persuading her to open her mouth more for him to have a better access. She didn't know why but I felt like she'd been hypnotized that just obeyed to what he wanted just like that. Without warning he thrusted his tongue to her mouth to discover the sweet recesses of her mouth.

The kiss sent electric current through their bodies, caused Sidharth to moan and his every touch was making Roshni to shudder, her body trembled uncontrollably and felt the strong fire surged within. It was so hot and inviting that it became hard not to succumb to that kiss.

Roshni legs were already trembling.,and felt his arms wrapped around her waist and pulling her body against his until their bodies were pressed together deliciously.

The temperature around, felt like it increased a couple of degrees.

He deepened the kiss even more like he couldn't get enough of her lips and she didn't know if it was just her imagination or what but it felt as if he was kissing her full of longing. He was kissing fervently as if he had been waiting for that moment to come for along time.

When his tongue teased Roshni tongue for a battle, she lost herself completely. Her arm went around his neck because she felt like her knees already turned into jelly; she couldn't trust her own knees anymore. Roshni other hand went to his hair and pulled at it, and this movement caused Sidharth to moaned deliriously, just as his hand went under her shirt she suddenly pulled away

"Sidharth behave...." she blushed, fixing her shirt

"Can't. Sorry. You're just so Sexy Baby....control nahin hota, causing her cheeks to tint even further

"You did a good job of choosing a ring. You even got my size right" I voiced out trying to change the subject.

"Actually Nani told me your size, and had bought it the day we were at the mall....after our kiss" he winked "and it's been with me ever since"

"I love you," Roshni declared again full of love as their eyes met. He wrapped an arm around her waist then pulled me even closer, if that was even possible, to his muscled body,.

"I love you too, Roshni. So So much" he answered before he captured her lips with a passionate kiss once again. She clung her arms around his neck as kissed him back with equal fervor..

Their eyes met again. He touched her cheek with the back of his hand. The world suddenly went quiet as if we're the only people existed in the world.

"I love you too, Roshni. So So much" he answered, with so many emotions that her heart swelled with joy.

Roshni swallowed hard when she saw his face slowly drawing closer to hers. She felt like she was under his spell.

She didn't know what happened, but suddenly found herself tilting her head a little bit and then tip toed to mee this lips, before he captured her lips with a passionate kiss once agsin. She clung her arms around his neck as kissed him back with equal fervor. .

Lips crushed and their bodies pressed tighter.

The kiss didn't disappoint. It felt so magical. His warm lips gently coaxing her to kiss him back and she did.

"You're really so beautiful," he breathed when their lips parted for a second. Then kissed again as if his live depended on it.

Even though Roshni really didn't know how to kiss properly, her lips automatically moved on their own, mimicking his.

Roshni wrapped her arms around his neck and she felt him did the same to her waist. She felt the drops of rain drenching them, but they couldn't care less anymore.

Roshni parted only for a second to look up at the pouring rain before Sidharth attached his mouth back to hers.

He bit her lower lip as his tongue traced the shape of her lips before he teased the tip of her tongue as if coaxing her to give him more access; as if asking for permission to invade her mouth. Roshni didn't disappoint and let him in. His tongue explored the recesses of her mouth before he teased mine once again. This time, it was more intense and addicting. Their tongues clashed deliciously and it felt so good.So right.

"Damn...i can't get enough of those sweet lips" he said huskily after that kiss. Both breathing raggedly, as she bit her lower lip blushing

"Don't bite your lip"

"Why?"

"Because I won't be able to stop myself and take you here in the rain, on his muddy ground"

Roshni gasped, to which Sidharth just smirked and kissed her forehead.

You're so cute....." and looked up to the Skies

"Can’t believe it. When I asked for some rain, to help me with my case you ignored me. When it got to the good part, you decide to listen" he acted hurt

Roshni looked at him as if he had grown two heads.

"Who and what are you talking about"

"I'm talking to God. I had asked for a little help to woo you....you know some rain, so that when you see me you'll feel sorry for me and come running into my arms. You know like in the movies...but nothing. ..Zilch.

Lekin when everything was sorted, he decided to send the rain and ruin our moment" he poured looking back at the skies

"You’re crazy.You know that "
