it's the lunch time and kushi has sighed for the tenth time, she was so happy while going to the class with arnav and her holding hands, she loved the feeling of arnav's touch but all come to crash as by the end of the afternoon class they got two assignments. got it two, oh that's why she loves colleges note the sarcasm.
on top of that, they will be having some internals in a week that means more assignments and she had to turn them in before internals, which is ridiculous because how can she finish writing and reading the syllabus at the same time.
" come on kushi it can't be that bad its just a two assignments " Jay said as he passed the drinks to her.
" it's easy for you to say, you are all super interested in studies and I hate it " kushi said as she pulled the chair closer to the table as she took a byte from the plate.
" don't worry Kushi, it will be gone before you know it, if you want i can write one for you " arnav said
" no it's okay I will write today no worries and even you have to write your " kushi announced
as the lunch period got to an end Kushi got call from form Lavanya

/ nothing happened, just wanted to talk to the guy who you crush / kushi felt herself blush at that but don't answer back. kushi watched around to see arnav is grinning at her,giving she cursed herself checking if it's in loudspeaker but is normal only.
/ oye don't ignore me, talk to me wait is he there now? he is right. wait let me vediocall you I want to see him too as your bestest friend it's my right / Lavanya announced before Kushi can object the call was ended.
kushi squirmed on her seat, she dont know what her friend going to say and all but she legimently scared at the result, the bad thing can happen when arnav hear her friend making confession for that's arnav reject on her face that would make her too sad and worst thing could happen is, him returning her feeling because she totally going to be bad at these things she knows because the first time she went on date and let's just say it don't go well.
kushi felt her phone vibrating not want to anger LA she slide the call button to green to see Lavanya with her dimple smile.
"okay kushi now show me the guy, arnav " Lavanya looked for the corner finding nothing but kushi herself and some of the chair behind her
" can stop being a overactive puppy for a minute I will introduce all of my friends now " Kushi rolled her eyes at Lavanyas exited nodding
she turned camera toward the table " guys this is Lavanya, which got a series of hi and hellos around the table
" oh God! kushi why don't you say you have like this big gang " lavanya exclaimed as she took a look at every one but she stuck on one person who staring at her, she hoped it's not arnav.
Lavanya let out a sigh after kushi intrudeced all of them finding that attractive guy name is Aman and kushi's arnav is super hot no denying at that, from what she saw she can say he was just gone for kushi. he don't even gave her a second glance when Kushi introduced them and the way he looks at kushi it's like full on heart eyes at her.
kushi grinned herself as she saw aman and LA exchangeing looks between them, now she can tease about aman and her when she talk about arnav.
Kushi ended the call with eyebrow raised and mouthing aman to LA who said shut up to kushi, she laughed as they stoop up to go back to class.
" guys you can I have to go to locker and I will be back " kushi said
" I will come with you " arnav said Kushi smiled at him and others nodded leaving them alone
arnav walked along side her, it's the chance he can ask on date to her he knows it's early like too but after listening to Lavanya he cant wait and it's will good if she adjust to him so that he can tell her about them.
" kushi do want to go for drinks tonight? " he started smoothly
" what? " Kushi stopped walking as soon as she heard question
" you know, you are new here and you didn't get may opportunity to get out much so I thought you would like to see around here " arnav explained In low voice
" oh okay, I would like that " Kushi said as she continued walking trying to hide the red tingle of cheeks which arnav did see.
arnav mentally fist bumped the air as he followed her, he was happy really that she agreed, he don't say it's a date but it can be one.
when kushi entered the class she was getting the knowing looks from the group, she dont know how they know about going date no for drinks with arnav, but she was sure they were grinning for that only.

by the time it's time for arnav to pick up kushi, she was nervous shit her mother was given tips that went over her head and her father don't liked that his daughter is going on date for that matter even when she said its not one he won't believe her. how could he when her mother is totally okay with it as a date.
" Kushi are you sure this guy is good and have a good intentions " her father grumpily asked making kushi groan because it's the nth time he was asking in different types
" ha dad and I said we are just friends going out for a drinks nothing to worry. you can see yourself when he comes here, if you don't like him then I won't go with him " Kushi hide her smile waiting for the drama to start
" Kushal, can for a moment sit down and take deep breaths to clam yourself. I know he would be good otherwise my daughter wouldn't agree to out with him " shika shushed Kushal
" and kushi stop picking on that dress, it's good and you look beautiful " Kushi mother kissed her when they all heard the horn from outside
" it must be arnav I will.. " Kushi about to got up but her father leaped on and half-way to the door " I will bring him in you both talk "
" mom! " kushi turned to her mother " it's okay let him go he is new to this and do you remember your secret unsuccessful date that time also he was like this "
arnav really liked his mother but times like this he hates to be with her she made change like ten outfits because it's not matching his eye colour and it's thread is out, he don't have a sneaker for it, really even he was satisfied with half of the stuff but not his mom.
he is thankful to moon goddess that he was able to make it on time. he looked outside to see a man standing outside kushi father likely he just hoped he was not objecting on kushi going out.
* he won't dare to, I can make sure of that * akin voice made present in his head
* yeah do that and lose our mate for scaring the living daylights out of her father. no thank you * arnav politely said not wanting to have the talk with him
* as you say but if you face any difficulties with kushi or her parents you can let me out I will handle smoothly * akin suggested
* no way I will be leaving you alone with kushi before she knows about us and you handling things smoothly, you have civilization of cave man * arnav snickered at his own last words getting playful growl from akin before goes silent in his head
" hello sir " arnav greeted Kushi father as soon as he saw him getting a single nod from him, looking at his face he don't like Kushi going out with him.
" sir kushi.. " arnav asked not knowing what to talk
" she is inside and remember one thing if I see a single hair out of the place on her I will end you " kushi father warned him to which arnav nodded.
he never harm his mate, he can see he loves his daughter too much to let her go on some date with some stranger, akin ofcourse butted in saying they are not strangers, really very mature of him, for them they are strangers.
" no sir, I don't even think about it and she is really important to me " arnav answered sincerely
" oh really does she know that "
" no sir, but I want her to like me herself. I don't want to force her into anything " that's seemed to satisfy
they both walked inside to see Kushi and her mother if arnav remember correctly shika were talking, as soon as they saw him they both stopped and smiled at him he can see kushi got her smile from her mother which beautiful.
" so arnav right, where are you taking my daughter " shika wiggled her eyebrows
" yes ma'am, and don't worry it's just nearer places we will be back by 11 clock " arnav said hoping he can atleast ask her for being his girlfriend.
" oh stop this mam and all call me shika " kushi mother said
" okay mam.. I mean shika " arnav nodded
" well it's seems right time to go " Kushi walked to arnav
" yeah right, can we go now " arnav asked Kushi getting nod from kushi and they both walked out as they did goodbye to kushi's parents.
