. TASTING THE VENGEANCE



The warm sunrays waded its way to their room ...grazing its fingers around her face ..teasing the frown marks on her forehead ...

Slowly she opened her eyes ..not realizing where she was or why she was so cold ??

He was already up and never even bothered to check whether she was dead or alive ...
One which was brought to be killed never have to be caressed..isnt it

Now her life seemed a big joke ...

She got up and slowly rummaged thru her loads of bags ...
And found out necessary toiletries and walked to the washroom...

( imagine the washroom to be very big and the half area is the cupboards and a full mirror wash basin charger holder mini wardrobe ...AND THE OTHER HALF FOR THE BATHING AND TOILET WHICH HAD A PARTITIONING STEPS AND A GLASS WINDOW ...HEHE I KNOW I SUCK AS AN INTERIOR DESIGNER ...)


On seeing the washbasin and mirror she walked in. ...she was sleepy ...and Las nights drama had drained away all her energy ..leaving her clumsy ...


She starts brushing as if there was a whole day for it ...then she moved to the batg area ..never realizing that she didnt locked the door ...
She was about. To remove her sweat stained kurti when the door opens rashily ...gifting a high note scream from her larynx...

. oh hit away why ..why ..why. ..she walked out. ..as if. Nothing hapend

. She saw him sipping a hot steam coffee frowning into the screen
She was about to walk out


. where are you going Ms nautanki ...he asked

. she didn't answer waiting for more blows fom him
. bt she mustured up all her courage and asked him

. what do you want from me Arnav ..cant we try to sort out things
. yes kushi ... Can you wipe out those 8 years of my lonely life ?
. plz Arnav ..understand ..I know I did a very big mistake. ..bt I tried my level best to save you ...but your family left the town never leaving any track for a 18 year old girl yo find out

. he moved forward pushing her to the corner ...

She blinked away the tear. Realizing how he was the same boy whom she used to travel around ...hiding from the teachers circle ...meetings in the washroom ...

. She played around making him her puppet ...which she regreted now and then ...it was not she it was her friends forcing her to do the act wd him ...cheating him at the end ...

. Bt somewhere in the middle of that acting she did fell in love wd him ...brt that was not the play scripted ..so she acted acc to them never realizing her small prank cud cost someone's life ...

She was ignorant on, the highest peak of hormone kicking it was all rash adventures and risks that ruled her

She was pulled back from her memories when she realized she was all alone

She made up her mind to solve it .tell him straight on his face that she was not to be played around ...

Wd that she walked down finding him Han in hand wd a girl in her twenties ...

Was she ever right in taking her choices believing everything wud turn right at the end

. When the professor was explaing the genetic material. To the class
. he said that the whole world was controlled by four letters ie A G T C

but HE smiled to himself telling it was only K who rules his life ...

. MY DEFINITION OF CATHARSIS.



. SHE walked away from the sight of her ...she was embarrassed. To show her weak side to anyone other than him ...she wanted to get out from that place ...it suffocated her ..
Since the drawing room was occupied she walks to the back and found the backdoor

Without hesitation she opened it ... She felt the cold air pressing onto her ...making her whimper ...bt she liked it in someway ..it was morning still the sun rays didn't penetrate thru that the canopies of. Trees that stood there beaming at the sight of a stranger...

First time after reaching his place ...she smiled ...laughed ...

Ot was so beautiful out there ..he had quite created a personal. HeAven here ...it was her definition of catharsis...she walked out barefooted into the thick cold sand ...it tickled. Her feet making her even more joy ..for a moment she forgot all about her worries ...she felt bliss ...
She sat on the white park bench set amidst those trees facing a small pond wd pebbles in it ...myriad of colours reflected from the water ... And what was moving in it ...dont tell me its a tortoise she whispered to herself

She smiled and Said a hello to the questioning look on its face ..she was sure it looked at her wd an air of proudness as if telling her how beautiful his house is and wd that it crawled into the water again

Splash ...it disappeared leaving her mesmerised

All this was being watched by a pair of eyes belonging to an annoyingly handsome face
He felt ridiculous. At the site of her playing wd the trees running around smelling the flowers..sniffing and sneezing when the pollens entered. Her nose
He smiled. ...and thought



She looks so childish ...have she changed ... He don't know ... Does he even know who she was ...
Have she ever loved. Him ...he didnt have an answer ...will she ever love him ...why shud she ...
Did he really need her ...yes ...she was one of the reason which kept him alive in against all the odds
...then why do you punish her ... Let her go ... If your love was true ...becoz hatred is just an another form of love ...when you see her eyes swell up wd tears ...did you had a pain in your so called heart ...
If yes then why this drama ... She mybe not worth it ... Maybe...he didn't answer ...

" stop this ... I am confused and don't make me even more confused ..."he yelled

He looked out ...and felt there was something amiss I in his all this while ... garden now he felt it complete wd her presence ...what are u thinking Arnav ... Are you falling for her again ... Its all wrong ...have u waited for all these years to fall into her trap again ...how stupid of you ... Said the sadist in him

He was furious wd himself ...

Meanwhile in the garden ...




She knew it then if he cud create something so beautiful ...then she havnt lost much of that 18 year old Arnav ...who used to love nature and found peace in it ...maybe she cud bring him back ...she wasn't sure ...but try right ...maybe if she show him that she wasn't guilty ...bt she stated in grimace when she remembered that wretched evening ...she wud have given anything to wipe out that from her memory ...bt putting a stop to her continous thoughts her stomach grumbled ...she laughed ...

She walked inside ... To the kitchen ...found there was everything one wud need ...
Shid I make food for him too ...
Saying this to herself she moved to the stirs and saw him staring at her ...

I ..i she stammered leaving him no otion to shout at her

Trying to escape from here ...huh to elope wd your boyfriend ..huh ...tttchh where is he ?
Oh you might have got bored wd him or did you send him to prison ...He started taunting and seeing that every words of his caused her pain ...his sadistic mind triggered more due

You are never going to escape ...did you get that ... I m not gonna hurt you ..just gonna leave you here to rot ...he sniggered and left there before his heart cud melt seeing the pain she had been engulfed ...

She closed her eyes and moved outside to the backyard ..she sat beneath a big oak tree near the far end of the garden ..and for once she didn't know how to pacify herself ...

She loosened herself against the hard wood of the tree ...seldom she was pulled into that darkest days of her life ...
