The boys were barely awake when he left home at Noon, he hated going away from MM. The kids the noise and chaos were somethings he loved dearly now. He could never find the right pair of shoes or belt or the book he was reading last.
Nivi passed him in the hallway and looked away
"Hey love he called out gruffly
"Umm she paused and pulled her earbud out
"Gimme a hug he invited
She leaned on the wall and sulked
"Amma told me you were fine... you don't look fine to me
"Amma always exaggerates... you should know... you've lived with her 30 years?
"Boy... that's gonna make you 29 you know he laughed gently dissing her
She hated that payback
"Atleast I wont be living HERE she rolled her eyes, the corridor lined with priceless art and pictures
"OK... that's enough he warned gruffly
"Why should Amma get to make all my decisions
"Amma Wanted you to go... I said NO he said expressionlessly

"Yes it was me I am sorry... its too soon after a ear infection... you are still on antibiotics, it even went to your sinuses going to Mauritius would mean swimming all day he said slowly

He walked over bend down and kissed her soft silky head
She stiffened and pulled away
He turned and walked downstairs
She chased after him "But you let me swim at Sam Athai's house yesterday!!!!
He didn't have an answer, she was a condensed, concentrated version of himself and II
She argued well. He had told II point blank his teen daughter was not going to be anywhere around Greg wearing a swimsuit, on a beach, 2000 miles away from him and II.

Nivi got another centerstage
R&B walked over to his busy wife hoping for some physical comfort

"No I cant she mumbled

"GROSS... NO... aren't u two too old to give each other good bye kisses? Nivi was angry
"No actually... R&B bent down and grabbed II's lips for a long hungry kiss
