@jana for me if I take a topic to write the time period holds a lot of importance. Seven Vows was better off in nineties, but the next story idea I have it is better I keep it in present era as I need the technology.

Also for me I have felt nineties is a period that is not much explored in literature for what it was as many are not aware of IT for what it is. Many goof it up and as a person who had worked in IT industry I laugh at the way the scripts are written when technology comes to place.

@ Bold: I would have gladly bet with you. The CVs are better than that. They would never have done DDLJ and I would have won. 😆

To al u girls, I really thought our take of DDLJ and airport version was our own version of light hearted banter. I seriously did not expect that, because till now they had portrayed the under current of romance very dignifiedly and I loved that. Actually, I like that heart to heart talk between Ma-beti; I know it was too abrupt that Anami called her Ma. But I expected it. In fact, I expected it after Vats would come back and Sat doesn't let go of Anami. But due to time constraints, I am willing to accept this version as much as Sat's apologising spree 😊. I loved that at least they gave full justice to Narrottam's role. Absolute full justice; he was accepted for his deeds, not because he was simply BD's son and I even more loved that hug, because they showed that child in him craving for a family's love and especially his father's so much poignantly. AG hats off to u man!

And I loved that scene where when Sat sat down stunned, the daughter was there to support her mother. Other scenes of flanking between two mothers, et all on expected lines.

As to S2, I know now for sure there will be a S2 (OC, it was same as EHT; but I feel the abruptness with which this show closed down and BS refusing to further ask for extn and the suddenness of Vats entry) makes this possibility very high. Probably after a few months.

I missed Dhammo as much as I missed Pujan & Co.

As for S2, as many of u r saying, possibility of Vats turning negative (Simmi did u mention the hairstyle or was it Shreya) might be there. But I beg to differ, because till now they have portrayed the twins to be like minded in thoughts. So there may a pang of envy when attn is given to one (Anami also had when Laddoo went so much to Sat), but it would never turn into hate. We have other revenge making serials for that. If they remain as dedicated as now, it may be a wee bit envy, but that love and affection will over-weigh that and each will be the other's support system (despite the cake 😊)

As to ur post on writing and the time period Shruthi, u r right there. That's partly the reason I don't complete what I start. One is u must be aware of all nitty-gritties and the finer points. It is in the details that a a good story is respected. My husband says, if u need to write one page, u have to read 100 books (sensible ones not crap). And I've found out it is true. I read, but I am not too patient and I keep jumping from 1 task to the other. Hence, the problems.

If, for eg, u r referring to a law, u must be correct in specifying the correct section; if it is a hospital scene, u must know in minute details of the disease u r talking about, etc. U cannot randomly write whatever comes into ur head. Yes, internet is a big help nowadays, but one must be sure that facts r correct.

And, yes, whenever u start ur new story, ATB for that also 😊.

😆 I din't know what to expect..with their penchant for the romantic songs & BW, i had my hopes😆

Creatives go crazy at times while wrapping up sometimes.

Yes Jana lot of reading is needed to write a fiction. It's difficult as you get writer's block also. Sometimes you dont feel like writing.

It was because of online readers I completed Seven vows.

True, but even with their love for BW and romantic songs they never showed anything OTT except for those few days when Anami was running away from LM. Even in those the only really unbelievable part was the fall and eye-stare. Everything else was mostly well done. So I didn't expect them to suddenly show a full-out DDLJ scene or any of the other filmi pana we all came up with.
