All is well Ashu, ramping up for Deepavali at home... on the work front I am always acting like the sky is falling so not sure what I am doing

He said he wud take an Uber to Target for teeshirt

I told him "Are u mad? Will u spend $50 on Uber to buy a $15 tee you will only wear for 6 months?"

Jas and Nouf have been more vocal than the rest of us but I'm sure it must have been equally tough for the rest of the other regulars as well taking a peek and sighing now and then. I'm happy you chose to be back and that we have something nice to get back to.

Torquoise is a pretty Colour. My personal favorite. Your kid is going to lap up all the goodies you sent with glee 😆. He would be so Kaanjufied. During a couple of college visits, I looked at the food offerings and wondered how do these kids manage this kind of food day in day out. But then some of the labs and clubs , libraries, entertainment centers were state of art in a couple. So evens out I guess.

When you get to write the Sosy chapter, cover them all ... the, kids, all the couples , both sets of grandparents, minion, selvi... should be one solid Diwali Dhamaka.

Next two days, We'll be at the hospital for his ( hopefully final) corrective surgery . Getting to read your story would be good to ward off time amidst the boring machines and hospital bed. Good that our deepavali falls today .

Thanks Nouf for the wishes. Need all the wishes. It's really unfortunate that what seemed an uneventful fall turned out to be this eventful and botched poor. Anyway I want to be more positive about the outcome of this surgery. Fingers crossed for tmrw.

yes Nisha, considering there are so many Indians here, there are hazaar sales going on. bc's legislature is hosting Diwali for the every first time so its very special. my parents are visiting, so this Diwali is certainly very special. but having said that I have fallen sick which has put a damper on the works. but all good and very exciting.
