The guy playing Dheeru is the producer I think so he brings something to the show ,a sense of ownership that produces a better show if he is there I think. Plus they have assembled a fantastic acting team, I saw on twitter the actor playing Vikram has got a very prestigious award I assume recently from the President of India. So when the writing is good they are just magnificent and a pleasure to watch like today.

Moving on to the episode, first the triangle. Like Princess Diana said there are three people in this marriage. The relationship of Baldev and Satrupa is summed up for me in a very early episode when Anami comes to LM and was sleeping under a tree. Satrupa carries a tea tray upstairs to Baldev and makes him a cup. He tells her he stopped drinking tea that way years ago. That there sums up their relationship. They do not spend time together to know the intimate details which a couple would know or even friends. I bet Gayathri and Kamini know how their husbands take their tea even if they do not make it for them. It's because they sit by them, spend time with them, talk to them. Baldev and Satrupa had legally sanctioned sex to make babies for heirs. All Satrupa has as a LM Bahu will disappear in a moment if Baldev divorces her. It's surprising how little of a relationship they have. 'But Sudha knows. Even after all these years she knows his favorite foods, tried making them the first day she was there. Baldev had feelings for her, good memories of how she pampered him, took care of him. Those are the ones that surface when he speaks on her behalf even when others see the manipulative actions behind them. Sudha is the one taking care of Baldev while Satrupa's all Himmat Kaisa hain tumhari. She does not do the work, but expects Baldev's loyalty. Does she consider herself a good wife like she considers herself a good mother and delusional about her mamta ? Prince Charles did have a younger, prettier, sexier, virginal wife, but he did not stop loving someone who gave him something he needed. A piece of paper does not a relationship make.

Satrupa's delusion carries forward about her daughter. Same way she treats Baldev she treats Anami. She expects loyalty, has a set of rules Anami must follow. But does nothing to bond with her. But Anami is not spineless Baldev unfortunately for Satrupa. She has the tevar of Satrupa times 10 with the upbringing of Pandits. A clearer idea of right and wrong and a sense of justice. She will fight to the end for Daroga. Dheeru need not do anything.

I don't accept the excuse that Satrupa has three kids die so she should have that excuse. Dheeru was falsely accused and went to jail, Anami was abandoned, Adhiraj had to protect his sister and grow up in a hurry watching his father being dragged away. Even Baldev was either taken advantage of and paid a price for his mistakes. Everyone has a story. But these are better people in many ways, Adhiraj especially. Satrupa picked the wrong guy to go to war against. Dheeru need not fight for Adhi, not even Anami. They must have to first go through Gayathri who knows exactly who Adhi is to Anami without knowing he was Dheeru's son and even now seems to be in favor of it. Vikram is business first. Satrupa is going to lose this one badly and I for am looking forward to it.

Special mention to NS today. I just loved the different kind of eye rolls she gave as Satrupa. The woman DNGAF. This is Satrupa in all her glory, the Satrupa I fell for. Unapologetic. Standing against the world even the whole world opposes vs Dheeru. Clash of the titans. Bring it on !!

Usha brilliantly put. I hope so to. Ironically, I think Sat's to supports will be Narrottam (definitely) and Adhi (because he always will side with justice and he loves a mother whom he had himself lost in childhood), the two people who she has treated with contempt.

I loved Adhi y'day. They did justice to his character. I just hope, he always shows Anami right and wrong because the girl is as impulsive and hot headed as her mother.Not like what was shown last month.

Anam's redemption will be when she will know the truth of her mother. Only then she will prove PP's words.
