The way these two are going about this ...kind of overthinking each other's feelings, looks like a similar maternal shield intervention is required to expose him to samidha, probably when she gets to accompany Sam for the ultrasound check up.

Left to these both... they would still be going in circles around each other... The irony here is they did not think too much about the consequences of a hook up but are overthinking about proposing each other.

Either this or they are unsure of their feelings for each other like she told Merv ... marrying Avi just for the child?? In that case it's time to self introspect and ask themselves what do they want out of this.

Harassed & Hassled

It was a bad evening, he was reeling from his Dad finding out, she was plain frustrated about the dog and of course over how to tell her parents, and the impending ultrasound appointment.

"I don't know where to hide my things she arranged and rearranged her things far back in the giant closet he had given her. "thank God I don't have too many things

"U still have a place to get out of don't u? he asked

She turned to him startled

"Umm.. yes... I do, but "

"I have to do it OK "Maybe next week?

"Sure.. OK he threw his hands up in the air and walked away

"U think I am stalling? she followed

"No I don't... its none of my business really he said coldly

It hurt her

She moved her things to the top shelf

The dog followed her like a slave, stopping when she did walking when she walked

Just changed, went into the kitchen grabbed a beer and returned to the living room

The dog went to his spot and started to sleep like a good boy

She was surprised to find the dog, not hearing the door unlocked

She wiped her face with the towel and wandered to the living room

"If u can get out of Mrs Mitra's tomorrow we can find a place wherever u like in a week he said bluntly

"Of course I want the baby she shrieked

"I meant the new place he taunted

He was furious...

Frustration, anxiety, anger and unhappiness , stress and bottled feelings.

These guys need a break from each other I guess. Time out and Away from each other... to figure out stuff handle their own personal stuff, work, talk to their parents, may be realize the value of each other's prescence when away.

Her body, her mind and her life has gone for a complete toss. Feeling extremely stretched for now. Give her a break .

But they hv to ask themselves why do parents approval matter so much to them now! You just can't hv the cake and eat it too!!!

Bullets & arrows

The next morning between bouts of throwing up, she bit the bullet.

She called her mother at 6 AM walking up and down the wide marble foyer of his building

It was raining and it was windy, the warm spray soaked her skin as she paced

"So early? her mother as shocked

Her mother lived in constant paranoia since Bik's demise, she was always a worrier, now she was just crazy

She analyzed every little thing and took it to mean something... or the other

It drove Samidha crazy... Enough so she avoided talking to her when she had a bad day at work

Her mother ranted for a good 7 or so minutes, breathlessly, about how she was paranoid about Shivu doing this to someone and getting in trouble... never ever thought "Good girl like her would do this

Someone living upstairs walked out from the central passageway, cursed at the rain opened his umbrella and walked to his insanely expensive car outside the gate

He paused to give her a odd look

"Do u LIVE HERE? he asked

She nodded

"Where?'

She tapped Avyaan's living room wall

"Oh that guy? he asked doubtfully

Her mother wouldn't stop

"I was supposed to go to Udupi for a prarthna and wish for success for you at work, I went to Kote Venkatramana Temple and prayed and demanded he answer my prayers she gasped between words

"Ma... this has nothing to do with your prayers

"CLEARLY! she was upset

"Don't be mad at me

"How can you keep this baby? U are not married

"Its MINE

"samidha... how can u say its yours after doing wrong things with a man?

"U are not uneducated Ma... u are a freaking bank manager... u studied in convent... how can u talk like that?

She swallowed multiple times

She wanted to say she loved Avyaan... like she had never loved anyone

In fury, in frustration she wanted to say something like that

"This baby... I don't know

"I don't know either... I wont come see you if u think I am a bad girl she sobbed

"Its NOT Bik's baby... he wanted a baby so badly her mother teared up "How can u?

"even though its not my Bik's I still want this man's baby she said vehemently

Avyaan had stepped out with Toast to go for his morning business

He overheard that line... About him being an afterthought... piercing through his inside...

Uhoh tension is building up. They are not talking to each other afraid they will be hurt with what the other feels or says. Bit they are hurting themselves more with assuming things and not confronting what the feel and what they want from each other and themselves. It will be interesting to see how they come out of this situation.

When will their assumption that they dnt love each other,love their past and only this baby matters in their life' end??????

Very nicely captured as if this is playing entirely in front of you. It's like a screen split in to two... one half that's got her mom shocked that her Samu would do this and trying to sink in what she heard and on the other side, the pregnant daughter in her jammies tearing up sliding down the wall agonized that she has to do this.

Sam just has to suck it up. Eventually her baby and life are hers. No one can take them away from her if she has decided... not her parents, not even Avyaan. Give the parents some time to sink it in and come around... sigh!!..,
