@ naq5: The problem is that Anami only sees Satrupa's mistake. She has stopped asking Ladoo about the truth because she believes Satrupa was probably behind the first kidnapping as well. Maybe not directly, but indirectly. That's where Anami is wrong. Yes she knows Satrupa hid Ladoo away, but why has she stopped trying to bring Ladoo out of his trauma and asking him the truth?

@ Cute-over-Hot: Unfortunately hypocrisy is the core of LM. But even in their hypocrisy they are not always wrong. Vikram is right to punish Satrupa, but they're all wrong if they don't try to find the full truth.

is one of my absolute favorite quotes is because it resonates so much with me. Wherever I am in the world, if I need something to center me, remind me of home, tell me it will be ok I just have to call my mom. Her simple hello Kanna always has a way of comforting me in ways nothing else can. My mother is an unconditional type of love kind of mother. Like Panditayen. No conditions, "I love you because you exist and you are my kid". It's a very powerful thing to have, it gives you a confidence that you do not need anyone else's love, I say that from experience To be a child of such a mom is a blessing. Anami is blessed to be the kid of such a mom in Panditayen. That is why she will never want for love from the people of LM. So unlike Satrupa.

This is why I feel we need to see the past of Satrupa. Who is her mother ? We saw Kamini's family but so many functions, pujas. Where is Satrupa's mom ? Why did she not comfort her when Vatsalya died ? Is her mom dead too ? Did Satrupa lose her mom at a young age and is thus living in a fantasy of what a mom should be vs what a mom is. Was she parented she is parenting because that is so terrible. She did love Vatsalya and he loved her a lot,Despite her love, he ran. All the pujas, vrats could not save his life, but if she had been understanding perhaps he would have stayed. If she had talked to him instead of threatening him, he would have stayed. Satrupa does not understand the power of deeds vs things.

I once posted during the episode when Satrupa wanted to bring Ladoo as an Abhimanyu to break the Chakravayuh. Why Abhimanyu ? She seemed very confident of what was needed. I then wrote perhaps Satrupa was the first Abhimanyu, a sacrifice during the first war of LM. This is round 2. Death in the Chakravayuh perhaps does not always mean the ending of a life. It perhaps means sacrifice ? Of Satrupa's innocence, dreams, her goodness, optimism ? You can see that in Anami. She was carefree, laughing, impulsive, brash. Now she is hard, cold, calculating. She is not in the Chakravayuh only in the peripherals but battle hardens you. There is always a price.

So Satrupa must be punished. Laughably by the hypocrites of LM. The ones who demanded a sacrifice of her a generation ago. Now they are judge, jury and executioner because Satrupa herself gave them ammunition. They will always choose the heir over the outsider. The Beti over the bahu. The khoon and Khandaan will always be first and ironically Satrupa is neither khoon or khandaan over Anami. But Satrupa's redemption will also be at the hands of Anami. The redemption being her good name and her motherhood. Of all the identities of Satrupa Wife, businesswoman, bahu, she has always considered mom to be her highest identity. Something she is not so good at. To Anami her mother will always be Panditayen, but someday perhaps she will be able to see the mother of Vatsalya, the purest form of Satrupa who partly died with him. A glimmer of that lives in Satrupa. That is what is fighting for Anami so badly because I think the reality is Satrupa is fighting for Vatsalya. She has buried him, she has not really processed his death. The obsessed mother whose soul cries to be called mom is really Vatsalya's mom, not Anami's mom.

But as far as Anami is concerned, Purushottam kidnapped laddoo..later he was killed..then due to Satrupas actions she a nd Adhiraj got a doubt on satrupa, she approached Laddoo to know the truth,but he was traumatized..then Satrupa in her fear blurts outs the truth of hiding Laddoo there by putting his life in danger.. now both culprits are out(Purushottam and Satrupa)and Laddoo also became normal that's the end of that chapter for her..then why would he keep asking Laddoo the truth..now she will not try to make him remember that tragic incident,rather she will do everything so that Laddoo forgets that chapter of his life forever..thats what we do in real life too..

I think it makes sense. everyone knows purushottam kidnapped laddu. Even Anami knows that. so i dont think satrupa is going to be blamed for the 1st kidnapping. Actually Anami was even confronting sudha about it that she is not free from doubt when this whole truth of satrupa keeping him in hiding came out. that is when she completely forgot about sudha. but if we see she is not on friendly terms with sudha as before
