Anyways her ROI coming back from the awards banquet made up for my irritation. She did good. 😊

My daughter is better that way. I don't have last minute surprises. I run last minute sometimes if I had snoozed on things. My son on the other hand is a last minute king. He drives me nuts. Something due at 12 midnight. He will wait till 11.59 to turn it in. Last Thursday night was Jazz shoes. Payless had 10 size size, we run just before mall closes and guess what it was a 10 women. He needed a 10 men and wide. I got fed up and said I'm done. So u r not alone
😒

But cool with all the awards ! Congrats to her. Is she committed to college yet? Must be relieved now.

Between work/family stuff, I have been not so into commenting and replying to all your comments.

I was just thinking how Nisha is able to write us all the updates with Home/work. Kudos to you again !

Thank you Nisha 🤗

Yes it is indeed exciting. So far have done it twice. I am not that comfortable with water. So it was like ok let's get it done with and tick it off. But looking back at it feels more fun.

Not yet Jas. She will start applying this fall. She qualifies automatically for all instate ones as of now. We will have to see how it works out with the private ones in state and those out of state after turning applications . I'm thinking it Makes financial and strategic sense to go in State if she gets a free ride because if everything goes well she plans to study long. Who knows how the next year pans out ...Let's see how that goes. I hope she is smart about pacing it out with the finances.

Nisha, if not marathon what about half marathon? 😆

I was just mentioning to my friend the other day, when it comes to banquets, homecoming and stuff it's little stressful with how the girls go about it these days . Boys I guess are pretty cool about it . It was funny to read they don't mind even if it's a newspaper. How I wish!! Ha Ha

As long as there's a balance and a method to her madness , I do indulge her 😆 but yeah last minute gets to me no end .

Shruti, what I do is dry grind the cocunut with a green chilly and very little cilantro for that extra flavor to tadka.Adds an even tinge of green to it. It helps to keep the beans uncovered to cook it green. Otherwise it's the same with the tadka stuff you listed

Beans the South Indian way with the dals is also very healthy and tasty. This recipe doesn't call for Cocunut. Though the prep time is a little longer than the one with cocunut.
